The fact that elijah was able to find them and their only defense was 2 guys with crossbows explains how stupid their plan was. if dahlia wasn't busy with klaus, she would have found them by now, taken hope and killed the entire pack.

Ester left her sister a slave. To marry one of the men who slaughtered there entire family, and kidnapped them.....
@RomarioAllison

Esther fell in love with one of the people who slaughter their entire family and village the only reason why they were left alive is because Esther and Dahlia are witches. They both planned to escape together but Esther chose to abandon her for their enemies. From dalias perspective she is right to behave cold to family.

Then Esther promised her the first born for fertility and tried to recoil from the promise. Twice ester "broke her heart"

What makes it worse was that Dahlia took on all the work so Esther wouldn't have to be in slavery like her while Esther had the freedom to move around and galavant all she wanted, in hope that they can escape together only to be rejected at the end for one the oppressors.

I never thought of hayley as stupid, I always thought of her as smart and calculated with incredible survival instincts, but this episode I dont think she could be any dumber if she tried, she allowed jackson to manipulate her with this absurd fantasy of life away from hope's FAMILY just because he hated the Mikaelsons. All jackson and hayley have are a pack of genuinely useless wolves that would be easily taken down by a group of old enough vampires. Daliah literally took a half dozen of them with a snap of her finger. Hope isn't only a target because she's a Mikaelson, she will forever be a target because she is the most powerful creature to exist thus far. In my opinion, the safest place she can be is with the Mikaelsons, especially her dad who happens to be the second most powerful creature on earth. Jackson just wanted hayley away from Elijah and the Mikaelsons and he couldn't do that without separating hope from the Mikaelsons and he knows that. He is so obsessed with this image of the perfect bride Andrea and he is so incapable of letting that go.

Yeah I like Hayley a lot but that was pretty dumb of her to assume that Jackson and his useless wolf army could protect Hope better than the Mikaelsons.

Completely agree and these last 2 episodes solidified how much I can't stand Jackson. He overstepped his position as "stepdad" way too much in this storyline. Idgaf if he married Hayley, he can be a second father figure from afar, but he has no right whatsoever to suggest they take Hope and run away from her actual father...who literally just loves her and does everything he can to protect her lol. Klaus would rather die before he hurt Hope and Jackson knows this so it was messed up to secretly plan to take her away from him. Jackson cared more about having Hayley to himself than what was best for Hope... which definitely wasn't hiding her away from the only person powerful enough to protect her! Imagine trying to take and hide a child from a father that loves her when she's in literal danger and he's the only one that can protect her 😭 Hayley and Jackson were just being toxic and selfish af

@@natb9919 Jackson's (and Hayley's) assessment of the danger of "being a Mikaelson" isn't actually that wrong... Don't get me wrong, I don't disagree that their plan was flawed AS FUCK... My only argument is that, if you don't think that Klaus IS a danger to Hope, clearly you haven't been paying attention to the shows and the messages in their arcs... No, I'm not saying that Klaus would directly harm Hope or that he even remotely wants to, and Jackson ain't saying that either... But indirectly Klaus is THE BIGGEST source of danger towards Hope given his past and even present actions; they aren't wrong about that... Klaus, and in general the Mikaelson last name, it's basically a perpetual source of life ending situations for Hope... Now, does Jackson have any grounds to weight in on that argument, no, he doesn't, but Hayley does and it should certainly be something that Klaus needs to think about and be argued for (hence, the reason for this story arc)

I am always struggling to decide on whose side I am in in this storyline. I think both Hayley and Klaus have a point. Hayley is just trying to protect here daughter and does not know what to do because she and Klaus do not communicate. I do 100% think her choice is wrong since Dahlia can easily find the wolfs but at the same time she is extremely vulnerable and out of options. I don't think she can think rationally at this point. Jackson takes advantage of here vulnerability by influencing her decision. You can see the evolution of Jackson's influence in the previous episodes. At the beginning she talks back and thinks rationally, but now she is at a point in which she acts out of fear. Klaus making bad decisions does not help. Soooo excited for the next two episodes. They are amazing!

Because Hayley married Jackson! Why is everyone missing that?😂 they move as one now. Queen of the pack. What was she supposed to do? Klaus was giving her nothing to work with. You want Hayley to choose Klaus over her husband??

LOl what? Hayley is incredibly stupid. She can't protect Hope with Jackson and the pack, that was a stupid move. Klaus is the biggest mastermind and yet she made a decision to take Hope away, not just from him but from the whole family. That is stupid and does not make sense. @@rayanog

@@rayanogHayley is a mother before she is Jackson’s wife or pack queen. She took a man’s child from him(l know it’s their daughter), but short of abuse of which there was none she’s fully in the wrong. Also, she made the worst possible decision leaving the most powerful family in the world to run away with a pack of wolves that can be beaten with the snap of Dahlia’s finger. She knows how smart Klaus is, as well as she was with Klaus basically the whole time from when he got to the bar at which point Aiden was still alive and meeting with Jackson. The fact that they are all willing to condemn him is a character flaw in THEM, not him, and proves why he couldn’t trust them. As well as him saying “Hayley, who’s allegiance to Jackson grows stronger by the day” he can see how irrational she is because Jackson is both a pussy and a moron. Lastly, them putting Klaus down gives Dahlia an endless supply of Klaus blood to track her

Idk how you guys missed the point of Dahlia’s backstory so badly. As it was pointed out in the comment section, the Vikings killed their family and friends, enslaved them, beat Dahlia and possibly worse. She took the beatings, and all the work to protect Esther so that she would have freedom and not be beaten. Esther promised Dahlia to run away from the with Dahlia, and then married one of her abusers and family killers, WHILE DAHLIA REMAINED A SLAVE!! Imagine your sister did that to you! If you don’t feel bad for that, you’re probably the sociopath
