Here the youthful assistant and I head to the 2024 Shrewsbury Steam Rally at Onslow Park, our first visit since 2010. What a show it was! Classic cars, lorries, vans, steam traction engines, steamrollers, tractors, coaches and more, a much bigger event than I'd remembered in fact, it took all day to get around everything at this year's Onslow Park show.
The car line-up was better than at many shows we get to, simply because there were a great many older cars, in fact very few were post-1990 and pre-war cars in particular were very well represented.
The commercial vehicles section was full as always, with some fantastic old lorries in attendance, and alongside were some superb old coaches, a group of Crossleys being particularly memorable. Many of these vehicles were captured driving up to, and around, the display arena (same for cars etc).
I hadn't planned on this Old Classic Car video being quite so lengthy, but there was a lot to see and I didn't want to exclude more than I had to, especially as the Onslow Park rally hadn't previously featured here.
