I've been able to grow my hair back with liittleextra reactivate hair growth serum. Taken 3 months apart. First one in Jan, second in March. You must apply the serum directly to the scalp and massage into skin with very firm pressure. Do not pull on your hair. The hair coming in seems to be good quality. There's been less hair fall overall. I apply it at night, the serum doesn't make your hair greasy, but you only need a few drops to work - less is more. Additionally, switched pillows cases to satin so that sleep is easier on my hair.
Be careful with vitamin D, unless you actually have a deficiency it can cause you kidney problems among other things. You shouldn't take more than 100 micrograms per day (this is the total amount including the one you get from food). Go to your doctor and they can run a blood test and see which vitamins/minerals you are making and give you a proper supplement
I am 20 and my hair has started to thin around my hairline and at the front of my hair. I know I am not alone, but sometimes it feels that way. I have not tried anything yet, but I am going to see a doctor and hope my hair can come back. I have never been a confident person but seeing all the positive comments makes me feel better. Lots of Love
Hey. I've been loosing so much hair lately and its so annoying. I hate loosing so much hair in the shower & having to tie it up all day. Sometimes hair loss can be caused by illness, stress or missing nutrients. A month ago I realized I had been severely anemic for probably a few months. I think that played a role. I have also been stressed about covid because I'm immune compromised. Its not the first time I've lost hair. Know that it DOES grow back. Check your vitamin levels including iron. You can supplement with a multivitamin too. I'm taking iron pills now & had a blood transfusion so hopefully things will get better in a few months.
Omg same, I'm so sorry. I hope your hair is better now. Do you mind asking me, if your hair got better and did you find a root cause? It's becoming a big challenge for me, and it's stressing me out even more.
Love this video!I am eighteen years old and for the past few years I’ve been suffering from hair loss, (many strands fall out with just a brush of the fingers).I felt so alone because when I went online, most videos on hairloss were for men or elder women. Its really affecting my self esteem so seeing someone young post their story is really reassuring. The doctor simply prescribed me vitamin D after a blood test however it hasn’t made a difference to my hair loss, if anything it’s gotten worse since. Also, with this product, how would you describe the results with your hairline area?
You are NOT alone. I have been losing chunks of my hair since I was 17 and I felt the same as you. But the problem is a lot more common than you'd think.
I have been losing hair since I was 16 and Dr prescribed me vit D and it just didn't work. No matter what I try I just don't see any results and my hair now are extremely thin
I want to share my experience with hair loss since I think it might help someone! At 24 I was misdiagnosed with androgenetic alopecia and I fell into a severe depression pit, but (probably thanks to denial) I knew that I couldn’t have genetic pattern baldness since none of my female relatives have/had that issue. So, I started to do some research of my own (on legit medical site like Mayo Clinic) and found out that a lot of different imbalances in the body can contribute to alopecia and that misdiagnosis in this matter is quite common. I asked my derm to order a blood lab test with the following items: iron, ferritin, transferritin, zinc, magenisium, vit D, A, C and E, B12, and hormones such as testosterone (yes, even us females have it), estrogen, insulin, cortisol, fsh, dhea-s and dha. Everything was normal except for ferritin (which is stored iron): I had 15 out of 11-400, which is an insanely wide range, and my derm said not to worry about it because I was within range. I kept digging, and found a forum where a lot of women suffering from hair loss told their story regarding ferritin: they all mentioned how they were ‘within range’ but they took iron tablets anyway (first thing in the morning plus vit c as an enhancer, as directed) and their hair loss stopped after they reached a 'ferritin sweet spot' of 50, 70 or 100, depending on each one of them. I tried this technique and after a month of taking iron tablets, I reached a level of 35 and my hair loss completely stopped. I still try to mantain it at least over 30 and not over 90 since I find that when it is too high, I suffer from hair loss too. If you do not have any liver issues (which can be worsened by ingesting iron) I suggest you try this method with a doctor monitoring you just in case and try to find your ferritin ideal level, without overdoing it of course. Most women tend to be on the lower side of ferritin and iron levels (regardless of what lab tests say) due to menstruation, low nutritional diets and excessive intake of iron inhibiting foods (coffee and green tea for instance) and/or disrupted gut health which makes the absorption of minerals very difficult. You can also get checked for internal blood loss (especially around the digestive area) because is where a lot of people lose blood, therefore iron, without even noticing. I wanted to add that if you're 100% sure you have androgenetic alopecia (female pattern baldness) you should try combination birth control pills since they have an anti-androgenic effect. That being said, if you read the side effects of those pills, hair loss is listed as one of many, which is unlikely but could happen.... If you are young and you can also draw some benefit from the actual contraceptive effect of the pills, then I think it's worth the shot! (tbh, if you do not need the contraceptive benefit, I would still try them out). Also, have in mind that whatever the cause of hair loss is, it probably got triggered or started 3-6 months before the actual shedding begun so if you can trace it back and check if you suffered a very stressful situation, medical issue or were eating poorly at that moment to have a clearer picture. This time gap of 3-6 months also applies for seeing improvements: if you start any new procedure now (pills, vitamins, iron or topical treatments, etc) you'll see the results in 3-6 months time...I know it's difficult to be patient with this because, understandably so, we want immediate effects but sadly that's not the case, so we have to push through and be patient. I hope you can give all of this tips a try if you are in a similar situation as I was and in good health conditions to do so; ask me any questions if you have them! Wish you the best luck!
Hey! I can relate. I am 19 and suffered from telogen effluvium last year which is a stress induced hair loss, which has calmed down now and recovered. A lot of my hair fell out and I had multiple other problems on my scalp to fix like eczema and dandruff, so I went through some treatments with my dermatologist. I would say get professional advice, do not take medicines or any other vitamins without prescription because u want to make sure u know the source of the problem. Yes vit D is important for hair, which I also took, but sadly this doesnt bring back the hair u lost magically back. Hair takes a lot of time to grow, different for everyone. Look around your scalp and see if you notice any redness, flaking, or anything unusual of a healthy scalp. If you're having an area which is bald, it might be alopecia but again, get professional advice to get some reassurance. All the best
I’ve been having some hectic hair fallout in the last 6 months. Clumps of it was falling out in the shower and my hair was thinning like crazy. Started taking iron tablets and vitamin d tablets every day without fail and my hair stopped shedding. I have heaps of peach fuzz on my scalp now. My hair looks frizzy and crazy up top, but it’s definitely new hair growth. Get a blood test first to make sure you need either supplement, I was lacking in both and thank god the tablets have made a difference.
Thanks for sharing your experience. May I ask you when did you notice new hair growth? I have severe hairloss from all over my scalp which indicates vitamins deficiency, did the blood test and vitamin d was only 7!! Unfortunately I suffer from leaky gut syndrome which make it worse so I have to take vit D with shots or IV drip coz pills won't help
You are not alone. Lots of people have been losing their hair due to covid 19 months after infection; many people have been losing their hair as a result of the stress of the pandemic. Typically this type of hair loss results months after whatever event stresses ones body. Dermatologist will help with hair loss; everything else will just help with length retention. See a derm , there are so many options. Minodoxil will help with actual bald spots; but again, see a dermatologist for serious concerns. We also shed 50-150 hairs a day so that is completely normal as well. Stay healthy, love from Queens
You're not alone girl. I'm 49 with hormonal baldness. It's destroying to self-confidence. I hope you get sorted soon. Thank you for sharing this video.
Giirrrrl I understand, I went thru hair loss. I was bald! My hair wasn’t growing back dense. I went through depression and all, I know how you feel, I didn’t know hair loss was something that could have such an effect on someone until I went thru it myself, and Still currently! That’s how I came across your video! Hair does give confidence! Hey I’m here for you!🙌🏽We in this together! I’m going to order that product and check it out🙏🏽And rice water!
Giselle Cuadrado Yess👯♀️💕 I take collagen pills, it probably helped my hair growth though I don’t think it helped restore my density, I still take them for multi purpose. I recently started using a derma roller on my scalp and using coconut oil, lavender oil, Castro oil. Let’s see🤞🏽 I’ll definitely keep you updated❤️
Giselle Cuadrado I haven’t tried the powder. Powder dissolves in your body easily as it absorbs the vitamins/nutrients. With the pill, you just have to make sure you’re drinking water, to dissolve it. Which drinking a lot of water helps with hair growth🤗
Ìt only promises to make the hair APPEAR thicker so it doesn't claim to have an effect. Bear that in mind. I love the Ordinary but I haven't heard good reviews on that one.
Believe you are wasting your time. If you need to help your self. You need to do things internally as well as externally. With these things. I can Guarantee you this works 💯. Make a oil concussion : with olive oil, coconut oil, mustard oil, Black Jamaican castor oil, 10 drops of rosemary 10 drops of clary sage 10 drops of peppermint. And drops of Cedarwood. And for internally : Grounded flaxseed with water in. The morning. And triphala powder tea spoon in the morning or night time. During the day take horsetail and rosemary capsules as directed on the label. 3 months drastic change. I hope this helps.
@@veraniemandius7618 Hey :) So I've had some improvement overall, tiny hairs are starting to finally grow but I've been using rosemary essential oil, and I've been taking supplements as well. I've actually been taking prenatals because they're packed with vitamins! Sometimes I've been using the ordinary still but not as often as I like the feeling of the rosemary on my head...what I do is after I shower I take either a hair oil or the olaplex #6 cream and I mix a few rosemary and peppermint oil drops and then apply to my scalp. I'm still shedding a bit more than Id like, but its definitely not as bad as it was 5 months ago...so far I've been diagnosed with telogen effluvium. Hope this helps. Feel free to message me!
I like to see videos no longer than 6' and you did it! Plus i found your video constructive, so thank you for making good content. I suscribe. Blessings from Spain, stay safe!
I’m so excited 😆 I’ve always been embarrassed of his thin my hair is so I started this 4 days ago .. hoping to also see results in 6 m Thank you for posting beautiful
Personally I’m still loving it The serum gives me volume & I can go longer between washing Also, I put my hair up in a bun yesterday & noticed a bunch of baby hairs coming out of the sides & front area where I put the serum first every time :) I highly suggest it I’ll continue using this for at least a year :)
@@rohitrudrathiyagaraj5600 Hey don’t hesitate.. try it It helps add volume & wash less often as it treats your scalp & yes I’ve grown more hair. And I still use it at least once a week (the day after I wash)
Hey I lose my hair too and I know exactly how you feel ♥️ thank you so much for making this video, it makes me feel seen and I’m glad we’re in this together!! You’re awesome 😊

I'm ordering this serum right away...thank you so much for sharing this with me.xxx
Giselle C Hey girl, head n shoulders is really bad for your scalp :/ it’s designed to make it worse overall long term but feel better after you wash. I hope you are using something else ❤️✨
@@stinkfaceglam3664 so on the day I’m going to wash my hair (I buy mine from a website called piping rocks) I rub it into my scalp and all over, usually I do it the night before I’m going to wash it because it smells like an ashtray, I sleep with a cap on so it doesn’t get oil on my pillow and then I wash it out the next day, it’s good to leave it on as much as you can then washing it out :)
Good energy! I bought this a while ago to top up my cart for free shipping. Im currently dropping some weight and have naturally fine hair. This puts me at RISK for hair fall and I finally busted out the bottle. I'm gonna document my experience but already after 2 uses there are little tiny hairs growing on my hairline. WTF have i been waiting for?? Ps your hair looks great, much healthier!
I’m so happy it’s working for you!!! I hope it continues to show improvement. Thank you for the compliment! I can be so tough on myself when it comes to my hair so I appreciate it ☺️
Omg my hair falls out a lot with the ball at the end! I’ve tried everything and even going to the doctors. My hairs very thin, I can’t leave it out anymore and makes me feel so crap
I’ve been to the doctors back and fourth and it’s been tiring! I’ve been put on so many different vitamins which did nothing and I’ve had blood tests done. I don’t think they’ve taken me seriously all I’ve been told is my hair fall is normal which is soo frustrating!
Hey try some natural masks, put some castor oil on your skalp and roots, massage it in, cover head with foil and then towel leave for at least 30 min up to few hours. Try some rice water it is amazing 😍😍 and try some apple cider vinegar wash. I tried all of them picked what suits me the most and now my hair is not falling out and its getting thicker. I also take vitamin D magnesium zinc iron collagen and coconut oil vitamins. GOOD LUCK!
Giselle Cuadrado I feel your pain , I’ve lost so much hair. When I went to the doctor she said it’s bc of my hormones. I’ve always had bad periods and she concluded that I could have endometriosis and that I’m anemic .

Very understand your mood, when our boss young met a girl wants to commit suicide because of hair loss, our boss as a doctor in this situation is very heartache, and then developed the 101 best life products, up to now has helped 30 millions customers out of hair loss
i just ordered this product im going to start using it im only 20 years old. my hair is how your hair looks like before😰. i use castor oil almost every week like 3x and i promise you that has also worked in making my hair more thicker.
Giselle C yes i do i usually dont go out the next day i try to leave it as long as i can. so if i put it on Monday i'll try and leave it till wednesday. it's really thick so i brush through my hair and if anything i put my hair in a slick bun or braids if i do go out the next days! after wednesday i'll wash it out. and proceed again like on friday and just do the same. i apply it all over my scalp but i also heard its good to apply it to ur ends to reduce breakage 🙂 its better to keep it in for a few days and then wash it out or u can try and just keep it overnight and then wash it out the next day
when you got to the dermatologist, ask them about Kenalog injections and if you are a candidate for them. I have had alopecia areata and just general thinning of the hair for the past couple years (thought to be stress related because the blood tests haven't shown anything) and the injections have really helped. They can stack up and get expensive but it was really worth it for me! Good luck!
Thank you for sharing the link of where you purchased this. I could not find it on any other site. Sold out everywhere. I’m am guessing that means it is good. Thanks again!
P.S. Here is another option, I think you have a great head shape! I could never do it myself but I think you would look so great buzzing all your hair off! I really think you would rock it!
Nadine Baggot in one of her videos recently rec'd a shampoo and conditioner that has pea protein......or something like that. It is supposed to help with the pattern of when your hair falls out vs its growing phase. She explains it better. I'm very tempted to try them.
you should try flaxseeds gel. This is a game changer. My vitamin D levels are really low, and my hormones are off the scale lol.... so I was seeing a lot of hairloss, but the game changer in all of this was the flaxseeds gel, and the fenugreek mask. In order to get the flaxseeds gel, you take a half a cup of flaxseeds along with 3/4cup water, and leave it overnight in a container with a lid on it. In the morning, the flaxseeds would become gel like consistency, so you just squeeze it out through a strainer. For thickening the hair, I took 1/2 cup of fenugreek seeds and I left in a cup of water overnight. The water alone can be used as a hair spray. The fenugreek can be blended in a blender along with a little water, and you use this as a mask, and wash your scalp after 30 minutes of keeping it in.
Hi Gisselle. I don't have time to see all comments below so I don't know if already somebody told you about the channel of curly proverbs there is a recipe for hair growth. She is so much into the topic. I'm doing the recipe and it helps.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tArotHd4iN8.html. This is the recipe. Actually I got it from another girl youtube channel that gave the recipe from her from Curly proverbz sorry is with z. The recipe is all aryuvedic. I'm doing this recipe as well. I don't have a RU-vid channel but I you look one of my videos I made a review for a biotin product. You might wanna try it too but you will see my story in how I got a bad experience bleaching my own hair. So when I saw your video you made me remember my own situation. I might try this hair serum from The Ordinary. I'm curious it's how I get to your channel. 😉
Hey girl I would say get your iron level checked. I had the same issue years ago. If you are struggling to get seen, like myself, in this pandemic, starting multivitamins (containing iron) could be a good shout? Just be careful not to go over recommended intake . It could also be hormonal , so if nothing helps, I recommend speaking to your doctor about possibility of that too. They would ask you a bunch of questions that can help rule it out or test for it e.g. regularity of menstrual cycle etc. All the best xx
@@stinkfaceglam3664 well there are adenosine sprays out there, which have a similar result. Like pilexil. Or stemoxydine which is a great substitute to minoxidil and doensent behave the same way as minox.
You're wonderful and you did AMAZING with this. I can relate to this and I appreciate your candor. 🥰 You should see a dermatologist, you could be experiencing Telogen Effluvium, which is extreme shedding after a tramatic event...ie surgery, loss of a close one, restricting diets, fever, STRESS. All of this can cause hair loss within 3-4 months of the “event” Also medications OCPs, steroids, NSAIDs, HRT...etc Your hair will grow back if thus is the cause, once the “event” has stopped. And can take up to 6mnths-2years (the natural hair cycle) Thank you for this video, it is extremely hard as a women to experience because it’s not social exceptable for a women to “thin” and YES we find our hair as a sign of femininity, and beauty but we can not let it define us (which I have to tell myself this too) Take care gorgeous. 💕 Side note there are many meds that can cause hair loss as well. Which is reversible. Best of luck ladies 🤞🏻❤️
You’re beautiful and should not feel bad about your hair. Have you tried taking MSM supplements, collagen peptides and/or Omega 3 fish oil? Nioxin has a great line for thinning hair. You can also add Rosemary essential oil and castor oil to your shampoo. Take care!
@@stinkfaceglam3664 regarding the comment below lol my hair has been growing much more quickly since I started taking collagen daily. I think its wonderful :)
You have TE. Could be triggered by vitamin deficiencies, stress, bad diet etc. Try and get a diagnosis and maintain a healthy lifestyle. If u try rice water only do a rinse don’t risk a fungal infection :)
I’m confused on how to use this. Do you have to wash your hair everyday to put it on a clean scalp? Or can you wash your hair one day and put it on, then put it on the next day without washing your hair?
Giselle Cuadrado I DIY them boil 2cups of water with 1/2 cup flax seed and then strain it and add 3 tables spoons of castor oil and massage to roots 2x per week

@@stinkfaceglam3664 See dear, please please don't get depressed because of hair. You may worry a bit at times but never get depressed. It should not affect your daily life like it did to me but now I'm okay. Time heals everything. It is sad to see people worrying about hair so much. Hair is nothing which contributes to good health. Stay strong. Stay happy. Nothing bad is gonna happen even if your hair thins.
I have the same exact problem than you, and I know exactly how you feel bc I feel sad and worried and anxious bc every time I wash my hair, comb it, brush it, touch it, make a pony tail, untight my hair, I lose a lot of hair and it’s been like that for years, I feel embarrassed that my scalp it’s super visible and it’s obvious that I’m going bald and my hair is so thin and break a lot, I even count the strands I lose, or pick up the ones from my carpet and I lose count of it. I feel bad when someone tell me or points out my lack of hair in the front line or mid part. I just haven’t dared to go to a doctor because it is very expensive and I’m afraid that the treatment will be even more or worse, that dr tells me that there is no solution. I have tried everything, onion in my shampoo, rogaine, hair growth oil, anti shedding, Aloe shampoo, chili pepper shampoo, vitamins, collagen powder. Nothing really seem to work. My one friend just got me this serum and I hope I can see results soon, been using it for 4 months but intermittently. Thank for being honest and open to us, because you never know if there is someone that feels like you and you can give hopes and shelter without realizing. 💕 Good luck with the doctor and let us know
Use a satin scrunchie to tie your hair up. Also get a satin bonnet to wear to bed - that will limit the damage to your hair when you rub it against your pillow etc. You should get blood tests done. It may be lack of iron or it may be thyroid function. I have 85% hair loss at this stage. Five years of hair loss and doctors can't agree on what the issue is. I have one blood test that shows hypothyroidism and another that shows low in iron but thyroid function fine!!! Go figure! I want the blood tests done a third time to rule out where the error is. My gp isn't happy with me asking but it's my bloody hair, my body, my choice. Can you tell I'm angry af?
Emer Henry thanks a lot, I def need to visit a doctor. I don’t know what doctor I should go to first tho. I don’t want to jump from doctor to doctor to another one... 😔
@@Pikminization hey, i hope you are doing fine. I don't know well how the health system works in your country. Could I just ask out of curiosity, do you also have to pay to go to therapist?
Did you get some blood tests done? Or got it checked by a dermatologist? Am in a similar situation. Underwent considerable stress around Oct last year and was seriously ill - hot flashes. Severe Vitamin D deficient. When I was hospitalized in Feb this year, I noticed clumps of hair falling out. Hair fall has slowed now but sections of my scalp are still visible. Doctors told me I had telogen effluvium but everywhere on the net I get to see that its symptoms are so similar to androgenetic alopecia. So, I am not sure if just focusing on my diet and managing my stress would do the trick.
I have had periods of hair falling out, especially through stress. I have found good multi B vitamins and also taking Biotin as well, which is in the B vitamin family has not only started good new growth but my hair is looking thicker, healthier. I have also found taking magnesium at night good for my hair, although I actually took it for better sleep, I have noticed its improved hair loss, and hair looks better. (And I feel more energetic)Hope that helps.
My hair is thick, but around my forehead on my scalp I’ve noticed hair thinning almost balding. If I get this product I really hope it’ll help me at least a bit with this problem
Thanks for this video! Quarantine drove me to bleaching the life out of my hair, and two months later most of the front end crown has broken off and and whatever is left literally crumbles off to the touch and I’m so distraught it’s affecting my day to day life more and more and I don’t know what to do. I might try this
Hi Giselle, You said you were taking birth control and it caused hair loss. What type were you taking and are you still taking it? I had gotten the birth control implant in my arm and I’ve been noticing hair loss. Like chunks of it coming off.
I'm 37 female and been experiencing major hair loss from past few years no idea why, blood tests dont help doctors never provide help bc there's nothing to do about it. eat better drink water I think helps, it is not vain, it,s embarrassing as I cook and find hair in cake batter sometimes even if I cover my hair ! it is sad to see all the hair coming out after washing like tons of hair every week. I tried biotin years ago not sure if it helps stop the shedding definitely doesn't make it grow. IF I find something that works I will post it here. good luck
@@stinkfaceglam3664 thank you same to you, update went to a dermatologist asked me to retake a blood test and suggested Rogain for basically the rest of my life....
hey! so since quarantine I have lost a lot of hair. I was never properly diagnosed but I believe I have telogen effuluvium, which can happen as a result of internal and external stress as a result of COVID. I got COVID back in march and saw hair loss around august. I have been taking spironolactone 100mg, and my hair has definitely stopped falling out in clumps every day. I definitely see a lot of hair growth too but i've been using JB castor oil, coconut oil, and korean hair loss shampoo and conditioner. since I finished the medication for 3 months, I have experienced normal hair loss but im scared so will continue to look for more products haha
@@stinkfaceglam3664 I went to a dermatologist for prescription! hair loss is part of skin so I recommend going to specialist bc if u go to your primary doctor theyll probably refer you to a derm. so just save time and go straight there :)
I don't see any difference. You have very fine hair, had the same problem, especially when I used any shampoos. I can recommend Sanoll hair care and shampoo volume. When I tie my hair back I no longer have the problem. only for conditioners, masks and other plasticizers. My hair always looks so thin, streaky and looks like little. The basic shampoos from Sanoll are a blessing for my hair. However, the changeover takes time.
I'm 22 and I naturally have really thin and sparse hair. The middle part of my hair goes all the way to the back so you can see my hair part from behind :( Hopefully this works, thank you!
