You have taught wrong about ortho para directing deactivating group because halogens are showing - I as well as +M effect and in the case of halogens -I dominates over +M and for the reactivity it is coming under deactivating group and for the orientation it acts as an ortho para directing group.

Sorry ma'am but aap kuch bhi bol dete ho jaise ki aap bol rhe ho ki halogen deactivate the ring and don't allow attack on o/p position, seriously mam It only deactivate the ring but makes the attack possible on o/p position only. This is what it indicates - o/p directing and deactivating. Please mam this makes a complete mess of the concept.
