The first owl looks like our burrowing owls he’s really neat

They are also known as "The Screaming Woman Owl". If they find themselves in a potentially dangerous situation, for instance there is a cat on the prowl, they will let out a LOUD scream, which sounds just like a woman. The scream is so much like a screaming woman that they have been reported to the police. I heard one once. I lived in a flat and it was quiet in the evening. Suddenly there was a loud scream. I went outside but there was nothing further, and nobody else seemed to have heard it. An hour later I heard the "woof woof" of a barking owl, and knew what had happened. The scream is so incredibly loud that it cannot possibly be done by a human being.
