There's a lot of lesbian representation on tv because its easier to get away with but luz is 1 of 2 bi characters in tv that i know of even if neither of them are male. Im a bi male so i just want more bi rep ya feel. Also no i dont expect you to start forming feelings for another gender but Amity is at the age i started exploring my sexuality and i sure as hell didn't have it figured out, i still identified as straight back then!

(Which wasn't even that long ago so it is very much possible that she already knows, even if deep down at least, that she's not actually attracted to men.) But then I found out comphet is a thing and it explained a lot of things, and Amity exhibited that behaviour too (drawing herself with a Male-presenting character trying to convince herself she's straight). Please don't try to make it into a lesbians vs bisexuals thing we have enough of that already thank you. It's not "easier to get away" with having les characters. I'd say I've seen more bi characters on tv actually and I'm so happy that Amity is les. Representation doesn't look the same to everyone but Luz is also bi so I don't understand why Amity should be bi too. I mean it'd be great but her being les is also making a lot of people feel represented! The thing about bi males in media has more to do with internalized sexism and that idea that you are either a straight male manly macho or gay which is ridiculous, and I would like to see more mlm rep in media but trying to argue that a canon lesbian character could be bi is not the way to go. Bi rep does not make lesbian erasure ok

Though liking nonbinary people would also count as being bisexual, as the definition is "attraction to one or more genders" not necessarily "attraction to male and female genders." Especially because someone might not be into people who are, say, socially female, but might be into a nonbinary person who is biologically female. It's really up to the specific situation.
