Its calfskin brother , the hard genuine is actually treated for toughness to last. Real good genuine actually softens up and still keeps that toughness. I do like these new covers BUT I'm concerned that they are to thin, I can see these wearing through over time . For now its nice but I want to see these in 5 to 10 years LOL😉 Your 85 has the good paper that's the one everyone looks for to rebind the opacity was excellent. My 1988 large print has very nice paper but bad ghosting in places but I still LOVE IT. Dude you are pointing things out that I'm saving for my ESV wide margin about certain things that I've been thinking about, huge changes in my taste with bibles.
Man Another bible I would like to have in my collection. Based on you short review the other day I ordered the CSB Ancient Faith Study Bible, Brown Cloth-Over-Board as it will be helpful to have the ancient notes from the early church Fathers in my ministry classes.
Brock Childers yes. KJV does that italicization of inserted words. I want a premium nkjv thinline and a tbs Westminster KJV. I have premiums but that tbs. wow
