I know this is a joke but iirc there have been people on there that knew it was bait but still showed up because they wanted help rather than to be arrested and thrown in prison, so they quite literally came there for Chris Hansen lol
Boondocks Chris Hanson more like Chris handsome I came here for man butt I like you and I want you , we can do this the easy way or the hard way THa CHoiCE is YOURS
You’re allowed to say “oops, sorry” for like... stepping on the back of someone’s shoes while they walk in front of you ... but meeting up with kids? Jeez 🙄
Cop: "Why did you kill his whole family, set the capital on fire, run over that dog, kick the kids sand castle over, and drop kick a granny?" Creep: ".......opps?"
You can't feel sorry for him. I have a seizure disorder and a similar scar, but I am not out there putting myself in situations where I am running into Chris Hansen.
On one hand, ya probably don't have the same brain damage as this dude. On the other, he clearly knows what he's doing enough to know that he shouldn't be doing it and it's a really bad idea.
I dont think a person driven by their brain damage would be so aware of the terrible thing they are doing, I think they would be more delusional about it? Dunno just thought about it
@@donamirtz Yeah, brain damage is a bit of a murky subject, because results can vary. Most people like to try to wrap everything into 1 convenient package, but things aren't always that simple.
I had a friend who got severe brain damage after a fall at his workplace. He became a totally different person afterwards. A lot more quiet, withdrew, developed a liking for a bunch of new things. Never tried hitting on underage kids though.
It makes people uncomfortable to suggest it's his brain's fault and not his own fault because it takes away our own sense of control and sense of identity, but I mean the science seems to suggest that we have less control over our actions than we think we do when it comes to abnormalities in brain structures and functions. I know some idiot will come along and think I'm trying to defend the guy when really I'm just trying to think more critically about the human condition and how we are at the mercy of our individual brains. I still think the guy should be locked up somewhere... we just have a long way to go in our understanding of our brains and human behavior.
@@philj8205 Thats exactly what I say. I feel bad for those people and they should be villified IF they didnt already hurt someone. In my opinion they should be kept in a sort of mental hospital where they get different prototype treatments so maybe they can have a normal life again but if they cant they will stay in there. If you look at this people especially this oopsi guy you cant help but see hes not more mentally developed then a 10 year old. Wich again doesnt mean its okay for them to hit up minors but blind anger is not what helps this people and society because if people keep beeing this ignorant about things that arent their fault they will never feel comfortable enough to seek out help themselfs.
@@mr.jameson218 Ey same here. I got beat up by my dad and his trusty belt knuckle more times then I talked to him. Sister tried to kill me my whole childhood long tried to blind me with perfume, suffocate me, drown me, stab me and everything in between. My mothe rnever really liked me so she didnt care in her eyes for example it was apparently my own fault for telling my sister her facebook time was long overdrawn and then getting beat up and getting deeply cut with a big kitchen knive near my wrists. I also never got taught anything by my parents everything I know I had to learn by myself often time by painful trial and error emotionally and physically. While I could learn certain things like tieng shoes or reading clocks by myself other things like social interactions and how to behave or where to look at when talking to people is something I probably never will master. With all that, my whole family that doesnt like me and many physical limitations Im a just and kind person at heart. I never done anything unjust to another human beeing and I always go out of my way to help people without ever wanting anything in return. Sure I am awefully lonely due to my inability to keep friends or relationships or the inability to have a organized normal life but at least I can say I made it 26 years through this hell without ever thinking about or wishing anything bad upon anyone else. That has to count for anything. So yeah Im 100% sure bad people are born like that, not created.
Him: Opps I did it again, I chatted up kids, met with Chris Hansen. oh (Literal) baby baby. Opps I ended up on TV, got sent to pri-i-i-son, cuz I'm not innocent
In the second encounter you can clearly see as Micheal's about to leave, he drops the act. There's that noticeable change in demeanor from "Herp Derp, I'm special ed!" to "I'm not pitying my way out of this". He stops pronouncing his overbite, he quits the animated, exaggerated movements, his tone completely shifts and he drops an octave. This is a sociopath at its finest.
Don't know about sociopath, but he's certainly manipulative. He's not very bright, regardless of his injuries or potential disability. Feel like that term gets thrown around a lot & often incorrectly.
As the older sister of a young adult guy with special needs, I am always trying my hardest to teach him right from wrong. To teach him think before he acts, and evaluate a situation to the best of his abilities before doing anything. I'm never worried about him doing something to this degree, I'm confident in the kid, but to see someone take advantage of the existence of special needs individuals as a way to get themselves out of shit makes me so damn sick to my stomach. Maybe this guy is an individuals with special needs, looking at his demeanor i rushed to the comments to see if anyone else noticed. (When you or a loved one has something like autism, you catch on quickly.) It is absolutely not an excuse, he knew that girl was underage and that it was wrong, and it just makes me really sad :^(
Yeah, he dropped the act at 9:11. Any other timestamps ya'll have noticed? My sister is special needs, and all her classmates were as well. There are no moments like this where the demenor suddenly changes. This dude is faking it
As a person who has epilepsy since I was 3 and I’ve had brain surgery, bullies , a stroke after the surgery. One does not simply do this shit because or brain trauma it’s because they are a disgusting messed up person
Mental disorders are great excuse to avoid prison. A guy in Canada murdered a sleeping man in the bus, severed his head, then ate parts of the victims body. He only got sent to a mental institute then walked away scot free and changed his identity.
@@WileyCylas I was diagnosed with Epilepsy at age 21, my own family turned against me, I lost a lot of friends, and I even had someone say "Hope your seizures kill you!". To this day the three people who have been my biggest support system since my diagnosis are my grandmother, my best friend, and my doctor. My aunt used to be a great support, but she sadly passed away in 2009. You pretty much learn who your real friends are and who to trust when dealing with such traumatic events.
This guy needs to stop pretending he's not intelligent. It's an insult to people who actually have a learning disability. Lock him up and throw away the key
There is no reason why people should be serving decades or life in prison for dumb crap like weed possesion/distribution while pedophiles get a slap on the wrist and set loose. The likelihood of them reoffending is so high and the harm done is so profound that this really is the one situation were I can get fully on board with harsh carceral punishment.
@Anony Mous man you must be as slow as the guy in the video. There's tons of people all over the world serving decades for weed possesion/distribution. There's multiple states in the US to this day where just possession is a felony and they'll throw the book at you sometimes.
@@DanielleVlog365 exactly disability of any kind is no excuse for this behavior. This is coming from someone with aspergers, adhd, anxiety and tics. My tics aren’t an excuse for me to be like “oops I killed someone” I may accidentally hit someone but never meaningfully or in a way to hurt them, I’m more likely to hit myself or hit the wall or something and hurt myself. And my autism isn’t an excuse for me knowing right from wrong, I know what’s wrong I’m not tucking stupid and almost all adults with autism even nonverbal ones are capable of knowing right from wrong
@@DanielleVlog365 I mean if your disablity is so bad to the point you're hurting little girls you need to be locked up in some capacity anyway. Being disabled doesn't make it not a crime. Not that disability makes you do this anyway this predator is just looking for a way out of jail time.
As a survivor of sorts, it has been very healing watching these two wholesome guys get so angry about these gross predators. I would trust these guys to hold my drink, buff would prolly drink it by accident though.
He uses his health issues to make people feel sorry for him. Its an act. He knows what he is doing. He asked her if she was a cop!!! Why would he ask that if he didn't know.
I would've let him use the bathroom and wait till he tries to escape this way you can add "resisting arrest" to his record and get him in prison for longer
@@lilyphelen8099 I don't think he went to prison the first time. He was jailed for a year. If you get convicted, you can serve up to 2 year - 1 day in jail, more than that it's prison sentence. I'm couple be wrong though, different laws EVERYWHERE.

I love how mad both Ken and Dane get with these dateline videos. Like they’re obviously keeping their cool for the video but, especially Ken being a father, you can tell they want a piece of every one of these guys 😂
I'm thinking he did this way more than twice. Since it seems like he didn't learn his lesson the last time I have a strong feeling he's done this several other times. My concern isn't how many times he was actually caught but how many times he's done it without getting caught
Hansen: “So why did you send pictures of yourself like this to her?” His mind: “*Okay, I gotta say something real smart here to make it seem like I’m not a predator.*” What he says: “OOPS.” You can tell he thought about it.
This is the most outrageous thing about the law. Predators only spend a couple weeks or months in prison and after that they're out looking for victims again •sigh•
It also sucks that it takes so long to get convicted. They are supposed to have all computers/phones confiscated from them, they aren't supposed to have access to internet and there are a couple other stipulations that are supposed to lead to additional charges if they access those things unsupervised. But still, it's quite easy to hook up a cellphone with a phony name and just use the data. Way to easy to repeat-offend if you don't have somebody watching you 24/7.
He wasnt out of prison, he was awaiting trial. Trails dont just happen overnight. We have to give prisoners enough time for their attorneys to prepare for trial. He was out on bail. He most likely sentenced to years in prison the very next day for the FIRST charge. Later he will receive even more time. He should of never been given bail and if he did he should of been given an ankle monitor. Not really a fault of the system and more of a problem with that judge. Having said that America has more prisoners than any other country. We need to stop arresting people for drug possession so we can start focusing on these kind of issues.
@@Nick-kw9oz only druggies think arresting druggies is bad. And considering you said "should of" multiple times, you've definitely lost some brain cells.
Dude I have a lot of sympathy and time for disabled people, but ANYONE who poses a danger to society especially kids is fair game to torch. Predators are sub-human and we should treat them as such. And if any predator reading this is offended by what I am saying, please meet up with me so we can have a little chat.
@@philj8205 you have a point some people who have those kinda thoughts are going to therapy so they can become regular people in society before they do something they regret
Lol, you think that was his lawyer? I was shocked when Ken and Buff thought so as well. How can anyone misconstrue that? They gave a statement from his lawyer, and the cut to the guy was obviously someone on the law enforcement side or the prosecutor, responding to the lawyer's statement. Fuckin defense attorneys can't be saying shit like that to the public. Do you realize how quick shit would hit the fan and probably cause a mistrial? A defense attorney throwing his client under the bus is a big time no no.
Chris Hanson only told him he could leave the house, not where he was going to. lmao, it's funny seeing their face like "Oh shit, am I getting away with this?"
Lack of impulse control. Very common after brain injuries to a specific part of the brain (prefrontal cortex) unfortunately. The urge would probably be there without the injury, but the ability to control himself has likely been severely hindered.
I’ve had massive brain trauma and died twice wtf with these people using brain damage as an excuse?! My motor functions need some work and my memory isn’t the best but I have never even nearly become a pedo sooo
It's happened before..just gotta keep a careful watch on them or something. Sucks what you've been through, though, I hope things are getting better with your situation.
I’m just waiting for the day they catch Big Ed or Colty on one of these shows...please sir I just wanted to get my noodle wet. They need to have Kay’s cooking cater their prison food.
Hi psych major here! The reason they mention the scar and the injury when he was an infant is because the majority of pedophiles typically had some sort of head trauma that resulted in unconsciousness under the age of 6. Brain scans have confirmed that their brain didn’t fully develop because of that injury. We assume that everyone knows better than to get with a minor but some experts argue that they either don’t know better or simply can’t change who they are attracted to. (Messed up Ik) There has been studies performed through classical conditioning, the pedo would be showed a picture of a child & then would be given a very unpleasant stimulus to train the brain to associate that unpleasant stimulus when they see a child. Unfortunately there hasn’t been enough studies done to know how effective this treatment is.
Thanks for sharing thats actually really interesting that there has been studies done to understand this behavior. I am curious if its a defense in court though? He said "Oops" both times indicating he has some knowledge that what he's doing is wrong. Not expecting you to know just a thought. 🤔 We'll have to find a lawyer in the comments and ask them. 😄
@@Ktakahashi18 you’re welcome! yeah the fact that he said oops he obviously knows he was in the wrong, so the psychopathologist in me would assume that he simply just can’t change or hasn’t received any treatment to help him change. I’d assume his defense in court would be weak af.
@@prettysedated I thought is was oopsy I picked another decoy and met Chris Hansen not oops I know I did wrong and feel guilt for my actions oops I got caught
Every time I see a to catch a predator episode or clip I always think about the South Park episode where multiple predators show up and start blowing their brains out as soon as they see Chris.
There is obviously something wrong with him, and I've seen people with brain injuries and brain cancer who have turned into a completely different monster. But the one thing that stands out is that he was asking if she was a cop, so he knows right from wrong.
People are out there being arrested, serving years years in jail/prison, but this fool is out running loose, along with many more predators.. 😳 😳 😳 😳 how many lives has he ruined before all this. He obviously knows right from wrong! Oops... Makes me so mad! Thanks for getting his face out there!

And I live in a facility for mentally unstable and vulnerable - doesn't mean we get to break laws and ignore rules within society/community. People attracted to kids have the option to get treatment, just as everyone else with mental/biological imbalance. The ones that opt out and set out to abuse deserve the consequence of victimizing others - no excuse will make it okay to boink kids.
What pisses me off, is that he's classed as having no mental health issues, because he knows what he's doing. But, if he knows what he's doing, and still do it, WHY isn't that a mental health issue!!? Instead of being treated for the rest of their lives, they go to jail and get out in notime. The laws are clearly protecting the wrong person.
Yeah but he is still doing something heinous. I agree with you though that it shouldn't just be jail time. They should also have to go through a few years of mental treatments. It should be mandatory along with the jail sentence.
@@missshady1760 I'm saying people like that should be treated for mental health issues, for life. Never let them go back to society without someone watching them 24/7.
Stupid is not a mental health issue. There is no cure for dumb. No amount of treatment will ever fix that. He targets 13 year olds because 16+ are too smart to fall for his bs. They know loser when they see loser....
Normally I am against sting operations because they skirt the line between legal and straight up entrapment, but in the case of these scumbags I have no problem.
@@Nuibuddy Actually it very much does fit the definition. While it isn't considered entrapment *legally* that's simply because legally and morally are two completely different words. Something can be completely immoral but legal or moral but illegal. For instance, slavery was completely immoral but legal at one point in time in America. Abortion for convenience related purposes is completely immoral but is still legal. When the police set up a sting operation they involve themselves in illegal activity but for a good cause. For instance, a police officer posing as a drug dealer. They have the drugs on them, and that's possession. They sell those drugs to someone, and money is exchanged. That's distribution and sale of an illegal narcotic. If they didn't have that badge what they would be doing would be completely *illegal*. I can't go around selling drugs and expect to get away with it, but police officers can given certain circumstances. Pawning it off as something that is isn't doesn't help anyone. The police commit crimes in order to catch other criminals, and that quite frankly is the definition of hypocrisy. The reason I don't have a problem with them doing it in these instances is because pedoophiles are pieces of human garbage, and I don't really care about something being immoral if it causes them to no longer be able to harm children.
@@Nuibuddy The fact that you think that was me telling you that you were right speaks volumes about what kind of person you are. The fact that you lie about not reading the entire reply, but judge what I have said anyway is also very telling of what kind of person you are. Have you ever heard of the Dunning Kruger Effect? I'll dumb it down for you for your benefit. The Dunning Kruger Effect is basically where someone who is an idiot, and *wrong* on a certaion subject, believes themselves to be *right* and their stupidity and arrogance doesn't allow them to see just how wrong they are. In short you are too stupid to realize you are too stupid.
@@Nuibuddy Oh and one more thing about your first reply, If a person sees a crime being committed but doesn't report it, that is a crime in and of itself. In some cases you can even be charged with aiding and abetting, or conspiracy after the fact. So not only were you *wrong* about entrapment, but you were also wrong about facilitating.
I had seizures most of my childhood and have a scar in the exact same place from brain surgery at 14. I'm not a pedophile. These are no excuses for his behavior
My father worked as a sexual health teacher for disabled individuals, as my brother is autistic. There are resource out there to inform people with mental disabilities and the caregivers about appropriate behavior. Being differently able does not give someone an excuse.
0:41 Buff’s eyes are always perfectly expressing what Ken is saying during this bit. Every word gets its own perfect eye expression. Perfect eye language.
As if being caught or getting jail time is going to change anything. They're still gonna feel attracted to kids until the day they die, they can't change that. These people just gotta be locked up permanently or kept an eye on for the rest of their life
