All guitars have a little Maynard in them. It just takes the skill of an Ernesto to coax it out. (The man we know as MJK was similarly summoned by Adam Jones, but made flesh by some weird light that came out of Danny's drums.)
I listen to multiple tens of thousands of hours of music per year. I used it to drown out environmental noise while focusing on my work. I've heard every single Tool and APC song, and cover from about every band out there. Ernesto, absolutely, and consistently nails the emotional quality and spirit of every song he plays. This man is not merely a musician, nor an artist, or even a virtuoso. The man is flat out amazing and inspirational. Ernesto, thank you for everything you have done, Spiral out, Keep going!
First time hearing Ernesto. Introduced my now 11 yr old daughter to APC a few years ago and she absolutely LOVES this song. Gonna play this tomorrow morning as her wake up for school alarm song!
For those who might not know about it, there is here on RU-vid an audio recording of A Perfect Circle's acoustic sessions from a radio show several years ago. Search: "APC acoustic sessions". It's like 20 minutes of APC doing their songs unplugged. There's Sleeping Beauty, The Outsider, and my favorite version of Orestes that is just haunting. If you like Ernesto's version (which you certainly should), then you'll want to hear that short concert.
Go look at the trending music section on RU-vid and you’ll know why it wasn’t. The mass doesn’t like real instruments or compositions anymore. Very odd to say the least....
Lmfao it's not trending because RU-vid doesn't care about real artists. It's all money money money while cramming down our throats, what their (garbage) algorithm thinks we want to see. RU-vid can eat a D I C K. Twice.
Worldbuilding appeared in my "recommended for you" in the "Discover" category of the "browse" section of Spotify. I'm on the third track called "You Are My Natural Selection" and need to go to bed. It's almost 2am and I can't stop listening. Thanks a whole of a lot, Ernesto!
Ahhh... this was the first song I got to know about APC... Such beautiful memories, and now you upload this magnificent sublime jewel to youtube.... I can't express how much I love this! THANK YOU :DD KEEP ON ROCKIN' MAN
Hello Ernesto! I'm a fellow serious guitar player myself. Whenever I get into a rut, as we all do, as guitarists once and a while. I come to your channel for inspiration! You're an amazing guitar player and adding the vocal lines is just icing on the cake. You're a very talented musician. Keep up the excellent work. And we happen to love the same bands. Deftones, A Perfect Circle and TOOL. 🤘🤘☠👍👍👍🤘👌👌🎸🎸
Okay. Ernesto has *always* impressed me with his precision play *and* his ability to create the "voice" of the lyrical portion of the songs he covers, but . . . . I'm speechless, and on my third listen of this song. This is instantly added to my list of Best Covers Forever (in no particular order): 1) NIN's "Hurt" by Johnny Cash 2) Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" by Hendrix 3) Lennon's "Imagine" by APC . . . . . . and now 4) APC's "The Outsider" by Schnack **THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE** Love it. Keep doing what you're doing, Ernesto!
Just found Ernesto a little while back. Genius lyricless instrumentals/covers that play perfectly in the home office as well as outside around the fire pit. What a talent!!! Thanks for all your hard work!
We love and honor the same songs....transformational - showing me feelings I didn't know where there in the original PC sog....thank you for sharing your gifts Ernesto. So glad you are using that fat Martin and those thin Taylors.
Man I've been waiting for this one quite some time honestly I want to thank you since your music and covers always inspire me and push my guitar playing forward so thank you.
Actually have to say, you nailed it. I wasnt expecting this. Very nice blend of rythm part and melody part. And also well recorded, really enjoy the vibrant and wide sound. Great job!
Do you use some Kind of reverb? How does your guitar sound so good? Damn. I really appreciate your covers. Sometimes they are better then original version
Ernesto!! I’ve waited for this moment and you made it so much better than I had hoped. This song is already extraordinary and what you bring you the table in your skill, passion, and sound make it even more so. As always I love you and your work. Please never stop. ❤️
