As I arrived at the Grove Park Inn (Omni Hotel) for a visit, my BMW 525i overheated and had to be shut down. I was mortified, alone, in a city I knew nothing about. The hotel's concierge helped me find BMW service centers all of which were swamped with travelers and could not give an appointment for two weeks. While looking for independent car service centers, the concierge attendant Maria came upon the The Organic Mechanic. She was unable to offer any information or recommend this business but it was listed as a local car repair business in the area. Frantically, I called and spoke with service advisor Mr Darin DuPre and explained my emergency. Mr. DuPre asked several questions and was most gracious in offering to work an appointment in their already busy schedule to take a look. He offered the name of a tow service to be helpful. I needed to leave Asheville in 24 hours and I was most anxious to get help. Not only did the staff at the Organic Mechanic diagnose the problem, but in view off the fact that parts were not immediately available for my 11-year-old car, they created a safe modified solution, tested the car to make sure appropriate temperatures were maintained and explained in full detail what needed to occur for the correct repair. This measure allowed me to leave on schedule. The cost was within my means for a retired senior citizen on fixed income and the workmanship was impeccable. I was treated with kindness, dignity and respect. The staff at the Organic Mechanic was very sensitive to my need to leave Asheville within the next 24 hours. I am glad to say the Organic Mechanics wrote instructions for my own personal BMW service center describing recommended replacements. The Organic Mechanic FIXED the problem! I was towed into their facility and two hours later drove away happily and ever so grateful for the wonderful gentlemen who made my day. I am grateful to Grove Park Inn for providing their name, the Grove Park Inn valet staff who made sure the towing service was able to get my vehicle and God for blessing me with the best experience ever. When I got home and looked up the business, it was icing on the cake to learn that the word "Organic" in the business name serves a functional purpose - this business is also green very much like George Vanderbilt. I give the Organic Mechanics 10 of 10 on all levels! Their unprecedented service was the best ever, bar none!!! Happy Motoring here!
