I have a feeling he will be but so will Davina. I think Davina will talk some sense into him and he'll do the right thing but it'll cost both of them their lives. I'm sure Davina doesn't want to die but this about something bigger then what she and Kol want.

Jacklyn Lawson Okay, the whole using Klaus and Elijah hijacking Davina's spell is really a bad example to use - their family was in danger from Dahlia, if they didn't defeat her, who'd be alive afterwards to bring Kol back anyways? What family would he come back to with this crazy witch aunt who's trying to kill them all and steal Hope? They had a bigger problem to tend to and they needed to do it - they knew that Kol would still be there in spirit and that after Dahlia is taken care of, they could still go back to get Kol, they could still find a way, but you take care of one problem at a time and Dahlia was a huge problem. It had nothing to do with the siblings not caring about Kol and had everything to do with hey there's this big bad we need to actually take care of first and then when everything is all fixed we can figure out how to bring our brother back when we're not constantly worried about dying.

BetaArtemis It's like now. The hollow wants power, we've seen what happens to her followers. Kol needs a plan other than betraying his family and helping the hollow. She'll sacrifice them all, including Kol and Davina, and if she kill Hope no one can stop her.

What's this "they could still go back to get Kol" they didn't, Davina did. So I guess you could say Davina still could've gone back for Kol. I just didn't like how they tricked her like that. I know they probably knew Davina wouldn't have gone for it.

Dajon Scrillin none of that is the reason he's doing this. He loves Davina and will do anything to keep her alive including betraying his family it's that simple. And every member of the Mikaelsons have betrayed the family at one point or another

Yes but no matter how much TVD deteriorated in the last years let us not forget that it was Plec that created the Originals. Both as characters and show. Even Kevin Williamson admitted that the Originals as characters were Plec's creation. And also Plec wrote the first season of the show which was great and very high in ratings and once Narducci took control the show fell to abysmal ratings from its very second season. I am not saying he is a bad writer but I am saying that there are not much differences between him and Plec. TO would not exist without Julie so we should also keep that in mind before we reject her without any second thoughts.

yeah but klaus will not see it that way he has one thing he can not abide and that is betrayal by the ones closest to him. this has been shown over and over in both TVD and the Originals.

jess griffiths you think they would risk the death of each other and/or Hope to save their replaceable side dishes? haha-hahaha-ha. no. i doubt that. romantic love is nice and all, but through their thousand years of living they are also aware that it rarely endures, unlike their family ties, which they experienced as bonds that can be stretched really thin but never broken truly - why would they sacrifice the few true bonds they can have for relationships that are inherently temporary? and we just saw how _conditional_ Hailey's love for Elijah really is - i think she is worse than Davina in this regard, but at least she is part of the core family by virtue of being Hope's mother, if nothing else - if it came down to a choice between Hope and Hailey there is no doubt in my mind who both Klaus and Elijah will choose to protect (don't get me wrong, I would/could not love an actual monster like any of the vampires either - but i am also not a killer myself, obviously, and unconditional love is BS in any case - even a mother can become hated by her child and come to hate her own child if they act despicably, in the end what counts is whether or not people have any motivation to forgive each other - and romantic relationships are notorious for resulting in the worst kind of bitterness after disappointments, which makes them different from family relationships that are typically more likely to be based on forgiveness in the first place, because there is never any illusion of the other being perfect to begin with)

gotta agree with organicstorm on this the core 3 Rebekah,Klaus and Eljiah would never choose a love over the other two, where as Kol is different he has always been on the outside when it comes to the main 3 siblings so he would choose Davina over his family.

FIFA Fan i hope so, but, let's not forget that to defeat Dahlia Nike had to kill Mikael, they had to trick Davina, they condemned Kol to remain among the ancestors. There's absolutely some consequences.

Kol is not the bad guy here. Not this time. He's not trying to hurt them this time, this is not about revenge, if this were about revenge he would've tried something after Davina died. This is him seeing a chance to save someone he loves, someone who's always loved him.

I hear you but to do that he will possible sacrifice everyone including his brother and his young niece so I'm not sure that doesn't make him the bad guy in this instance. We shall see. I like Kol but I just feel like this storyline is taking him backwards instead of forwards but i guess for Kol, caring about anyone but himself is moving forward... so confused! LOL!

I think Freya would be willing to sacrifice Hope if it meant saving Elijah. She put a 7-year-old girl in a pendant with a man who was out of his mind. Hope could've been hurt. Why is it so hard for her to try to do what's right instead of what's easy?

Judi Gemini this isn't about what Nate says, what he says is irrelevant to the discussion of what Kol should do - he can't be upset and claim that this family isn't accepting of him if he then acts as if his family and the safety of his flesh and blood niece matters less - and just because Hope is powerful doesn't somehow mean let's keep putting her in danger and let the kid take care of herself, she's a child, as her family, as her uncle, it is HIS duty to protect her - she's not his child but it doesn't mean she's not his blood - if nothing else, he owes it to Hayley who spent all those years trying to help and protect him and the family. And by your logic about powers, well Davina is a grown woman and powerful witch, she should be more than able to take care of herself so why not protect an actual innocent child who sees you as family and uncle and figure out another way to save Davina? if Kol risks Hope's life to save Davina, then he is no different than the family that he blames and resents, only this time, he's worse than them because Davina was in a bad position due to her own choices, Hope is actually an innocent child who's done nothing but trying to protect this family, him included. If this didn't involve Hope, I'd be saying, yes, go for it, he should get to be selfish once, he deserves to, but this isn't about a family who hasn't treated him right, this is about a little girl, his own blood, being in danger - a little girl who is sweet and kind and only wants to help, a little girl who would happily and willingly put herself in danger for her family, for Kol, and frankly whom if Kol asked Hope to help him save Davina, she would do it in a heartbeat even if it meant being in danger because that's the kind of person Hope is.

BetaArtemis haha how is nate, the person who plays the actual character, irrelevant lmao.. he knows his character better than anyone, all you're doing is making demands about what he should & shouldn't do when the fact is that it is he who basically understands his character better than you & knows exactly what his character would do. And he doesn't owe them jackshit, it was Davina that gave him his life and they threw her to the wolves. Hayley OWED Kol after they sacrificed the person that loves him the most so they could live. Not to mention all the times Kol came to save their asses. At the end of the day however, it is Davina that loves him the most and that is why he'll choose her. He was never a priority for them so it's no surprise why Davina is his priority & not them. Kol cares for Davina whether you like it or not and he's not gonna turn his back on her for anyone. & I don't know what logic you see there, Davina isn't strong enough to take out the hollow, Hope however has proven to be more powerful at her age than anyone else and she's the one with the connection to the hollow's weakness so yeah whether she's a kid or not she's basically the one in the best position to stop the hollow, & she has Freya & everybody else running around trying to keep her safe too, it's just common sense. And right now this isn't about hope bc she isn't in immediate danger, right now their main focus is saving Elijah, & they're even ready to sacrifice Marcel for him, but I dont doubt that's fine by you because everyone should just be ready & willing to die so that the mikaelsons get their way. It doesn't matter how perfect & innocent hope is, doesn't mean Kol should care any less or is gonna care any less about Davina he'll do whatever it takes for her, this isn't a matter of who is more deserving of being saved, it's really just about who kol loves more, & in the end he loves her more than any of them, & with good reason

Really? We're talking about a young woman who moved heaven and earth to bring him back, who saw him at his worst and her love for him never wavered, who could have been extremely bitter because she spent all that time looking for a way to save him but was sacrificed instead but didn't regret everything she did for Kol for one moment.
