One has a cannon on his shoulder and a blade on his arm. The other has a blade on his shoulder and a cannon on his arm. Would they rip and tear together? Every day.
One thing people forget is that in order to even hold a crucible you must be unimaginably powerful (even if it's unactivated) you get consumed by the crucible. And in order to activate it you must be beyond imaginary power. But the idea is cool
Yes, it matches the duality of Guts and Doomslayer, one attracts the demons to his demise and fights for his life, even gambling to sheer impossibility of calculations to die, but his rage can't let him die and fights for an impossible ending of peace, but by another will bring punishment and hate to the demons and sends them to hell of his own hands to die and fear, by the beast that hunts the demons for his family, and his rabbit, and kills all who stands opposing him but dies eventually by his hands, both commit to kill every single demons, down...to...the..last...ONE!, RIP AND TEAR, TILL IT IS DONE!!!
Part of me wants to see an actual crossover, like the Ashura and Baki one that’s happening. Nor would it be too much to make happen chronologically. Berserk may take place in a fictional world, but chronologically it takes place in your standard Medieval World setting. Knights, Kings, etc. And the Doom Slayer, formally known as Doom Guy, is both thousands of years old as well as is referred to as a Time Traveling Warrior. Meaning, if The Slayer went back in time, how hard of a stretch would it be to have Berserk and DOOM take place in the same universe, just at different points of time, preferably before The Slayer killed The Creator so he would still have his Divine Powers. They are both worlds where demons are real, where supposedly Dragons and other creatures are real. It could happen, and people would literally lose their shit in its awesomeness.
"I have no idea who he is, how his weapons work, where he got that sick crucible from, or what his face even looks like, but the demons started to literally scream in terror when he showed up, so that's enough for me. So, about that portal to hell..." Berserk: tides of blood
I feel like it might go something like this Guts had been fighting so long he hadn’t even remembered when they first began, starting strong and putting Griffith on the back foot, his rage and his fury towards the man who’d not only betrayed the only family he’d ever truly known, but also himself fueling his assault, but it was clear the longer this bout continued, the stronger Griffith was becoming, he needed some way to change the tide, and soon, blocking a near fatal pierce from Griffith’s Rapier, the strike leaving a deep groove in Dragonslayer’s flat as Griffith proceeded to push him back with his newfound power Before long Guts knew, Griffith would punch his way through Dragonslayer and spear him in the heart, he could rely upon his rage, use the Black Armor to get an edge, but that was too risky And then, he felt it, a surge of hatred, righteous fury and duty that far outpaced even his own, it nearly bowled him over to the floor as it fast approached, the weight of it nearly crushing him, and as he struggled to look up, he could see Griffith was struggling even moreso, and that’s when Guts saw HIM A man adorned in armor, green as the forest, looking queer and foreign to anything he’d ever seen, his helmet obscuring nearly everything but his eyes behind a plate of glass, odd, he thought, until he met the man’s gaze Empathy washed over him from the man in green, but it was soon overtaken with unbridled and Godlike fury when the man laid his eyes on Griffith, and Griffith in turn looked back at the man, quaking in abject horror The only words that passed his lips were “t-the…the Slayer!” His tone petrified and sputtering as this “Slayer” reached to his hip, drawing a sword hilt of sorts to bear, and to Guts, it looked positively Demonic, and he wondered Was this an Apostle come to claim Griffith’s throne? Is that why he knew him? Well He got his answer when the hilt shifted, springing forth a cross guard and from the empty cavity of the hilt, a blade made of a deep sanguine energy that radiated heat, runes Guts couldn’t recognized etched onto its surface like glass, mystifying him And it seemed as he brought the blade up, Griffith recognized such a weapon, beginning to scream before the Slayer brought his weapon down on Griffith And Guts watched in astonishment as it cleaved him in twine like a hot knife through butter, splitting Griffith in half from shoulder to hip, and as he watched Griffith’s now lifeless body fall to the floor, he met the Slayer’s gaze, watching as he extinguished the sanguine blade, returning it to his hip before reaching upward, his hands going to his helmet before removing it from his head, the odd contraption falling to the grassy earth beneath And the Slayer extended his hand then, his face rugged, not unlike Guts’ own, pale blue eyes and a sandy blonde, clean cut swath of hair atop his head, the man called out in a voice equal in gruffness to Guts’ own “Blazkowicz, William J. the 3rd, saw you could use some help with that demon” And meeting this man’s hand with his own, he responded simply “Guts. And…thanks”
You mean lower the difficulty... of hunting them down. The demons show up thinking it's a free lunch, and then they have just enough time to scream "It's a trap!!!" before he slaughters them. Demons are so terrified of this guy that they might actually might start actively avoiding branded targets rather than risk it being HIM.
@@Just_A_Dude sure, but i just like to imagine that while doom slayer hunts down the demons willingly in eternal rather than being trapped on mars of a hell on earth like the 2016 reboot and classic games, Guts was forcefully marked to be killed and has to pretty much always be prepared for an attack no matter where he is. This could mean that the doom slayer has more than enough free time to have demons just pull up to his flying space castle and then have his fun with them, which makes sense actually when i think about it. If someone were to make a comic crossover between Guts and doom slayer, it would be cool to have doom guy do Guts the favor of hunting the demons down just so that he can get his well deserved rest for once.
Imagine if instead of Skull Knight saving guts and Casca from the eclipse, The Doom Slayer walks through a blue portal and gives guts his crucible while he pulls out his hammer
Dude would just BFG the godhand, arbalest stunned Griffith, then meathook up to him and combo his way into a hellbreaker slam, following up with a good ole blood punch
@@kevgmei That would be awesome but I really doubt he could do anything to the godhand. Guts and Doomslayer are pretty close to the same strength and can't really fight beings that alter reality in a direct fight.
@@plugshirt1762 What about when Doomguy kills the Icon of Sin, an archdemon that warps reality just by existing, or even Satan himself? I imagine the dude would just solo Griffith and the gang!
Bethesda and Berserk need to have a talk. Co op Doom with one player as Doom Guy The other is Guts. Crossover due to dimension tears or something. Doom slayer transported to Berserk world, or vice versa. I feel they'd get along nicely.
Bethesda is pure cancer and do nothing G for the fans or the people who support them They won't do anything unless they want to, knowing them they wouldn't do it just to annoy everyoneof Remember Bethesda hate us in every way and have taken the biscuit so many times it's insulting
Makes me realize that a berserk themed game may actually work better if the gameplay is more like doom eternal instead of some third person hack and slash where you plow through hundreds of enemies at the same time. After all, in berserk, the coolest part of how guts fights is how he individually dispatches his enemies one by one, not just blindly hacking through a stand still crowd.
Mick Gordon had a hand in the production of this track. He decided to add another unothadox instrument to this track. If you listen carefully you can hear the subtle addition of demons shitting themselves.
In the golden age, in the last battle, when the shadows first lengthened, one stood. He chose the path of endless struggle, in his ravenous hatred, he found no peace, and with boiling blood, he scoured the unrolled plains, seeking vengeance against the dark lords who had wronged him. And those who tasted the bite of his sword, named him… the Black Swordsman
I'd like to imagine doom slayer was included in the sacrifices and the apostles just went "yeah... maybe not that guy. Actually, DEFINITELY not that guy."
I went in expecting it to be mediocre, this song in an unexpected masterpiece. The more I listen to it the more I adore it oh my god. The way both songs are mixed is brilliant. Especially 4:17 to the end. It was genuinely beautiful seeing the two songs clash in harmony. You knew exactly how to make this work and YOU COOKED. Honestly you would make an amazing song composer.
