Hey there Frenchie couple. Frazer gave you a bit more adventure and unexpected turns?? Glad it was only the rubbers in the clutch M/cyl. At first, before you showed the fluid leak, I was concerned it might be the clutch fork that had failed. A well known LR weakness. Even when the fork is reinforced, they have been known to still break!! Be aware.... Also you should try and change the fluid once a year especially as you are travelling in high humidity areas. Hope you enjoyed the Defender meet and sorry I couldn't be there. Ciao for now. H
Hello there, you have found our Paradise, isn’t Fraser just so beautiful, you may have already travelled further south, if not you must also visit another Island of Paradise, it’s called Stradbroke Island ( Northern end) camping on beaches is permitted, fresh water lakes and gorgeous views up high to watch the whales nursing their young and heading south. Never mind if you missed it, the memories and footage of Fraser/ K’gari will be with you always. Cheers from an Aussie that will always call Fraser Island Fraser. 😅
The whales, dolphins, rays and turtles were so amazing to see. All in one place. How lucky! What a beautiful Island! Glad you guys can fix your mechanical problems. You always get lucky in finding help!
What an epically beautiful and memorable place. That little town might be the best place on earth to live in. Why, why, why, would anyone want to go to Mars and live out their life there? Earth and Fraser Island may be the best place in the universe. Elon Musk can heve Mars. Give me Earth and Fraser Island or give me death. Stop there. You do not need to go further. That is as good as life gets! But, I am open to surprises.
MAGNIFIQUE !!! Tout simplement une vidéo magnifique! Parfait pour un après-midi a dimanche quand tu as bien dormir et ton cerveau est bien ouvert pour un aventure extraordinaire avec Albo, Nick et Mathilde! Merci beaucoup mes amis
Another great video, getting near my part of aus now- Northern nsw. Owned defenders for many years myself, only use dot3 fluid in your clutch master if you don’t know. Dot4 always leads to early failures.
Beautiful video of Fraser/K’gari. We love to visit there every few years, it’s a wonderful place to explore. We’re pretty proud of only getting bogged once 🤣 We were able to get ourselves out thank goodness but we saw plenty of great people helping each other when stuck. Enjoy! ✌🏼🇦🇺
Oh my gosh, guys. What a video. I’m speechless. K’Gary/Fraser is incredible - all the marine life you were able to capture on the drone was unbelievable!! Well done!!!
Thankyou for educating me about my country with such footage and commentary. Our original LR was sold to a tourist outfit on Fraser Island so we were told after we traded it on a Discovery 2.
Definitely #1 on the best place to be! I wonder what the law is on putting up a straw hut to spend the rest of my days? Can’t wait to see your next video!
dont forget to check out the Victoria high country on your way down to Tassie some great 4x4 tracks there .Also plenty of free camps along the Murray River between Yarrawonga and Cobram possibly at other locations as well .
Waw, I've been following you guys for about 2 years and you keep on amazing me with al your videos... They even get better and better each time! When I'm watching them, I feel like I'm abroad as well... So thank you both so much!!! :)
Oh yea Fraser island one of Australias truely great over landing areas , it was one of are favorite areas in Australia . Wow you two sure got some awesome drone videos there . Wish when we were there we would of had drones to film with back then . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🌏🍻👍🏼😁
Day 888 that will bring Good Luck according to the Chinese Asiatic culture seem to have a thing about certain numbers the Japanese for instance consider the number 4 as Bad Luck, Fraser island as I will always know it is pretty amazing much more diversity than you at first think. Much like Australia itself which is so diverse and make sure to note the PC stuff about Aboriginal nations there never was an Aboriginal nation just assorted isolated tribes with different languages and traditions and cultures just like everywhere else on this Planet. Tasmania is pretty unique however and manages to fit so much into a smallish Island so do not forget to see Tassie Hint when you have a leaking clutch hydraulic system remember the reason it leaks is because the pistons move probably 10 times further than do Brake Caliper pistons at the slave cylinder end leading to much more wear, A quick effective fix is to replace the brake fluid which is very much consistent with the viscosity of water hence why it leaks ust go to a motorcycle shop and get some 10 weight Fork Oil as the extra viscosity will stop it leaking or bypassing till a proper repair can be done and because it is designed for seals it will not damage the clutch hydraulics. When bleeding brakes or a clutch as long as it has not run dry you can use something like a clean 600 ML Coca Cola bottle full of brake fluid up ended in the master cylinder it will not overflow but will keep the fluid reserviour topped up and then simply open a brake bleed nipple till the air stops coming out. The reason you do this is under normal circumstances the master cylinder does not move so far and if as usual it is somewhat second hand it will have a wear ridge and if you pump the master cylinder past this wear ridge it will destroy the seals requiring more time and money to fix and in some places not a good option, That is why you use the gravity bleeding method as then the master cylinder seals do not go past the wear rirge and get damaged
