Yours and another comment got me to wondering whether a revive pvp necro with like, souls and undead dolls or some other hilarious combo would actually be viable. Hope someone trys it
You know if so many things are considered BM, the game itself isn't meant for competitive play. If you lose in PvP D2, there is no need to be angry. If you win, there is no need to gloat. PvP in D2 is just for fun.
This is how it usually went whenever I was outclassed by someone: 1. Before dying, leave the game 2. Log in with another character into the same game 3. Accuse the other person of using bugged/hacked items/bought account etc, basically talk shit 4. Lose again 5. Leave game, another character 6. Quit the game
Might I suggest adding another step between 5&6? Go to any and all forums, subreddits, social media and video stream platforms and talk about about X build is broken OP.
@Coooley, I'm curious if you ever play D3 or have paid any attention to DI. Emphasis on the word "paid". I'm not familiar with ur history with blizzard or other blizzard games. If you are paying attention to DI I would be interested to hear your thoughts on where the company is headed

God I love D2 PvP and i hope the community gets into it. Nothin makes you want to grind more than seeing an unstoppable barbarian or druid. Or those sorcs that are freaks of nature

Yeah. Summons and many other things were a no go. Played for many years Pvp in Public games mostly and like everyone would consider merc or any kind of summon bm. Only exception was like an oak sage if both players were fine with it.
Druid still loses to zon, sin, esfb, especially with pools, right? But yes, buffing an already S tier class was dumb af. It's match ups that used to be favored but skill based are now nearly un-loseable
Pretty sure blizzard doesn't think about PvP when buffing or nerfing classes, so it wasn't dumb, they just don't care about PvP since its still more of a niche thing that majority of the player base doesn't take part in.
@@Coooley I went against a Druid being a Javazon. It’s was easy to shoot them with one bolt from lighting furry, kills all animals and sends Druid into hit recovery. Few pokes and done. I’m confused at how this build is good when my character is primarily pvm not pvp.
Ele druid was the first character I got to 98 never got to 99 my account was hacked and drained of all items. I remember having 140% fcr i didnt have a fcr amulet or rings all I remenver was I loved playing that druid... I miss D2. I need a new pc mine blew up. All I wanna play is D2R and Baldurs Gate 3. ):

I have duelled a few decent ele druids with my ele/phys chargerdin and it actually works quite well. just keep within distance and burn down summons with auras, then with the right timing as he's trying to resummon stuff you can charge in and out. after a while he will get tired of resummoning stuff, that's when you can pick away at his life with well timed charges. if he tries to telestomp you immediately up-charge to damage and get away from him. With cold absorb gear a bit of dr and a bit of practice you can take them down.

An eSportsman will certainly not get tired that easily, especially not in such short PvP battles as are common in D2. Ever seen how in other games, like Starcraft for example, people spend hours with APM beyond 300. They don't get tired either.

Sup Coley! Since, I play windy druid ever since i know myself, i recently made Fire druid with phoenix on etc., hence would you suggest if Fire druid might be able to fit somehow the pvp arena?
I am planning to equip a PvP blizz sorc after ladder 1. Are they still godly like they were in D2 LOD? Or should I consider the PvP wind druid instead? Time for another tier list of PvP characters?
@@HatredLLC No way, a there were Amazons with guided arrow that could take down sorcs because that guided missile was wicked. I also remember high geared barbarians standing a decent chance when they managed to leap on top of a sorc or amazon.

Always amazed at how proficient yall are at CT teleporting under pressure. I finally got good enough to use it in pvm and actually be faster in some instances but it still takes me a few tries to get it most of the time lol
Yo blizzard figure out a way to let me play d2 on my phone with everybody. If you do you will make $$$ because I've been seeing a lot more ppl interacting on phone arpg forums recently and I can only imagine it's folks like me that don't have another way to play d2 atm and are fiending for some loot and pvp action
I dont get this, isnt druid always known as the best duel class? It's just busted because they dont balance this game for pvp at all? Very non-competitive.
I wonder what D2 PvP would be like without TP. Duels just look like abunch of nonsense with it, but I guess the dmg numbers get so high and the hp numbers so low relative to dmg that each fight would be like 2 seconds.

Just recently started the dudu for pvp! Still getting used to the tele stomp and trying to chainlock. Harder than it looks lmao, but that hurricane is dope. Creates an fhr animation that allows that small window to tele stomp!
Cooley, would be nice If you would create a troll PVP character: Overlord Summoner. Just get some Revives ( Ogres and Souls) Skellys on mass and a Pride Golem. Did this back in the days and was allways fun

@@Promethuus It can be fixed. It's a stupid requirement for competitive dueling and puts limits on accessibility and build diversity. You seem so offended over a comment judging from the attitude.
@@jeronp420 I’m not offended at all there is no getting rid of enigma 🤷🏻♂️and before enigma it was all sorcs in pvp and it was an extremely slow game. There are ladder on jsp for duels that you are looking for man also you may want to look into the low level dueling community both of these may help you find the kind of duels your looking for. GL
