In todays video we're covering the fully completed Sonic open world fan game, Sonic Chrono Adventure. Developed by Lake Feppard I couldn't help but question why this game was held in the same regard as his other endeavors Sonic Before & After the Sequel. That's what we're here to find out, in the original open world Sonic game.

nice video, the face cam was a good idea. Only problem was at the start of the video, your speech isn't matched with your lip movements but otherwise brilliant

I tend to ignore fan games, and never even heard of this, but I can see the Spark the Electric Jester in this game from the video. Just the way the backgrounds and everything looks.

Amazing Video, my opinion as you asked for it is. I recommend Making ur videos like this one, Basically Showing us ur face and also talking behind screen.. This difference is very good and I'm pretty sure a lot think the same way I do! But in the end do what most say if you don't mind this specific recommendations of theirs, also good luck Nick!

I dont have any personal preference for the facecam/ no facecam thing cus its all up to the creator. I dont really know about camera quality. If its fun for you or easier to edit then go for it. ITs just the voice that sounds a little different to me, like its deeper in a way or something. Idk if its just me or your voice is actually changing cus i remember it being higher in videos prior. Itll take some getting used to but ill get there eventually

Camera quality is definitely gonna be more consistent in the future and yes I wasn’t as loud in the face cam segments but I’m tinkering to make it all sound good. Thanks for the feedback!

If LakeFepard were to make another Sonic fangame what will look like because his experience with the Spark games showed us what he’s truey capable of when it comes to game development.Would Lake use the same sprites or would he make his own custom sorites? I personally think it would be similar to Sonic and the fallen star

There is absolutely NO way that Lake didn't find out about the glitch that stores jet charges. This means that, not only did he know, but he kept it in because it's generally useful all around.

you can level up sword before going into amusement park part, destroy a rock with it and bring boost early... Or just destroy rock that at the end of boost lab section?... I don't clearly remember now. It's been so long since I played it last time

plus it needs an original soundtrack as it feels weird that Before And After The Sequel has an original OST but not Chrono Adventure, although there is something amusing and funny about fighting Dark Mecha Sonic at the end of the game with the "STANDING HERE! I REALIZE" song playing in the background

no way! the sword is the best! u get the spinslash eventually and can go super sonic with it! oh yeah also played this at release and was part of a group effort to find all the emeralds so was super biased

Depends on the kind of story. Every narrative is different so focus on what you’re trying to say and make the audience feel and have the story revolve around that I suppose. It’s a complex question inherently but I hope that helps at least a little 🙏🏻

I like your video and everything you said is true but I wanna bring the art and the level design in my opinion… some things with the art might be confusing as you can like have troubles differentiating what’s solid and what’s not… also level design in here might work but on the BTS and ATS games, yeah not that good…
