Through the Art Exhibition "Icons on the ammo boxes" we tell about the Russian invasion to Ukraine. On Dec 8 it is started its journey in the UK from Oxford, where it was firstly hosted by @UniversityChurch and now it is moved to London and hosted by St.John's Notting Hill Church. The exhibition was opened on 21st of February, 2023 and will stay in the Church unless 4th of June, 2023.
The icons are painted by Ukrainian Artists Sofiia Atlantova and Oleksandr Klymenko - the couple that support the mobile hospitals in Ukraine working on a front line since 2014 through this project. Being painted on the ammo boxes that were the participants of the war, all boxes are the witnesses of the war. And in the same time give the hope through their new life of icons.
The exhibition is devoted to our colleague, Semen Oblomei who sacrificed his life, defending Ukraine.
It is possible to buy the icons and thus to donate to the purchase of ambulances and the medical appliances. Please see the reference to the list of available icons: docs.google.com/presentation/...
It is possible to support the purchase of ambulances and the medical appliances via the direct donation through Justgiving platform: www.justgiving.com/fundraisin...
We collect the funds through the British Ukrainian Aid, UK Charity.
