Niacinamide is targeted for clogged skin and pores and oil control whereas ascorbyl glucoside serum is for uneven skin tone and spots. So based on your skin concern you can choose... essence will go first then ascorbyl glucoside... simple rule- watery to oily, so all water based products go first then oil/cream based... also the order among same type products for example all water based is decided based on skin concern...

@@gqg741 it is not recommended to be used with niacinamide on The ordinary website. So if you still want to get benefit of both serums use one in morning and other in the evening.

I have been using it for 2 months now. Earlier I used to use Ascorbyl Teraisopalmitate 20% and I was happy with the same. But due to availability issues I stated using Ascorbyl 12% and did not notice any difference. My friends and family do complaint that my face looks darker. I have dry sensitive skin. Should I use it with moisturizer? I do not want to shift from Ordinary products so could you suggest something?

You should always follow up any serum with moisturizer no matter what is the skintype. Please follow it up with moisturizer and sunscreen. like i mentioned this is slightly less potent and with zero irritation product. if your skin is alreeady used to higher percentage then you can give The Ordinary Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution a try... i have also recently ordered that for myself so yet to use it.

You can try a niacinamide serum and vitamin c serum. I also recommend exfoliating once or twice a week to get rid of dead skin cells and white and black heads. You can try chemical exfoliants such as AHA/BHA toners or mild physical exfoliators such as the body shop tea tree scrub or vitamin c scrub.

Ma'm .. When i applied it. It feels tacky on skin. :/ idk why ? Is it because of humid weather or does it really leaves a tacky feelin on skin ??

May be you are using too much product... try to reduce the quantity you are using..even in humid weather the little tackyness if you feel it should go away within 30 secs to a min... I use 2-3 drops(not full dropper) for face and neck...

Fathima, there is a possibility that you are using too uch product. Try using 2 drops first and then see if you need more... This applies for all the products you are using... you really do not need dropper full of product like tiktok or reel videos show :), that is too much product... I hope this helps.

Yes you can use it without mixing... you can use it in day time or night time or both.. start slowly, first do a patch test for 24 hrs, then use any one time alternate day for a week to see how your skin is reacting to it, if everything goes fine start using once every day for a week and then next week increase to twice a day... follow up with moisturizer and in day time use sunscreen. If you notice any irritation during any time, start using it less and give your skin time to adjust.
