The open beta feels like a 1980s arcade. People roaming around finding people to play against…. It’s been a blast!!

I started laughing when I checked each character Versus screen and Juri was like "THERE IT IS That's what you want you freaks"

The last street fighter I played religiously was alpha 3. After spending over 2 hours on this Beta I was sold and pre ordered the game. It’s so much fun to play!

I don't know about anyone else, but SF6 just feels soo good and I'm actually having fun despite going 0-X for hours straight. Unlike SF5 were all I feel is frustration. Can't even play an hour without feeling like I have to put the game down. Despite how many chances I've given SF5. So I'm really happy that I'm enjoying SF6.

I have to admit, the ost sounds great when it's in the background of actual fights. When you listen to the songs on their own, some of them fall flat but they really shine during game play

Playing the open beta as a new player, I am currently 10-100 with Kimberly with some close fights to not even close. Having a blast despite getting my tail handed to me. Although it’s kind of demoralizing at the same time lol.

As someone who hasn't played a Street Fighter game since SF4 in 2014, the demo and beta of SF6 were so refreshing to me. I got my ass handed to me so many times today, but the game kept a smile on my face. So excited for the full game!

This open beta got me to finally cave in and try a FG online… And damn, man, it’s SO fun! Originally I had planned to focus on World Tour and playing friends, but now I’m sticking around for sure!

Still can't believe we're so close to a new Street Fighter game

I love the background and character stuff so far in this game. I actually hope Damnd is playable. I also like how both Ken and Ryu are ascetic in this game, but while Ryu is that way by choice, Ken was forced into it and now has a choice - to let it consume him (probably what JP wants) or to learn from it and remember where he came from and use it to live better (more along Ryu's path).

Street Fighter never clicked with me so I have to say THANK YOU CAPCOM for modern controls. OMG, I'm actually playing the game of combos, grabs, parries, supers, meters, spacing, etc. etc. etc. instead of being effing frustrated at the controls because of not being able to DP consistently. I'm massively impressed with this game and I actually want to play and learn this, - a fossil of a former smash melee competitive player.

The Ryu army is out in full force in this beta.

Love Ken’s theme so much. Really captures that SF vibe perfectly and makes the matches feel hype.

Good time to be into fighting games

I started playing SF5 three months ago, and then the demo since it's been out. Now my day 1 Guile smoked a modern control Luke. This game is fucking amazing! 😍

Anyone worried about Max having an advantagewith how much time he's had with SF6, do not worry. He's been a part of two Closed Betas and gotten to go to Capcom HQ to try the full game build, and he still needs some time to remember how to play his main in the Open Beta. Edit: And that's not a diss. There's been a bit of time between those betas and now. And the Capcom HQ stuff was an overview pretty much.

Can’t wait to see more of this game, always love Max’s energy and enthusiasm for videogames! Hopefully we’ll see a group stream or play maybe.

I've been having such a great time learning matchups and getting back into Street Fighter. I haven't played since the early days of SFV and I gotta say, the online has been excellent in my experience. It feels like I'm playing locally and I'm on a PS5.

Haven’t had a chance to play the beta yet, but just watching this game is delicious! The graphics, sound , and style has me craning my neck down to look at my phone like I’m 8 years old and back at the mall arcade trying to see around a crowd gathered around a SF2 cabinet! What is it about this game that feels special!

This game looks amazing. I won't be able to play the Beta but this will probably be the first SF in a long time I'll be all in on. Especially with new modern controls. They have finally answered my prayers 🙏🏿🙏🏿

i am enjoying this way too much i recently rly got into street figher and having soo much fun playing finaly got to play Juri in SF6 done some battles against others... got into battles with rly good players and enjoyed that a lot getting beat and finally getting a match point from them was a good feeling ... also nice that good players stay and rematch its good learning material for newer players who can handle getting beat down a lot ...

Imagine if this SFVI was SFII in the arcade back in the 1990s. Imagine how the world would have reacted ✨

ngl, ive tried sfv but quickly gave up because it just seemed too hard and i've never been a fighter game kind of guy but after playing this open beta this game is extremely fun especially with the new modern controls

the ending transition video from Ken to cartoon Dood is smooth

The early skill gap in this game is going to be nuts, especially with the shoto players who grinded the hell out of every beta and the demo

Played a lot of luke in demo, and i wanted to try jamie for the beta, holy shit this game is so much fun. Im very happy with how playable it is even at very high ping(im from south africa) i hope there is a normal ranked search also and not just lobbies but i cant complain, i really love it right now

This game feels like it's for the community, I'm having so much fun with the battle hub, win or lose the game is enjoyable

The game is amazing so far. Played with the commentary ans never looked back. It feels too reminiscent of sf4. This game has so many options for many different things. It’s such a great, refreshing game.

The only fighting game I ever played was FighterZ. I put 20 hrs into the open beta and preordered today, could not believe how much fun I was having and how smooth it all was for a beta.

I loved every single moment of this beta. I played jamie 99% of the time, and enjoyed the hell out of it! even when i was getting the crap beat out of me, i was doing it with a smile on my face. This is going to be my new favorite fighting game.

I'm having a blast playing this open beta! I'm new into the fighting game scene and I'm trying to get the mechanics and the controls down but I'm having a bit of a hard time doing so and figuring stuff out

i've run into so many pros on MK11 that i'm kind of hoping i'll run into you on SF6. i'm not good by any means but it always makes me happy that i run into people that are ridiculously good at the game.

I love the new drive system. It gives every player the option to control the pace of the game anyway they want to if used right

This is the first streetfighter game I've touched since SF2 turbo, I've played a little bit of third strike, but like.... maybe 4 hours across 10 years lmao. This game feels great though I'm a little overwhelmed with the new meter and how the functions of it work. The classic buttons FEEL great. I never have messy inputs, I wanted to play SFV and I went into training on it a long time ago and was just practicing some combos, man my DP's were not working. SFVI? Been well over a year since I touched a FG and I can DP all day. The games just so smooth. Outside grab animations being lightning fast and the parry->rush button being a little weird to adjust, I think it will be a massively rewarding experience overall.

Hey Max! Have you mapped any buttons to the extra 2 fight stick buttons? Or are you using stock?

I love ST and 3rd but a SF4 guy at heart. After playing the beta im getting the feeling 6 can be the best. So so much fun. Is there anything more satisfying in a fighting game than drive impacting someones raw drive impact?! 😊

I started maining Ken and had multiple matches. Went down to the wire with a chun li player for 27 matches. I won around 51% of those matches. I then went against a Juri player, won twice and she promptly blocked me from requesting matches with her. 10/10 best experience

I disappointed that the only servers close to my location had high lag. I hope when it get a full release that in my region we get a regional server

My first experience with street fighter was back on 360 with the Street Fighter 2 Demo. And then I never touch FGs for a LONG TIME, now it's time to get into some FGs, and SF6 is a great place to start.

From the very 1st time I played SFV when it first came out, it didnt feel right at all. The 1st time playing the demo of SF6 it felt so fresh!

I was up at 3am eastern time for the launch and it was rough at first with tons of error messages. Didn't help that I simply wanted to do training with characters other than Luke & Ryu, so, whenever it didn't break, I'm forced into a match I wasn't ready for 🤣

This game is something that I had such a hard time finding in V. It is FUN. SFV was a pretty good game once it all came together but this game is enjoyable. It's fun. It doesn't feel like a job to play.
