I just had a phone call with Imam Hassan Mustafa, he is the Imam of Masjid Al-Huda at Amarillo Texas same city for that Mosque. He informed me that a Muslim contactor built this masjid in 2010 and it cost him over 3 millions USD however he built it in a location very far from any Muslim community. Imam Hassan also added that he used to be an Imam of that Masjid in 2016, and on Jumma prayers they never had more than 10-15 people. Sadly the location of the Masjid and number of Muslims living nearby were the main cause for this problem. Now the owner is putting the building for sale. 😢
