sorry just asking if the humans weapon is not limited what will you chose then, assuming you could chose where to fight and you are also armed,besides no ammo limit and i will have preparing time about 3 to 4 hours. in that case i will chose human and eagle i will arm the human with 50 cal machine gun and i will arm my self with grenade launcher assume i will chose a island which is 1 km from shore, animals need to cross the water i will quickly setup a MG nest and i will have a small platform to observe situation. first i could clearly see the surroundings and call the MG to dispatch the larger animal from 1 km distance the eagle will harassed the rats crossing the open water, the crocodile have to go on land to attack me but will be mow down by machine gun fire . i will try and shoot the rat pack once distance close to 400 meters which will quickly kill them because of the shock wave produce my the impacting grenade but also the frags. when the distance closed up to 100 m there will be no large animals left but only rats at this time the eagle will start to attack them and also backup with MG and grenade launcher. this process will grind the enemies man power to zero and so i win

Lenfox420 LOAF Maybe if the bull weren’t fighting at least a hundred rats at once, that might work, but crushing a few in its way wouldn’t kill more than a few dozen in a few minutes. That and well collectively a few hundred rats are going to start weighing a lot when they’re able to cling on to any animal, which will immobilise the target to allow for easy attacks on the eyes and digging into skin.
You could put all the other choices against them and they would still win. 10 000 frenzied rats are just an unstoppable tide of razor teeth. And if you give them the "Black plague" or "Warpstone" status it's just gg.
I like how arguably a much bigger factor in this isn't "who would you want on your team?", but rather "who would you want to NOT be on the enemy team?"
@@Stormwern Have you SEEN rats or eagles? Rats are only topped by probably Lions and Wolfs in speed and maybe Cattle but they have insane acceleration and their top speed is faster than most candidates in this list so Rats would be pretty OP
Guys, I looked it up. A rat's top speed is eight miles per hour. Everything on this list can run faster than a rat with the exception of the crocodile. And even the croc can run faster in short bursts.
The idea of being some mercenary hunter type having been hired by some weird eccentric millionaire to participate in a competitive manhunt, hunting alongside trained gorillas and lions, only to be swarmed by literal thousands of rats is the best mental image provided by this.

Swarming is a game-breaking ability. Every build that can team up with hundreds, or thousands of it's kindis OP. A swarm of locusts was one of the 10 plagues of Egypt, a swarm of ants can reduce a body to bones in a couple hours, a stampede of wildebeast killed Mufasa.
Yep. Swarming is extremely hard, if not impossible, to balance because how chaotic the relation between number of minions and their effectiveness can be.

One statistic I’ve heard tossed around is that if you are going on the offensive against any sort of position that give the defender an advantage, it is a melee only fight, and things like equipment are all roughly equal, you want to outnumber the defender three to one at minimum - that way, even the top-tier defenders get outnumbered and taken down, simply because the third guy can kill the defender while he’s busy blocking, dodging, or pulling the weapon he just used to kill the first two attackers out of their bodies; note that such an occurrence is down to RNG and the attackers still can get kills in two on one and even one on one scenarios, it’s just that three is the minimum for eliminating at LOT of statistical variability in this scenario. This numerical advantage proceeds to snowball and help overcome the defensive buffs the defenders receive from terrain, letting the attackers win. Note, again, this is with roughly equal equipment on both sides, with the combatants being at minimum roughly average examples of the human species. Results will change when accounting for: non-human stat pools (stuff like goblins, elves, and dragons complicate the meta massively, as does the magic such races usually come with) Strategic maneuvers (collapsing numerous walls via undermining or siege weapons removes a lot of the defenders buffs, as does making bridges over moats and pits). And RANGED ATTACKS change the equation completely, as the possibility of witiling the other side down before a melee battle happens shifts numbers in unpredictable ways, with the defenders being able to remove the attackers number advantage with enough time, and the attackers being able to reduce the number of buffed up defenders they need to cut through to get the win.
The rats always immediately appeared to me as the most valuable option. Ten thousand is so much larger than every other group size that it almost seems like a joke.

What weapons even rats have, when they have only mouth for eating small insects, while ants have the sting to hurt you, if you make them mad.
Yeah assuming you can actually control and coordinate all your animals you'd only need like...5000 rats to devour the bears. And then you gotta find something to do with your other 5000 rats....
Lion they have low hp and the bear has a thick hide. And you want him to die outright, not days later. I’d say at least 1000 per bear or you’ll run out of rats before you fight the gators.
Rats being high tier choice is a bit of a joke. Watch some ratting vids on youtube. small jack russels kill hundreds of them within hours. Wolves plus human is the best choice using hit and run tactics. Both have the highest stamina in the game, the wolves can distract and meat wall for the human to pick off the biggests threats like bears, lions and bulls which have the highest burst speed and damage output. which leaves the eagles(harrassers but weak AF), crocs(big hitters but slow AF), Gorillas(big hitters but slow AF) and rats(low hitters but swarming and slow). Id personally try the leave the rats for last. 15 wolves would make short work of 10,000 rats.... Every fight must be hit and run.
i think the human and the rats would be best. if you give the human a shotgun with birdshot and a large caliber rifle then he can take out the eagles with the shotgun and then transition to his stopping rifle to assist the rats in taking out some of the tougher animals.

You can also make the eagles pick up your rats to throw at enemies further away before the ealges go for the eyes, causing a first wave of dropped rats to disrupt the enemy before your giant rat wave hits.
Assuming one eagle can carry one rat in each of their talons, this means that 100 rats will be dropped onto the enemies before the remaining 9,900 moves in. Since there’s a total of 35 enemies, that means each of them will be disrupted by nearly 3 rats. This won’t do much, but adding the eagles, now each enemy is dealing with 3 rats and at least 1 eagle. Some will have to deal with multiple eagles at the same time.
The rats are a puzzle to be sure, but if you just have the 50 eagles carry you away you should be able to evade capture nearly indefinitely. That way you can choose the other human so you won't get lonely...
you gotta choose the human or else he shoots you down while the eagles carry you, also what about the eagle claws piercing you? unless you got a lot of clothing on yourself
It all hinges on the degree of control you have over your defenders. The rats of course are a mandatory choice, no matter what... But unless you are able to direct the eagles to preemptively attack the human as a specific target, then the human will probably escape the eagles attention until it is too late.
...........? Did you scroll back up to look at the numbers again before you said that....? Rats aren't the only populated choice, there are 50 of those birds. If you also picked the rats there are only 45 other combatants total. You're assuming the birds will just attack any old thing which is fine to assume, except there are more birds than every other non rat choice combined sssoooooooooooooooo............ are you assuming birds tend to attack in groups....? Do you think two birds are going to go Goku Freeza in the ToP and dive at the eyes of an animal in tandem....? If the human is a legit proshot gunslinger than it's possible they get you two seconds after the match starts no matter what happens, but assuming you have even a few solid moments before they can target you either because of terrain, starting locations or old poor condition weapon [or a few seconds of "alright let's g- holy sh!t that's a lot of rats"], it's pretty reasonable to assume that one of those birds is going to find it's way to the human in WELL under a minute from start time. There are 50 of them. And none of the remaining opponents are even animals particularly good at attacking aerial opponents, though a few are certainly large enough to shrug off any slashes that aren't to critical body parts, so it's not even like their numbers are going to drop quickly, you're going to have 50 birds for at least a little while unless a bear gets a lucky timed swipe or the human gets one or two good shots tops (in which case you started with 5 more birds than opponents anyway) As far as I can tell "they will defend you" implies a supernatural degree of understanding of the task at hand from the animals but not that you have full on conscious control over them or else why not say they are under your command or something, "they will defend you" implies they know you're the objective and they are willing to lay their life down for you but it does nothing to imply they can take your commands. So as far as I can tell the answer to that is no. ...but again, there are 50 birds. Who cares.? There is one bird for every other combatant at the start of the match plus five extra birds. The human is getting targeted early game just by sheer maths, my dude. To be clear yea obviously this is all headcanon and anything could happen. ...But it's 50 birds v 45 other animals. ....All of those other animals are getting attacked early by a bird no matter what you do brah
Let's assume the rats'll just swarm anything in their way, but you can perform specific general commands, like have all the eagles target the human first. Even without that, the human still wouldn't have enough skill, even as a Navy SEAL, to defend against FIFTY EAGLES
The thing about "200 rats per combant" is that it'll quickly become " *at least* 200 rats per combatant." Each enemy that falls is going to leave rats to reinforce all the other rat gangs, and even the *very* implausible casualty rat of 50% still leaves an extra hundred rats to help. Not only would the attacker's best animals have to beat 200 rats, which already feels impossible, they'll have to pick up the slack for everyone else. And I think it's quicker for 200 rats to beat one animal than vice versa, so have fun with those swarm tactics.
Furthermore its not just the rats they have to fight, its the rats plus whatever else the other pick is. Figthing the swarm while simultaneously being attacked from the air or being shot at is not fun.
i picked rats obviously because 10 FUCKING THOUSAND is alot god damn rats. and really the other pick is just for moral support. so excluding rats id pick... wolves and either gorillas or crocs. depending on if i know the environment ahead of time. i think gorillas could easily deal with lions if not " easily" would be more the able to with wolf support. also am I allowed to fight as well? or am i just sitting idle also can i give commands and coordinate?
Also the eagles could take the gun then give it to you. Know you have 10,000 rats 50 eagles AND a ranged insta kill weapon, yes everyone can dodge but they will also be stuck in the rats so you can shoot them
@@m3lvn415 There's no indication that they misunderstood. In practice it's almost the same anyway. 1 human + gun and all the other animals vs 1 human + 10,000 rats and 50 Eagles. The remaining animals won't be protecting the armed human, but they're on the same team.

@@m3lvn415 What are you on about? 1000 rats is like a sea of rodents. They'd scare off anything with eyes or ears. They could literally gnaw off their flesh and bone faster than they could move. Rats are terrifyingly omnivorous. Plus, regardless of whether I'm used to using a gun or not, 10% accuracy is better than 0%, with no gun at all.
Honestly, eagles and rats are the only viable option on most terrains. They would both be impossible to fight, so you need them on your team. The eagles could probably just claw everyone's eyes out, allowing the rats to eat them.
Rats and Eagles all day, just by virtue of swarming. People will assume that 10,000 rats and 50 eagles can't coordinate, it's also safe to say that the enemies wouldn't either, but I think it's safer to assume that it will be some sort of battle considering the nature of the question. You will be defended, and the rest will be coming to attack. I'll take my chances with the swarming strat. Always worked for me in games.
I know the cheat code. Play as the human, pick the 50 eagles and 10 crocodiles/5 gorillas. Now, pick the Crazy Cat Lady class which allows you to equip unlimited cats, allowing you to kill every rat.

I went for rats and the human. I figured the rats would incapacitate everything long enough for the human to pick it off. The eagles are a matchup nightmare though as the rats can’t reach them. However I don’t know how to not have the human as he can pick you off right away if he’s not on your team.
This reminds me of rimworld, where you can build your own army of boomrats (a species of rats in that game where they explode if they die) and you just jam them in a room and feed them whatever, let them multiply and let them out once a group of raiders attacks your colony.

Interesting! I was on two out of rats, eagles and human pretty quickly, but I actually thought we'd have to take the human. But I guess at the end of the day, it also comes down to distance and starting points. Even if the eagles see the human before he sees the MVP, whether they can get there and damage him before he hits his shot is questionable. I think in a long-distance flat environment, the human is still extremely viable. It can deal with any of the larger, lower group size threats on it's own provided the field and the distance is large enough, leaving us only to deal with the one large group we didn't pick. But then I also arrived at the problem - there's no way we can take out 10k rats with only 50 eagles, and there's no way we could shield against 50 eagles for long enough unless the rats understood the situation perfectly and decided to form a meat shield or manage to pull off a combined effort of digging to safety. So that's where I was kinda stuck before watching your video.
Bolt action rifle doesn't necessarily one shot anything on the list (including the human) and it's not going to have 100% accuracy. If everything is aware of its target the human isn't getting off more than a dozen shots (and that's generous), which isn't enough to make a dent in the opposition. The question is less "who do you want on your team" as opposed to "who don't you want on the other." Assuming you take the rats (which is a no brainer) if you select the human that means you have to deal with 50 divebombing eagles. You have no chance. On the contrary, with the human on the other team the Eagles + rats can take down the human. As pictured you're looking at roughly 250 rats per animal on the other team which is MORE than enough to obliterate the competition.
@@Hotobu Why not take both the eagles and the human? 10,000 rats is a lot, but each eagle could very easily pick up just one singular rat, fly extremely high, and drop it (or, better yet, eat it). Meanwhile, if you DON'T choose the human, you'll have to worry about getting shot. We have no context about how big the arena is and you surely aren't outrunning a rifle round.

There is no way that an eagle could take out that many rats before 7 charging bulls, 15 wolves, 4 lions, etc. Reach the vip and human. Rats are a must have in any terrain that isn't literal floor is lava (or something equally unfair where only the eagles' ability fly would prevail).

First Last yeah rats were super op in early metas because they could spec into desiese which, during those patches, had no counter. The rats are still really strong today, especially vs the other low intelligence classes.
Agreed. If you don't have the rats on your team, then you're dead no matter what; there is nothing on this list which could possibly defend you from that many of them swarming you simultaneously. Similarly, nothing on this list could deal with dozens of eagles at once. Once you've determined that, everything else on the list is just details.
Yeah, with one being able to cast fear on humans successfully in many instances, 10000 would multiply that effect tremendously guaranteeing 100% hit chance and increasing duration and amplitude, turning it into a stun effect.
Debuffs wouldn't be given enough time to settle in though since the rat players would have a buffet of exp sooner just by taking out targets with repeating bite attacks.
it also occurred to me that, with the sheer number of rats at your disposal, you could probably deal with the threat of the hunter by taking sth like a thousand or five hundred of them off the DPS role and act as a tank role instead, by just forming a giant meat-shield around you
Pointless idea actually. If the sniper knows even approximately where to shoot, 1 bullet can easily cut through a few layers of rat and still kill the VIP. If the VIP can in fact lie down then this is broken and sniper is completely redundant.

If you stack all of them like a swat shield in front of you to cover your entire body from head to toe (considering the rats are around 5 inches in size, thats a wall the width of queen size bed across. Unless the human has a tank he probably wont get through that. And the wall isn’t compromised by getting shot either because they are just a pile of rats you’re hiding behind anyways doesnt matter if they are alive or dead as long as they not dps role
@@_mystic_5653 I mean, this is all correct. However, most US militants come equipped with a hand grenade. I haven't really considered this back then, but now it does appear kind of obvious that pulling a good throw out basically guarantees a kill on the V.I.P.
Animals are rated F to S tier in their environment. So it sounds impossible to choose F tiers and S tiers in the same biome such that F > S, because those animals would already be in contact with each other, and if the F tier could smash the S tier, then the tiers in that biome are wrong. It only seems plausible to do this with invasive species, like maybe an animal that is F tier in one biome could be higher in some other biome. That would be an uncommon occurrence. From what I understand, usually invasive species are already decent tiered generalists (probably at least B) in their own environment and become S tier in the new environment. Probably most F tiers are animals which are poorly specialized, and it would seem unusual for an animal to be better specialized for an environment in which it did not evolve.
I got attacked by a metric ass ton of rats. It was really scarring. Apparently, a neighbor had managed to isolate a huge pack of rats that had been living off of food for cows for quite awhile (I don't know exactly how it worked). Anyways they were all in this metal silo thingy, and had been kept in there for awhile, since he wanted to starve them out. I had the unfortunate experience of being the one to open the door. While it wasn't 10,000 thankfully, there must have been hundreds. Thankfully I was wearing a pretty heavy pair of coveralls, and a heavy fabric jacket, so I didn't get bitten too many times, but rats can be aggressive, really aggressive when they get hungry. I could see why 10,000 rats would be a little OP

They would be op to defend against yes but not to op as a a defender assuming that you are in a open field. since even though 10000 is a huge amount bulls and bears are both pretty quick and quite tanky. swo you would need quite a big distance foe the rats to kill them all before they reach you. (especially since rats would likely not know to focus these targets in particular and they would likley focus whoever is in the front which would probably be the lions and wolves due to there higher mobility than bears and bulls
I figured out that eagles had to be the thing you choose the second I realized that none of the animals would be able to stop them from reaching you and attacking you with their talons
This puzzle pretty much comes down to whether the human's weapon is good enough to deal with 50 eagles. If it is, you pick the human; if not, the eagles.
@@joffles6516 Well, if we're going by what was in the picture, the human had a hunting rifle, which could shoot down maybe a small handful of eagles before they got to me, but I highly doubt they could simultaneously kill 50 eagles and fend off all the other animals coming at it, and once the eagles got in between the human and I, every shot would have a risk of hitting me.
I highly doubt 50 eagles could coordinate well enough to all attack a single target at the same time. Same goes for 200 rats. His S-tier choices are actually F-tier.
rats and the sniper (sniper can oneshot but needs time to reload) the 10,000 rats are meat shields that would last a VERY long time (due to how many there is) allowing time for the sniper to take everything out
50% during the height of the pandemic in like a 3-5 year period. But overall the black plague continued for well over a century so 90% is a feasible amount over that time
90% of the population at any one time maybe, but new people would have been born etc. The average life expectancy was about 30-40 back then, so it would have been about 3 separate pieces of people. the overall down to 30% again
Even if you were to ignore everything good about the eagles you still have to worry about them being your enemy as I don’t think a human could deal with all 50 of them. And no other option has the reach to take them down. I would actually be less worried about the rats attacking me than the eagles however the rats are very good for defense anyways.
Rats are the slowest pick on the whole list. Every other animal can outmaneuver them. They are a horrible pick on an open plain. (They would only be good if you were in a forest or urban environment.)
@@BeetleBuns the objective is not for the attackers to kill every single defender and the human. It's for the attackers to kill the human. Rats have no stopping power against charging bulls or grizzlies. And any large mass of rats can be maneuvered around.
I think the main issue with this challenge is the creator having WILDLY underestimated the rats and eagles. Both of those things are A or S tier in certain metas and the truly insane group sizes kind of overwhelm the issue.
Still, very bad idea not to take the human, he can still one shot you depending on where he is. I'd take the rats and the human. Rats are the absolute top tier, but placing eagles at the same level seems ridiculous imho. In the video, I also disagree that 15 wolves would be more useful than 4 lions, 4 lions can take care of 15 wolves. I don't even think wolves would even risk attacking something like a crocodile in real life, no matter how many they are, their attacks are pretty weak.

@@tysej4 I literally saw a video footage of two male lions beating the crap out of at least 20 hyenas that were attacking them. Weight difference does wonder, and there's 4 of them here.
@@xenotypos And Hyena's are not wolves. They have sharper teeth, stronger bite force. But are all smaller, less cordinated, more cowardly. They don't hunt as wolves do. And a Lion's top speed outdoes a wolf. But by that very same metric of mass a wolf with aid could run circles. That's how wolves deal with bigger prey, they bleed them out. I've seen footage of 4-5 wolves taking out bears, great moose and other such. And they didn't even get hit.

The correct answer is human + crocodiles. Take gun off human, swap clothes. Run away. Enemies approach, kill human, assume job done. Also: free crocodiles.
Nah, the devs said that the Chernobyl radiation event is going to last until 20.0 updates left. And we're only in update 2.18. So yeah make the most of it.
This particular question has always been more of a "what can you afford not to take" thing. The eagles are the only ones with flight, so you have to take them because otherwise you have nothing (other than possibly the human) who can intercept them before they kill you. Similarly, the raw numbers of the rats means that you have to pick them because nothing else on the list can stop them before they get you. Bigger units are also easier to intercept and so are safer to not take, by comparison. The huntsman with the rifle is also an issue, because if he hits, he hits, but one gun can only fire so quickly and so he cannot compete with 50 eagles. You just need to avoid wide open spaces until the hunter is dead.
The rats are bad at defense and can't stop charging tanks like bulls and bears from reaching the human. The eagles can counter rats because they can just keep dive bombing them without taking damage, but obviously that will take a very long time. And unless all 50 eagles are fighting the hunter at once, he can take care of them and then move on to the VIP. The hunter will be just as good at hiding as the VIP if not moreso. The eagles won't immediately know where he is. If they spread out to try to find him they would all be seperated and he can take them out one by one.

@@amiiboacid4785 clearly you're underestimating how large 10000 is. If you take out the vip and just ask which would win the rats would solo all of the animals. Which is why the question is about which you don't want against you, because the rats will just kill everything.
if you can avoid open spaces to evade the human, then eagles are useless to begin with, no reason to take them. just go inside a house or something, pick the human and the wolves. have the human kill the bulls first and the rest becomes useless and the wolves can easily pick off the slow steam of rats that can manage to find their way in, and the others are blocked outside and are easy pickings for the human who will slowly dispatch of all of them.

Brody Krzysiak I dunno. I never really liked them. Basically just a cheesy farming class. Abysmally low stats, boring gameplay and generally frowned upon by most players. Their only redeeming features are their unrivaled reproductive rates which make them so fit for low-effort farming and their low evolution-point cost for upgrades paired with their high evolution point gains from their high reproductive rate. The only ways they can hurt other players are taking up resources they need or poisoning them with their excrements, both of which aren't even actual attacks. In fact most bacterium players actively try to avoid hurting other players as that makes the character's immune system target you, which in many cases will lead to the destruction of your colony. Overall Bacteria are pretty terrible. But if you like them, you do you, I'm not one to judge.
Dr. Eckschwein I don't find them the most entertaining, but I would like to see a professional opinion from tierzoo on a class that is often overlooked.
One bacteria build was solely responsible for an absolutely massive ban that rendered an entire metabolic playstyle impossible in the overworld. I'm talking about the Oxygen Catastrophe. Their numbers are capable of being harnessed for griefing on an unheard of scale.
I feel like this would be a lot more interesting if the human had a flamethrower. It would nerf the human's range by quite a bit, but would also give him a strong aoe attack that doubles as an intimidation debuff against all of the animals on here. It also would serve to make some non-rat builds potentially viable, since rat is way too overpowered in this meta.
@@M4x_P0w3r depending on the scenery, a gun could be absolutely useless, and the human would essentially become a shittier version of the apes. Gotta assume it's just a field with short grass like he said in the video.
@@khalilbarkallah9998 make him extremely slow and still not be able to take out the rat horde? No thanks, in this scenario a flamethrower or bombs would be much more advantageous.
@@khalilbarkallah9998 not really. At least with the flamethrower the human has a way to keep all of the animals at bay since they all gain an intimidate debuff from nearby flames. With the varying heights and hitboxes of the different animals, the human would probably still get overrun at some point.
Ngl, my first thought to this was human and rats. Human to hunt the other animals, and rats swarm YOU so that it's borderline impossible for the other animals to actually get to you because you have a wall of rats hiding your precise location. This, of course, assumes you get a relatively high degree of control over the rats' actions, but literally none of the other options are quite as defensively strong as 2-5 metric tons of rats blocking the enemy

I think this might also depend what you are armed with because humans who have unlocked large aoe effect weapons could potentially deal with rats and eagles but if you are armed with nothing or the same as the human given as an option then the result should remain as rats and eagles
@ Kaiser Wilhelm II It would work just like Self-Destruct, only far more useful because you won't get the "It doesn't affect X" bullshit like in Pokémon. Also, the Black Death happened because european people back then were stupid enough to believe that cats were the ones that carried the Bubonic Plague, not the rats. Therefore, as long there are no cats on the server, rats will reign supreme, even against wolves, bears and lions.

Honestly, it looks like the hunter has a shotgun which makes him somewhat of a counter to the eagles but also drastically lowers his range. Shotgun doesn't matter against 10,000 rats though.
I wouldn't say "drastically" lowers range. If that's not a shotgun, at best, that's a high caliber rifle with no scope. Shotguns have good range, you can hit and kill pretty much anything on this list from 100 yards away except the bears, assuming it's a 12 gauge or larger (or I guess smaller since that makes it bigger?)
@@logantrashh7781 Waterfowl and eagles are two very different birds. You're not accurately hitting raptors from 50 plus yards. I understand shotguns are for more than home defense and close quarters but when compared to high caliber rifle It's not even remotely close. Even if we did call it 100 yards coming from a thousand with a scoped rifle, and I would call that drastic, factor of 10.
A lot of channels have smooth sponsor transitions some occasionally some usually and sometimes you won’t even notice the sponsor. However there are still non smooth transitions out there.
I heard there is a new build on the way that will be on a tier all its own, completely changing the meta. In fact, it may make all other builds obsolete. Do us organic builds need to worry about this upcoming 'AI' build?
Indeed, if it doesn't get nerfed on time, it could wipe out all of the other builds. I've heard only the human build may stand a chance, but only if it attacks it in its infancy.
Honestly I think it's often underestimated how hard it is to develop the intelligence stat. It easy to over estimate a builds intelligence stat, when it's capable of abilities that you can't master. But that doesn't mean it outclasses you, or is even capable of that. Also keep in mind that it took the devs billions of years to really get the intelligence stat out there, so I don't think the human build will be able to replicate that any time soon. Now you might argue that their method of using evolution points was randomized and slow. But to that I'd counter, that the method we're using is equally randomized. And that the devs were working in a vastly more diversivied environment, that's really beneficial to developing a generalized intelligence. So the only threat I see the AI build may pose for the organics, is that they'll further buff the human build. And seeing as the human build is already breaking the meta, that may very well backfire on them.
@@rutger5000 You provide a rather solid argument, however I wouldn't say the efforts done in developing AI are random at all. Not only that but it seems that, unlike organics, it could grow to the point of becoming effectively unnerfable.
+Alfredo Alfaro. Well random is a simplification. But the AI building process does share a lot of features of the evolution mechanic that you find outside. I neither of these processes are truly random, but changes to the build are being made. Without actually knowing what the effects will be, if the change proofs beneficial, then it gets incorperated in new builds. Seriously though. The intelligence stat of AI can only exceed that of human builds in very specific tasks. Tasks that they can only learn as a support class from the humans. There's very little evidence to suggest they could ever develop the general intelligence that would be required to be an independent build. If you look in outsides previous runs. Then you see that every new build has the potential to dominate the server, if things go exactely their way. But usually that doesn't happen. That being said AI will proof to be one of the strongest support classes for the human builds, and they can easily be employed for things that will harm the human build.
Before watching the video, I picked rats and crocodiles, assuming I'd be able to pick my battleground (they're coming to kill me, after all, if I go somewhere else they either follow or don't kill me). I didn't realise the birds were so large, since I didn't recognise them. I might reconsider to pick the birds, given that. Also, rats are an obvious pick. Nothing else hard-counters them, so you have to pick them just to not have them against you.
This channel might be relatively recent, but we know nothing about was his IRL job is, and for all we know he has multiple dead alt accounts on youtube. You'll notice that his sponsorships are of a similar quality and tone of his videos, which is pretty darn good. He no doubt writes and reads the scripts the same way.
I imagine it'd be pretty varied, considering the widespread nature of the suburban zones. It would also lean heavily towards any of the builds that humans come to consider "cute" because otherwise, humans begin to exterminate them. And then there's cockroaches.
