Og Peter also killed his uncle's killer. And he had to live with that weight and all he ever remembered was his uncles words. With great power comes great responsibility
@@simone5760 maybe not directly but his actions chasing him down cornering him until he had no choice but to pull his gun and peter just disarms him ready to kill him but he falls. also in spiderman 3 when he was black suit spiderman he thought he also killed sandman in the sewers by thinking he drowned to death.
Watching that made me, even as a small boi, not say negatuve things to people i cared for. Never want something profound to be the last shit i hear someone say before out last argument.
Wronggggg, he saved him cuz when Norman dies in Spider-Man with Tobey his best friend thinks he killed him becomes green goblin and dies while saving him, he just didn’t want him to suffer his pain
@@LunarShadowWolfbro y’all are soo wrong as hell pretty sad cause the rule of being spiderman is that they won’t kill villains biggest rule for spiderman to know is to not kill any villains
@@brandonmartinezmedina6572It could be because he's Spiderman, and all of that, "Spiderman doesn't kill," stuff. But I'm pretty sure, it's just as simple as Tobey's Spiderman saving Norman from being impaled, just like Norman's son had saved him, from being impaled. And also the "no kill" thing. 💀💀
I also like to think the other reason was because of what his Aunt May told him in Spider-Man 3 that Spider-Man doesn't kill people and how "Revenge is like a poison."
While I agree, it is implied that only the villains were pulled from the past as the hero’s remembered all the events that happened after all the deaths of those villains.
And another, Peter was finally able to redeem himself for not being able to save Norman, the reason that begins Harry's destiny that led to his death...
without harry you know doing his destiny peter wouldnt be able to stop venom and sandman. it was his death that enraged peter to kill venom but he still lived with it. Hopefully there a multi verse where harry doesnt die
@@ItsYaBoyAdmin-df5sdit wasn’t technically Peter who killed Venom. He threw a bomb at the symbiote while Eddie was separated from it. Eddie couldn’t bear to live without it though, so he ran to bond with it again, regardless if it cost him his life, which it ultimately did. Peter even ran to save him, but was too late.
He doesn't want MCU peter to suffer as much as he did. Listen to what he said " i got when i wanted " to kill (not exactly) his uncle's murderer. Then he said "It didn't make it better"
I think it was more to do so because Tobey Spiderman knew the emptiness and regret that comes with revenge. He's killed Uncle Ben's original killer and was remorseful after it and then when he thought he killed Sandman for revenge Aunt May gave him the talk about how Spiderman doesn't kill people.
When tobeys saved Norman he basically saved Harry aswell and changed his timeline so in his new timeline Harry would be alive because he wouldn't hate spider-man for killing his father so Harry will live, I don't know if it will affect the rest of the timeline but saving Norman saved Harry and a lot of people don't know this because in the movie it's said that it will take them back to the moment they died but because toms spider-man didn't let Dr strange do that, he ended up changing the timelines for andrews and tobeys universe so in the end it went well for Tobey spider-man and In Andrews newtime line the lizard would live and that would change the timeline completely after the events of the amazing spider-man and it didn't go well for toms spider-man
Imagine what was going thru Peter's mind as he was about to be hit wit the blades. Probably was like...."I accept my fate", then Harry takes his place and Peter becomes enraged because he was ok with the fate he was facing but he was not okay with someone he loved taking his place. So he proceeded to whoop the shit out of the enemy then tried saving said enemy because he realized he caused eddie to become what he was. Lesson is Love those who love you and protect them when they can't protect themselves and if, at all possible....if you see someone younger than you about to take the same Road that led you to so much pain, Stop them. Save them like you wish someone would've stopped you from making that 1 choice you regret til the current day.
It’s not ONLY that, per se. He also mentioned that he got revenge against the guy who killed Uncle Ben. And it didn’t make him feel better. It made him feel worse. That’s why he didn’t let Peter kill him. Because he knew it wouldn’t make him feel better
Tobey is definitely reliving that trauma of Norman Osborn dying by his own glider in the that moment. He just had to stop it in time this time saving a father figure that he had lost in the past.
Not just that... the main reason why he prevents Tom from killing the goblin is for Harry. cause Harry loved his dad, and Tobey just didn't want to live with that blameness... and after the saveness, he hopes that when he comes back to his universe, he will see Harry smile at peter with his dad with a good end.🕷
It wasnt this moment actually. It was the FIRST tobey movie. In the first movie, norman was the only person that knew his identity and afterwards tobeys peter made a decision that norman knowing his identity would put maryjane and aunt may in danger. When tobey showed up to the fight his entire thing was to end norman. But during the fight peter realized that that wasnt the right action and thay saving norman became the thing to do. But in normans final moments beflre the glider, he pleaded with tobey THE EXACT SAME WAY and peter chose his instincts and it ended with normans death. In this no way home scene, tom is fighting for his identity to be erased to protect his woman but his aunt had already given her life and he just knew that if norman couldnt be cured he had to be gone. Its the same poetix ending to tobeys movie just 2 decades later. NWH is such a love letter to all of us who were here for tobeys movies and andrews. We all know andees movies got snubbed and were actually ahead of their time. They didnt cut away fro gwens death and i hadnt given many movies much respect by that time for their boldness. They didnt even cut away. Tragic but making that scene appear, by the producers putting their foot down, mesnt they truly cared about the context and source material. Captain will be my favorite but knowing we can ALL relate to Peter in many ways is just so important to the community. Whether DC or Marvel, everyone agrees spiderman is a genre of his own. I love spiderman, best part, anyone can be him, so i love most.
This very scene shows us privately, Tobey hoped by helping his counterpart in curing Norman of his evil nature that he could avert the latter's fate and by extension Harry's. Knowing what Harry would think if Spider-Man actually did kill his father and not wanting a worsened version of events that could jeopardized their friendship and ultimately led to his death. Tobey lowkey pinning hopes that his best friend Harry from Earth-96283 will be still alive after Osborn return back.
For me, i unterstood that Peter Tobey didn't want that Peter MCU go on the same road that him. He didn't want that he lives the same things that he lived.
True and he knows everyone deserves a second chance but come to think of this he kinda broke the canon event because Norman isn’t dead his friend harry is dead oh no help!!! Miguel Ohara:Peter I’m after u
I remember watching that original scene when his best friend and man I cried 😭. Even though Harry hates his guts he still stood up for his friend for life 😭🧬
Im absolutely surprised after see NWH back then how can Green Goblin & Tobey spiderman interact not once in NWH ? Tobey spidy first villein was Green Goblin. Green Goblin is Harry father the best friends of Tobey. Atleast tobey remind him some words about Harry. Green Goblin was known Tobey/peter parker more than others but there are no interaction of them in NWH like they never meet each other. That very disappointed me i know its Tom Holland spider movie but atleast 2min about this scene.
No it is not only a single reason, also that character of Spidey is created to only save everyone not for kill and Tom Holland was too angry at that time but Tobey want to save Norman Osborn Am I Right 👍
Yes a pretty valid reason also there's another short reason is that he doesn't want to end up like him too because he killed the man who killed uncle Ben and he killed Norman Osborn by accident
Another short reason: is also he doesn’t want his best friends Ned & MJ knowing Mysterio’s death video was right about Peter Parker (Tom Holland) was a killer & responsible for his death even if Beck was in a dangerous area to get shot
“It’s not up to us to choose either someone lives or dies. I know they ment a lot to you, but they wouldn’t want you living one second with revenge in our hearts. Revenge is like a poison, it can take you over. And before you know it it turns you into something ugly. Something your not”
"You know what you do with all that pain? You hold it tight, tell it burns your hand, and you say this: No one else should have to live like this. No one else should ever have to feel this pain. Not on my watch." 12th Doctor.
Not the only reason. Because aunt May said to peter that revenge is like a poison and he didnt wanted to see his otherself being corrupted in the seek of vengeance
Why does that one scene from 2007 from 17 years ago still makes me cry ik im 10 years old but that death was so unnecessary and kind harry could've let peter die but he didn't, that's a true friend
