just realized how much my mom relates to this song… my mother was chosen first but was thrown aside like a broken toy my father didn’t want to play with anymore. he cheated on her after 13 years of marriage, despite knowing that she tried to fix the relationship and considered it a small little mistake. she convinced herself that she was the main chick, that she was the one my father loved, but because of my father’s selfishness and childish behavior immediately shut that down once my mom found out he was still seeing her. she ended up giving up and kicked him out; she resorted to alcoholism in 2020. she’s remained sober for about 2 months. though that isn’t a really long time and the habit could easily be brought back again, I’m still proud of her progress and I do my best to encourage her but it’s hard when you’re dealing with your own shit too. but again I do try and the one thing I wish for in this world is for my mother to be happy.

Not that this even has anything to do with this song but i just need to rant and get it out. You don’t have to pay attention to this or read it if you don’t want to. There’s this guy who is in my eyes perfect and i genuinely think i’m in love with him. I started to have a little crush on him without even knowing him, kinda just a hallway crush i thought he was very cute. I told one of my guy friends who i didn’t know was friends with him. I told him to ask the guy if he was talking to anyone or had a gf and if he wanted my snap. He said he didn’t have a gf or talking to anyone and said he wanted my snap. It was the week of my birthday and we were just snapping back and forth not really much of conversations. I liked him alot and it felt more than just a small crush just cuz i thought he was cute. The next week on monday he told me that he was gaining feelings. I was quite literally the happiest person in the weird. I would overthink alot though which would lead us to arguing. He would give me reassurance but i would still say some pretty harsh things and i know that’s my fault. We talked that whole week but then that weekend he admitted that he was losing feelings because of the overthinking and arguing. I was so broken from that. We still talked for 2 days after that but on February 14 ( aka valentine’s day) i asked if he lost all feelings and he said “ i think so”. It hurt so bad but i knew there was nothing that i could do about it. I unadded him that day at school because of it, then later i added him again cuz i felt bad and seeing the “ accept friend” hurt me so i just added him again. I left school early that day because i felt so hurt and so numb. I hated that i let it get to me but i knew i couldn’t stay at school ( i only had 1 class left and it was study hall so it didn’t really matter).The next day he reached out apologizing to me and talking about how he’s sorry how things ended. Some people may say it was sweet but i was angry at it because of the way he made it sound. He made it sound like he was going to say he still had feelings and it hurt. I hated him for that and i still do. It’s been almost 2 months and i still can’t get over him. I don’t cry as much as i did at first but there has still not been a full day where i haven’t cried at least 2 times. He has a gf now and i’m still stuck on him. I lose feelings very fast for people but no matter how much closure i’ve had i still have that gut feeling of us talking again. I keep seeing so many signs like angel numbers and those stupid tarot readings on tiktok and let me just say they are very accurate it’s crazy. I keep telling myself not to believe it but i’m still believing it. I miss him so much and i love him. Sorry for that i just needed to get it off my chest.
I thought my partner was the person who would be there for the rest of my life, they loved me like no other..but as we progressed I told them to trust me.
