I love LOVE this episode....The adorableness with Klaus and his daughter, I love that little actress such a great job she made Hope instantly likable beyond all bounds. You will see the 13 Episode count is somehow a perfect format for those seasons, things move steady not rushed just a bit quicker and more consicely...For all the great things in season 2 and 3 especially there was a lot of fat outside of the main intrigue, which I like, but i also love that in the two last seasons they did their thing preparing an intrigue, setting it up, and executing it way more efficiently

I always treat this as kind of a comfort episode because of all the great Mikaelson content we get. Obviously the Klaus and Hope scenes are just lovely. Seeing them bond is so sweet. But we also have Elijah and Haley finally getting to be happy and together, Rebekah and Klaus deciding to go live life together, and even Haley at the end saying she need both Elijah and Klaus I LOVE IT. The Mikaelson’s just feel like a family this episode and at their strongest.

Kol is always logical. Klaus and Hopes scene are perfect, him being upset when they dont instantly connect, her being a little hesitant. Them slowly bonding while painting, its beautifully done. Love more Vincent and Eva background.

Matt is the worst now tho, in TVD? I remember him getting a lot worse. So no, let's not send Rebekah back to Matt 😂 Klaus and Hope are so cute! Young Hope is beyond adorable! Them painting together was my favourite part of the episode, That and Rebekah's moment with Klaus. Yes, he did keep her daggered for years but she was always the one who treated him the best i think. I would have loved to see more moments with Rebekah and Hope in this episode. She did take care of her for a while so that would have been cute. I really like the Vincent and Marcel duo too! I also don't think Marcel wants to hurt them anymore because he seems genuinely done with the whole situation. If he was to hurt someone it would always be Elijah, which i do get. Freya was being so annoying in this episode. She seems more paranoid than even Klaus, which is crazy. Marcel literally let them go. Freya using this poor woman like that was pretty awful to see.

Well Marcel using Davina to murder and torture innocent witches for months was truly awful what Freya did is flyweight compared to Marcel he’s part of the reason Davina is dead but y’all don’t want to admit the truth for some reason. I really liked seeing the flashbacks with Eva and Vincent this episode. They were super interesting. Marcel and Vincent make a great duo. The Klaus and Hope scenes were so adorable this episode. Love the actress who plays Hope. I can’t stand the way Freya is treating Keelin right now. She is becoming way too obsessed with protecting her family, to the point where she’s becoming completely uncaring about anyone. Her attitude really irritates me this season. Love Kol and Rebecca together as well!

Freya is the best thats facts. Marcel and Vincent are great at being dangerous. This episode reminds team Marcel he was homicidal dictator who oppressed werewolves and witches. He was so cruel to witches he tormented those who weren’t in New Orleans Vincent was one of those so he decided he needed magic that would wreck Marcel. Eva wanted to protect her child from a dude who murdered witches who did for no good reason got hooked and child sacrifices were needed so cuz of Marcel children were being killed. Also back in season 2 Vincent knew what Eva was doing and said nothing he’s worse or just as bad as Davina at being a witch the only witch that we knew that is actually good at her job is Freya.

The thing I love about the originals is that family always comes first and matters but sometimes they take it too far but in this case I like it and I like that close has grown so much his personal growth has grown so much but Elijah is still I still don't like you I still don't like you for what you're going to do to Haley but I'm just going to make you all have your happiness for now until you start crying but I like this episode and I can't wait for this to for the hollow to come in and things are happening and hope gets me a lot more powerful
