Recently came across a sunscreen that works for my normal to oily skin. The littlellextra rice berry sunscreen offers strong protection without causing any breakouts. A must-try for people with similar skin issues. Remember to reapply every two hours, particularly if you're outside. I also apply the Vitaminc face serum from riceberry and I am seeing that my skin tone is enhancing gradually.
I recall a friend suggested riceberry sunscreen to me over the summer, and I purchased it instantly. I’ve been applying it since then, and I’ve really loved it! I’m combination skin type. I’ve even got my mom to try it. It gives such a good finish. I’ve also tried the Requil one, but I’m not sure why I don’t like how it just sits on the top of my face. So, riceberry any day.
been doing skincare for 2 months now per your recommendations. ive experienced only 1 breakout so far, completely due to one day that i went crazy on sugar at a party 😂. ive gotten so many compliments due to my clearer and brighter skin, and ive felt more confident than ever. thanks, Brandon!
@@itsfrosteyy3112generally try to stay under 30gr of sugar is pretty healthy id say thats a good start, obviously the lesser the better, i personally only do 8grams of sugar (two cubes) for coffee and 0 added sugar or processed food in the rest of the day but my diet might be a bit extreme so start with something you’r comfortable with and that doesnt feel too hard to keep up, the goal is longevity
When you wash your T Zone may be dry or oily and you may still have mixed or sensitive skin. A major ingredient he left out for dry skin types is urea. Much more important than things like Aloe Vera, and even niacinamide. Urea is the holy grail in moisturisers for dry skin types. Using sunscreen with retinoids needs to be STRESSED as well.
Honestly I keep it simple. A decent combo moisturizer with spf, and gentle face wash. My skin is great as long as you’re getting that sleep snd water. Great video
Its interesting how people will put more chemicals on their face expecting to help but won't consider the chemically processed foods they're putting into their bodies
You have no clue what you’re on about. ‘chemicals’ doesn’t mean anything. Everything’s a chemical. The ingredients in these products have been tested and proven to help your skin and there’s nothing wrong with them. People just talk about ‘chemicals’ to spread fear and get you to buy their expensive beef tallow face cream
AM: cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen PM: cleanser, tretinoin (Rx), moisturizer That’s it’s. That’s been my routine for a few years now and everyone compliments my skin.
Cleanser is a must. Water on its own can not emulsify to remove sweat, oil and dead skin cell's. Add a Sunscreen that hydrates and is suitable for acne patients and those with dry skin with at least a SPF 30.
Retinols are really good, definitively one of my staples. Probably the best anti-aging ingredient and is often used against acne. Would really recommend for anyone (any skin) with the other 3 basics. You can also easily find moisturizing sunscreen to speed up the morning routine. Some dermatologist also say to not cleanse 2 times a day and only do it before bed because it can damage the natural protection our skin makes, just like you don't want to wash yourself more than once a day.
@@slickrick5596 It's probably because you take baths twice a day that your skin clogges because your skin NEEDS a healthy amount of oil to protect itself. Since your scrubbing it off so often, your skin produces more oil to make it's natural barrier quicklier
I had severe acne and even after medication I had acne coming up every now and then. Then I changed my skin care routine which works 100% all the time. 1. Workout 5 days a week 2. Eat 90% whole foods in my diet. At least 200g fruits and 200g plus leafy vegies 3. Drink 3-4 litres water daily 4. Move the body throughout the day 10k to 20k steps 5. Use SA face wash and a light moisturizer. Sunscreen if I go out in sun
6:19 Retinol will not cause a bad reaction with the sun, it will just suffer photolisis (it will be degraded) and will have no effect on your skin. Also I’d like to see the scientific references to some of your claims…
There are videos about it on YT but they do a terrible job of vetting their therapists and there have been a lot of complaints of uncaring/unprofessional sessions, even sometimes therapists taking calls in a public area. @@SAMBA10
Here are some more helpful tips: 1) take power naps if you can. It helps with eye bags and dark circles 2) have a freshly squeezed lemon drink 4x a week. Its your vit c from within. 3) take b complex vitamins and iron regularly. 4) drink water water water!
@@Ashlord Im just like you bro. I followed his advice on cleaning and mosturising and my skin is a lot better. The cerve moisturiser isnt greasy or oily either. face is smooth now.
I also totally fixed my skin by washing with a cleanser at night and only splashing with water in the morning I had a lot of blemishes and dryness when I used cleanser twice a day
0:40 idk what dermatologists say but food definitely impacts your skin. Every time I eat chocolate I get acne and otherwise I almost never have it (on my face)
My parents don't let me wash my bedding very often so i just ordered a 2 pack of pillowcases on Amazon, looking to change it out atleast 1 a week to hopefully help with bald head acne.
Don't forget about the GOAT of skincare products, Tretinoin. Not for everyone, but its a game-changer for a lot of people for both acne, anti-aging, and general skin health.
My skincare is: Morning: cleanser - vitamin c serum (it temps me brighten my skin because I do have hyperpigmentation) - Moisturizer -SPF Night : double cleansing - Moisturizer - pimple treatment
“It's a popular misconception that retinol is an exfoliant. It isn't, because it cannot break the bonds that hold dead skin cells to the surface. Retinol is an antioxidant that promotes cell turnover, and an important skin-restoring ingredient that can impact how skin cells mature.”
If you already have pretty good skin then a cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen is good enough, however for people with skin concerns like rosacea, this just isn't enough
I’m 19 and still a student so I’m broke and I just use the AM and PM creams from CeraVe. AM contains moisturizer and SPF50, and PM contains niacinamide and hyaluronic acid.
Hi brandon I've been watching your videos quite regularly and I can say you do have a complete knowledge of men's fashion and healthcare would like to see for hair care too
Peep Alex Costa, bro. He's the men's hair GOAT. And he's even created his own hair product line called Forte Series and I can honestly say everything is amazing
Your fashion recommendations always leave me in awe! I'm curious, what's your secret for pinpointing the perfect pieces, whether it's clothing or accessories?
The amount of inaccuracies here for someone who has such good skin is astonishing. And derms never claim diet does not affect the skin (it really does in the long run, especially when discussing advanced glycation end products).
I love how he mentions diet, sleep and overall cleanliness, people try and sell you products claiming it’ll magically give you glass skin, no products matter if you don’t have the basic principles to being clean
Thank you, thank you thank you for mentioning keeping bedsheets and towels, clean and hygienic. I think a lot of people talking about the subject completely omit that and it is very important.❤
Nice video. Just two things. First, retinol is NOT an exfoliant and should be used sparingly, as tolerated. Two, there is nothing wrong with chemical sunscreen.
@@preciousfires5088Sure. Most, if not all, credible journals and research on the chemical sunscreen shows there is nothing harmful about it. It does get more into your blood stream more than its mineral counterpart; however, you simply sweat/urinate that out. I use chemical all day long. Pregnant women use it too, and they are much more elegant to apply, and thereby making it more likely for repeated use. Don’t believe these RU-vid pseudo scientists who hasn’t read a journal for a day in their lives make you believe that chemical sunscreens are bad for you.
I have hormonal acne.. i just do simple basic skincare,3months have improved, and after 1year my acne gone and my skin are way better, acne scar also gone, now im flawless. Day Cerave hydrating cleanser Cerave moisturizer Abib uv stick Night Cerave hydrating cleanser Adapealene Clindamycin gel Cerave moisturizer
Chemical/organic sunscreens are not bad or harmfull at least you have an allergy or very sesitive skin, and are going to be more comfortable to use in most cases, do not leave you white and are not so heavy like mineral, just use one from a well known brand (for both mineral and chemical)
Exactly. This is why I don’t listen to people like him. I rather listen to dermatologist and cosmetic formulator. No evidence chemical cause problem yet people like him spread false information about sunscreen. Mineral sunscreen offer less protection than chemical sunscreen and you know most people rarely apply enough sunscreen anyways.
Guys he might be right but BEFORE introducing some acid into your skin, check your skin barrier and take care of it for at least 1 month. Then you can slowly ad acid into your routine. Start always with low pourcentage first and then SLOWLY INCREASE as YOUR skin permit.
Smooth skin is coming from the inside. Stay hydrated, Vitamin C Bioflav supplement each day. Complement with a good A vitamin facecream. Wash your face with soap, that’s it! (no fancy this and that extra cleansing products needed.)
It really depends on your skin. if you have oily or sensitive skin, then less is more. But someone with problematic skin like me need more to have my skin in good shape. Basically i have parts that are oily, parts that are dry, and then sensitive parts. But i’d say not many people have it as complicated as me.

There definitely is quite some misinformation going on in this video, especially in the sunscreen department, but I gues you can take it as a starting point. Dont forget to moisturize your decolleté area as well and the collar bones and the back of your neck. Age and damage shows up severly in these parts because the skin is very thin here. In particular the decolleté
Man your channel has been blowing uppp. Also I’d like to say, a lot of results come from what you eat. fruit helps a lot. My skin has improved 200% from watching you too. Especially the vitamin C serum. Was very helpful. Everything else works wonders. This is a actual good video
Really like the video Brandon but organic/chemical sunscreens are safe! They usually have higher UVA protection, which is super important. The US has older filters but we can always get European sunscreens online which are great!
@@CreoleX409 That works too. I like coconut oil because of its versatitlity. They usually come in packs of two and I can use the other one for cooking. Coconut oil is good for your hair as well. You don't need much for hair and skin so it lasts a very long time.
My skin got irritated after I used so many cleansers, face wash, scrub, and DIYs on my skin to get rid of sun tanning and some very little black spot. Then my skin started stinging after using anything, applying anything on it. So I stopped using everything for two weeks and my skin got better. But again, I bought CeraVe Hydrating cleanser and CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. But after two or three days of using it, I had red bumps all over my cheeks. I was crazy to use so many things and Nothing suits my skin right now........
All dermatologists that do not have cosmetic procedures as a large part of their practice always say proper diet and hygiene are just as important as sunscreen
Niacinamide is mostly for combination to oily skin and Hyaluronic Acid is for normal to dry skin. Now, If you are oily skin and you find H.A at the lowest postion of your product label, then it's OK but never at first place.
I know Mothers 👩 Day, last year. Was when your family home 🏡 was destroyed by fire 🔥, and it's maybe a sore subject. But I was wondering how you and Ryder, your parents and family are doing? Stay strong 💪 and remember 2 Corinthians 5:1, our Lord God is watch over use. 🙏 You are blessed.
It's not necessary to get a cleanser with added ingredients like salicylic acid, vitamins etc. Those ingredients need to stay on skin for sometime in order to have any effect. Any added ingredients (like salicylic acid) in a cleaner/ rinse off product will wash off the face before it has a chance to do anything.
I'm a full time vegan and none of these moisturizers worked on my skin but upon trying the beef tallow my skin is now smooth and glowing. I got lots of compliments from my co-workers!
I knew I mispronounced it after I watched back the recording but I was like screw it, I’m not going to redo it. Most people don’t actually know how to pronounce it anyway haha
