The biggest problem for NSP right now is: 1) Epic hasn't released the "orange prison jumpsuit Agent Jones" as an in-game skin, so they can't use him yet. 2) The more Lore Epic does and the more older skins they use in cinematics as characters who are members of the I.O., the more it will clash with NSP's own storyline, where different characters have died (while in Epic's version of the Island characters don't perma-die, even the I.O. personal who are not Loopers), or have different parents/relationships. So sadly NSP are hobbled by the need to constantly wait for what Epic will reveal.

The most annoying part is that instead of sticking to their original storylines they go out of their way to retcon things just for the sake of matching the canon lore

We're starting off VERY strong. And to the person who claimed The Origin was one of the Cube-creatures like the Cube Queen: I.O. you an apology. But you have to admit, him being the CUBE KING was too specific to guess. EDIT: Since I keep getting comments that tell me to look at the in-game cosmetics: The guy I'm talking about told me The Origin was the Cube King back in Chapter 3 Season 1, BEFORE this season.

Man, he is the one inside the room of the imposter map where we just see fire through the door's gap. He was tortured by the imagined order, but was rescued when the chapter 2 finale happened, as the office was destroyed

U know seeing Key as a part of IO, I can only imagine reoccurring characters like Lynx and Drift as well as Sunbird and Lace to try to save and free him from their control for a small plot side story but that’s just an idea and that last idea I had got one of my favorite characters killed off
