There's a funny story about Orks. There was a Space Marine that were surrounded by Orks. His gun ran out of ammo, so he grabbed a dead Ork's gun and held down the trigger. Of course, the gun doesn't fire. The clicking sound actually surprised the Orks. Because to them, that gun should be firing. And just like that the gun starts firing again.

The voice you’ve forged in place of our beloved Mr. Attenborough does not dishearten your devoted spectators in the slightest. I am kept in a state of great anticipation until I’m allowed to indulge in your forthcoming sermons regarding the impossibility of Warhammer Lore.

Imagine the utter mind breaking confusion an Ork must get when he sees that a bright red Khornate bloodletter isn’t faster than a purple Slaaneshi daemonette. …but then again, they probably wouldn’t see the daemonette.

They have forsaken the noble principles that define true Orkishness and thus are unworthy of bearing the esteemed title of Orks. Their souls have succumbed to the allure of heresy and they have become mere shadows of their former selves. The Snakebites stand as a beacon of purity, a testament to the enduring legacy of the Orks. Their rejection of heretical technology and their unyielding adherence to the ancient ways make them paragons of unwavering Orkishness amongst their kind. They serve as a stark reminder of the timeless traditions that define the Orks, and the lamentable fall from grace that has befallen the other Klanz who have strayed from the path of righteousness.

Played this a few times decades ago. -Had some Harlequin figures, CAN'T WAIT till that video! Thanks for the lore. Snake-Bite Clan reminded me I still have Thar's Manual of Good Conduct.

Teeth being their currency actually makes perfect sense: On top of being a predictable, yet limited material (while they grow back indefinitely, the old ones eventually deteriorate and break after having been detached from the Ork that grew them), and having obtained teeth and still being alive means you either overpowered or outsmarted another Ork (or a beast of some kind), the two concepts that their gods value. Basically, the more teeth you have, the more capable of an Ork you are, meaning you should be rewarded with having access to more luxuries than the less valuable specimens.

I hope one day you can bless us with a new version of the time mr Attenborough was captured by orks and forced to tell stories of famous war bosses. Maybe it could be a chance to see what your new OC looks like 😀

I wonder if in 40K the Orks are the one race that is really, truly *happy*. There are fanatics everywhere, the Necrons dont really feel anything, the Dark Eldar and the Slaanesh are sort of perverted and feel pain as pleasure. But just in simple, straightforward terms: The Orks are *happy*. They enjoy life. They love their jobs.

I miss the days when the Ork clans looked really distinctive, rather than just being colour schemes.
