It baffles me that people want that bag so much but don’t know it is named after Jane Birkin the mother of French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg. Jane is so down to earth that I feel it’s a sweet irony that her bag is now sought after the most obnoxious and most vain women. I don’t want to make a generalization but it’s really funny. Btw I too only have seen her speaking French I almost tend to forget she is from England Aha!

Yeah it doesn’t suit her, she was known for carrying a straw basket back in the day. She also asked Hermès to stop using her name bc of the ridiculous price of the bag and animal cruelty. But they didn't do it

Here we are looking at the a woman with a class, humility and effortless charm whose name was given to one of the most expensive bags. On the other hand there are some women who ask for an extra chair to put their Birkin bag on and walk like they are above anyone else bcs they're wearing a Birkin bag.

Bro she even wears her bag like a normal person. It's like when you have one bag or backpack or jacket that is really good quality and you've had it for forever and you love it and drag it everywhere with you so in time it distresses and it collects all sorts of memories and tokens and trinkets and you pin and dangle stuff from it. She wears it the same, she has all sorts of stuff hanging from the bag and it's so beautiful and real. I know it's expensive and it's become a status symbol but it looks so sad and cold when it's all new and shiny and people wear it all hyper glam with other huge brands which honestly it's a sign of new money idiocy and lack of class

JANE BIRKIN "the dream in the drawer" and in the THOUGHTS of all the boys of that time: her very sweet and sensual voice given to us when in 1969 she imprinted on vinyl the few phrases of the song JE T'AIME ... she made the world fall in love whole and not just the male one. She had CHARM and possessed a NIGHTMARE BEAUTY!!! She was also a successful woman in the arts for a good decade. I sincerely hope to be able to meet her BEAUTIFUL and HAPPY again in her new home and sing with her and endlessly a hymn that will vehemently make all the souls of heaven gasp: “JE T’AIME”…!!! 💔❤

That is why I also appreciate dresses with pockets, like the last one I got from Target. Everyone inside of the store attacked me, except a kind stranger that happens to be gay. He stayed with me until I checked out all of my items and he even escorted me to my Tesla that I got on sale. We gave each other a hug and he told me, "We have to help each other,"

Oh, come on Anthony! Most don't call or know that the vomit bag on airplanes should be called a stomach distress bag. Anthony sometimes is too uptight for the assignments he gets on Sunday Morning, including the amazing music segments. How he got them I don't know. She was just telling a fun origins story and he had to correct her? Loosen the tie, it's a Sunday Morning story, Anthony.

It's Sunday Morning and two people are gently talking about a chance encounter that created a niche fashion item. Certainly there are more stressing issues but sometimes we need to have something stress free like this right here. That's true that Americans are used to seeing bright white veneers, implants or dentures on most people on TV. Very few have their natural teeth when they age.
