My key takeaway is to utilise this human form in Sadhna for the eliviation of the soul. And I seek the Grace of Guru to protect me from the entanglement of Maya.
In this world, one who has been awarded this human form should not work hard day and night simply for sense gratification, which is available even for dogs and hogs that eat stool. One should engage in penance and austerity to attain the divine position of devotional service. By such activity, one’s heart is purified, and when one attains this position, he attains eternal, blissful life, which is transcendental to material happiness and which continues forever. This is the highest purpose of human life which can be attained only by rendering service to highly advanced spiritual personalities, the Mahatmas.🙏🙏🙏

Tthis wonderful episode contains the lesson that as human beings , we have to take part in some social / family obligations . As our sole purpose is to reach God , and also as it is difficult even for the great saints and ' PARAMAHANSAS ' to stay away from the grip of ' MAYA ' we must be very cautious about falling a prey to worldly indulges . Bharat's story is an eye - opener how our attachment to anything may result in deterioration from spiritual path . We should train up our mind to remember , chant , sing , meditate the name and leelas of God for our salvation . Thank you Swamijee for providing such valuable knowledge from the scriptures . Very important knowledge swamiji. Bharat ji Maharaj being at such an elevated level had to become a deer because of his attachment to the deer. What to talk about us who are so fallen in consciousness. We must be very careful of any material attachments that are getting stronger in the mind❤️🙏
It is a relief that there is also the law of Grace. When we surrender to God, His grace can burn all our accumulated Karmas. Hope you have heard that lecture from Swamiji.
Swamiji beautifully described the birth of Rishab Dev Bhagwan and one of his son Bharat who Bharat Verse is named after and Bharat maharaj was near God realization until his mind got attached to a baby deer explaining that we end up wherever the mind is attached to at time of death. Bharat maharaj was thinking of Hare Deer instead of God’s name and so he became a deer in his next life and the story of JadBharat starts after his deer life ended and he was given another human form again
Word we've all use ... purpose of life...is it about when we measure our whole life at our last time...how much point we will give ourself at that time.....for self satisfaction that how much fare we did with this life ....
Dhyayato vishayan pumsah.... That's what matters, we must always strive to think about krishna and guru not about the sense objects. Constant rememberance is the goal 🙏🏻
We have to work against gravity to hold on to that remembrance. Swamiji has said that since mind is made of maya, it naturally slips back into the material realm.

I simply love listening to Bhagavatam series narrated in the divine voice of Swamiji. The gist of these series specifically focuses on the purpose of life which is to purify our mind, love God , serve God and make Him happy. Practice detachment and attach the mind to God ALONE .
This is an important episode that shows how easily our mind gets attached if we are not careful. This episode is also about Priyavrat, the son of Manu. He had to be convinced by his grandfather, Bramha, to marry and procreate to continue this human existence. His son Nabi and wife, Meru Devi give birth to Rishab Dev Bhagwan🙏. Their son Bharrat got attached to a deer and was reborn as one.
Swamiji beautifully explains how we need to utilise the human form to achieve our highest goal. The Shrimad Bhagavatam is full of wonderful stories and leelas so we can ponder over it. 🙏
