I’d argue you should Ambush 1x at the start of Shadow Dance to get Expose Weakness up, THEN use Shadowstep into another Ambush to make that Ambush MORE BIGGLY.
To be fair that's probably only the right call if you lose no uptime by doing it. Even losing a couple seconds of autos/energy regen would be more of a dps loss than just shadowstepping on pull.
Great guide, in case I dont have CB pre pull, I use a macro to get naked, and equip gear. Doing so will drop my hp to 50%, which will get me some heals and CBs
Hey dude, appreciate the guide (sub is my fav) as I mained rogue in original and again this time round but for the life of me I never seem to be able to use shadowmeld to be able to re-enter stealth..can either yourself or another tell me what a numpty Ive been and where I’m going wrong 😂
@@A3BGS only thing I can think of is that you are popping it while taking damage? It doesn’t work like vanish so you will auto drop stealth I assume. I do know it works though because rogues in my discord have said it does. (I’m troll so never tested personally)

Sub rogue enjoyer here. instead of asking the druid for combos prepull, ask a shaman to drop healing rain instead. One cast and 90% of the time, youll be full combos. Another thing is Key + Prestor's beats Cyclone + Prestor's by 400 dps or so. And lastly, using shadowstep + evisc during Find Weakness beats Shadowstep + Ambush during Find Weakness by 50ish DPS although this last one is pretty negligible.
Thanks for the vid. I'll be sticking with assas for sure. I'd rather not develop arthritis and just stick to pumping with an easier spec. Haha. Your dedication is amazing though with all these vids.
since our lord and savior simonize has left us for sod having a decent rogue guide has been tough for some of these fights but ur few videos have been the best so far. Can you give an tips on fights that dont really favor sub? like during chimaeron when we have to stack im guessing its just spam hemo for combo points or during maloriak with the ad phase. Or even cho gal and having to swap for the elementals. I really enjoy the spec a lot more then I thought and I rly wanna commit more time on fights but during my own heroic kills its hard in a not tryhard guild to limit my damage to limit test on sub.
