I remember going to see the orb in Manchester in the early 90s and the venue was full. I remember a wide eyed bucket hatted youth coming up to me and saying in amazement "can you believe how many people love the orb" i remember hugging him and looking him in the eye and saying "YES"
That mix of Plateau sounds like a space horror film, love it....hope this gets an official release from the orb one day....this is a remarkable x2cd live set....

I'm loving this, wow Plateau sounds amazing 🙂I wonder if Thrash was part of these live gigs as i know he got pissed off with live/touring stuff and i think he was still around in 93 recording wise. Does anyone know?
@@1orbfan got it ... i'm wondering if any of these particular recordings were also used on the 2-cd set of Live 93 ... i know some were included from Tokyo...
Electronic music often seems so homogenized now...not free and creative like the Orb in the 90's. Everything has to fit into its weirdly named, super specific. sub-sub-genre. So much cool stuff happened. Aphex Twin, Portishead, Massive Attack, The Orb, FSOL, Front 242...And now it all just so...Formatted.
