you should buy the deluxe version, like it has 3 octaves and a line out for put it on an amp

Changing the volume also shifts the pitch a bit. You might be able to find some of the missing notes that way :)

The deluxe otamatone is honestly so much better and worth the 60 bucks, it's easier to do metal solos on it.

Check out the Otomatone Deluxe or Otomatone Techno, both of which can be plugged into an amp. The Techno can also utilize app's on the I-Phone or I-Pad to give additional instrument voicings.

There are some crazy otamatone players out there

For more pitches you can get the Otamatone Techno it's almost like twice the size plus you can plug it in your phone for certain apps plug it into amps or headphones and an adjustable volume nob .

really surprised you haven't put a tuner to it and marked in the side fret marks. Does it have a plug for an amp/headphones. I could see putting that thru a whammy pedal or making pad sounds with a delay pedal

Rob all the problems with the Touchpad is fixed with an Otamatone Deluxe it's touch sensetive to my knowledge and it has more settings i believe

It'd be interesting if they could make a new version of it with multiple voicings or waveforms. Perhaps the squeaky scissor sound could be reduced/removed with some WD40? also... get the big one and put a strap on it! Otamatone Acapella - there's another idea. Sorry i'm just kind of vomiting up some thoughts. Anywho, entertaining as always!
