Josh is a cool dude, I remember I was messaging tons of people in the weed industry when I was just starting to post a lot and he was one of the only ones who responded
Josh is what you call a productive "stoner" ... knowledgeable in all aspects of life and business, and not just about getting baked and being cool. I have so much respect for Josh.
Josh is smart asf if you say not you’re lying. You can hate weed but if you can’t respect business and what this man has accomplished I don’t know what to tell u
@@eliegaffen5689 let me pose a cool thought: if every kid nowadays wanted to be an entrepreneur like it was a religion and were bred by their environment (media family school etc) to be that more than anything else and from a very young age (hypothetically ofc), the whole economy will change for not the better, but the best, because then, laziness as a disease would slowly but surely dissolve and the minimum wage would drastically increase to where it’s supposed to be while prices remain somewhat the same as they are now or maybe even pre inflation because now those other roles are not as easy to fill or sought after so the salary and demand for those roles increase! More entrepreneurs means more competition more ideas and progressive thinking and doing which means a better chance for us to be that advanced infinitely efficient society that Elon musk dreams of us being and The likelihood of humanity existing in other worlds and colonizing would increase as well which means that the future of humanity is to be solidified meaning that there’s no chance in hell we would go extinct and the only way to go from here on out it’s for us to evolve to be even better and better and better and smarter and more efficient and happier and healthier live longer invent cool and useful new shit and do cool ass things, etc. lol All disease cancer war famine etc. would drastically reduce and eventually get eliminated Lmao this is a stretch and then some im just bored lmao but hey food for thought😇😂
He has some history in my hometown of Madison, WI. There’s a smoke shop on state street downtown with an old motorcycle of his posted up in the middle of everything So when I asked him about it during one of his live videos, and he confirmed it was true and not made up 👍👍
The one thing I love about Josh, above all else, is how interactive he is. I run a small headshop in the UK, and he saw and commented on my posts that I tagged him in, gave me advice, was kind when we found a mistake in my supplier at the time, and he regularly takes on feedback and thoughts. Humble guy for the willy wonka of weed
As someone who has been using raw products almost exclusively, this just cemented my decision to stick with them to the end. Josh is such a gem of a human being.
try elements. raws have a taste to them that imo kinda sucks, elements are just like raws but instead of that weird taste its a subtle sweetness its nice asf
Yooo, I’m halfway through and when Josh choked up about his people at the water well, it made me truly see how much of a pure soul this man has. A living legend, truly. ❤️
As an Ethiopian, this episode hit hard for me. I’m glad Josh is trying to create a better life for my people. Thank you Yola this one really made my day. Easily one of my favorite episodes🔥🔥🔥
You can tell he really cares about helping people. I would have had no idea he had accomplished so many things, and his heart still breaks thinking about what's happened in Ethiopia. He's so much more than just the owner of raw, I didn't expect much going into this episode because I didn't know who he was. Very glad I clicked on this video.
This was probably one of the most insightful episodes of the podcast yet. 🙏💯 josh is so cool and so many problems could be solved with more people thinking like this..
as someone very fascinated by stories and language, Josh Kesselman is by far the best storyteller I've ever seen and that is not a joke. He has a balance of genuine excitement and attention to detail that is unmatched and it makes his stories incredibly enthralling.
Super stoked, I had requested this guest a while ago. Great to see it come true. Thanks Thomas!!! Thanks to everyone on the podcast team, y’all are Awesome!!!!🍾🍾
Huge regret not introducing myself to Josh at High Times 2018. Max respect to all of y’all. Thanks for doing this. Shout out the Moors bringing the first papers to Europe. We really do get higher together 😎🙌🏾💯
The amount of advice, joy and inspiration that the last hour of this amazing podcast brought me on one of my lowest points…is unmatched. Thank you Thomas and Josh for this new perspective on how to think a little bit further than yourself
This podcast hits DIFFERENT my guys it’s like I can feel both of your positive auras and knowledge seeping into me as a viewer and it’s fucking crazy that y’all can have that impact on people and be hundreds of miles away
What a freaking gem of an episode and guest bro! This was definitely everything this podcast stands for! You guys truly know how to manifest nothing but greatness, and you guys are pioneers for the industry! I love you guys!!!
Josh is probably the only "rich guy" I can say I respect. Money hasn't changed him into a selfish robot like most big CEO's. Respect for giving back to the people in need, you only need so much yourself to survive.
you legit see the childlike excitement in josh’s attitude about all of his inventions and projects!! thats why he’s successful because hes fucking happy 😎😎
I really love Josh’s energy and attitude. Every interview or video I’ve seen him do, you can tell he’s a genuinely good dude and what you see is what you get. Great video, man.
Josh is aware of his finite time and is capitalizing on it in the most inspiring, world-changing fashion and its sooo fucking dope. Biggups Yola and the Dope as Usual family for this amazing episode, ya'll are walking the right path and we're all along for the ride. The energy is here for a reason!
Love this episode hearing Josh's story's about his company and life really did amaze me and just realizing how a great guy he is wow its truly touching god bless you both it's only the beginning more greatest yet to come ❤🙏🏼
yo this is topped all other episode but then again i say this after every other guest you bring but this one here was inspirational something i needed to hear KEEP BEING DOPE AS USUAL THOMAS
this is one of the most inspiring thing i have seen in a long time both you and josh have the same look on life and it really helps me realizes i can do more
After watching this and having absorbed the information after a while it’s made me think a lot more about my mindset and doing better. This man is an inspiration and I’m upset I didn’t know how amazing he was until this podcast. Thank you Yola and Josh for an amazing and eye opening experience into not just the world of cannabis but the world of humanity❤️
Josh, Thomas, Marty, and co- thank you for this podcast. So many of the guests that come on I don't know, or haven't heard of. I've known of Josh for some time, seen some clips and such, but I've never seen a full convo like this. Nothing but inspirational. Thank you, Josh, for being vulnerable with us. Thank you for everything you've done. I love everything all of y'all (DaUP, Raw, and Josh) do. We all appreciate it. peace n love
Just wanted to say a big thank You to dope as Yolas employees editors and Everyone of his team for editing & social media , your doing a great job & obviously you amazing Thomas to !
You guys nailed it! Absolutely killed this one! I just got lost while watching this, Josh is such a good storyteller and the three of you compliment each other very well!! 👏 GOOD. SHIT. YOU. GUYS!! 🔥📈
I have trouble sitting down and paying attention to shit for hours on end so usually I take breathers during podcast episodes to allow my attention to come back. This is the only episode I’ve where I have legitimately sat down and just stared and listened. Thank you both for the knowledge! Also thank you Marty for always knowing when to pop in and when to just let it run, best in the game for sure.
1:26:36 You wouldn't think that a conversation like this would come up in a video about rolling papers but it shows the type of person Josh is, i had no idea he was doing this type of activism ❤
After seeing this guy on insta constantly I feel like I met him just by watching and hour of this podcast, really opened my eyes on things and where we're at in life and where we are headed
Yo I've only heard about n seen this guy in videos a couple times but actually listening to the podcast, it almost feels as of you personally met him he is 100% authentic n has a big heart and passion. You just gotta love this man simple and organic as he likes his products
the world is built upside down and irony in all of it, the man who knows he doesn’t know anything weirdly knows it all; art of kid like wonderment is they key to a lot in life.
man i just feel weird watching this after the lawsuit, idk everything yet but the lawsuit is just looking kinda sus man, fake charity, false advertisement, THEIR PAPERS NOT EVEN BEING MADE IN SPAIN, it’s just crazy that he straight lied about these things to everyone, and i just really wanna know the truth because the entire community looked up to josh and looked at him like a incredible figure in the weed community who did so much for weed smokers but also a lot of charity, not sure if all of the charities were fake but if they weren’t it’s like why do one fake charity, i just really want some answers from josh but i’m not sure he’s allowed to talk about it because of the case
@@Lothanen yea ive done some research as some more information came out, the papers themselves arent made in alcoy, spain, but yet in alcoy, spain thats where they put the gumline, package it and everything like that
also josh is an iconic guy! I'm a huge supporter for everything he is doing... even when I first bought raw products I noticed that what I bought was more than just an idea and since then I've been locking into what you're building....innovative, driven, passionate, positive, optimistic, educated and consistent. THIS MAN IS SPECIAL...I AM grateful FOR ALL HE AND HIS TEAM DONE
My name is Michelle Yates and Thomas I've watched your videos for yrs.I just watched the colab with Josh from RAW and I couldn't help but cry.He is an angel a fuckin Angel. He is a beautiful man .I held on to every word.one moment he had me in aw and in disbelief. Not only does he know the history of his dream that he achieves daily that came from a warm childhood memory from his father but built an empire from it and gave back to the word from the profits of it.That video was deep and by far my favorite colab up to this point.Josh should run for President no joke.Love you and everything you do.
2:50:50 me literally just sitting here chilling and listening to these guys, just trying to get any advice i can from some more experienced people that i respect. what an amazing episode this has been. i didn’t get bored ONCE in the 3 hours of you guys talking. Thomas was reacting the same way i was after every insightful thought josh had, which really helped me connect with you guys and be “part of the conversation”, guess we all really are just a big stoner family. the josh’s comment at the end (time stamp at the start of my comment) really hit me and i genuinely felt like he was talking to me. for all of you reading this, listen to josh, there is always room for your dreams. we all gonna make it if we truly go for it.
It’s so ironic how Josh is the owner of Raw. Seeing as he is the most raw form of human. This man has a seriously beautiful heart and wants nothing but good for everyone. Listening to him gets me so inspired. Thank you guys for this episode :)
This is one im very excited for! Not that im not excited every week but man this will be a good one. Josh is an interesting character with so many stories
genuinely made my night and has given me a complete reconstruction on my work ethic, you guys are both so insightful and provide a element thats so inviting, like a free college lecture to your favorite subject. Thank you so much man.
Man this was the best podcast I have ever watched in my life. The impact I got from watching this was incredible. Absolutely fun to watch and so much information to take in that made me just want to keep going and to never give up on anything ‼️💯
Already know this will be one of the best episodes yet, josh kesselman is such an interesting an genuine person. Thanks for the dope ass episode yola!!! Btw yola, are you ever going to sell other THC derivatives?
25:03 just fucking wow Josh, from talking to one of the original artisans of those rolling papers then tribute elements to them and your father just wow man the goosebumps i feel. I fr have to meet these weed tubers not for fame but to learn about them just their story. Proud of you Thomas im serious from watching you in hugh school to now being 22 man its amazing. Heres to many more great fucking years for you, your friends and companies. Massive love Yola you definitely impacted my life ❤️
seen a few things about josh but this podscast is truly amazing i think that this is my favorit one so far cas every time he started explaining a story i would picture what he was saying he is truly such a good story teller and genuine persone much love and respect to him
thank you all for your time I'm really wanting to create my business soon and change my family and I's life cannot wait to meet you all one day and thank you for your wisdom!
It's fulfilling when you have someone come up to you that you tried to help a little in the past and have them tell you you changed their life. I've had people come back to me a year later or more saying I helped them the most out of anyone and I inspired them. The most recent person to do this happened to do it not even a week after my dog had died, which was almost three weeks ago. They had no idea that it had happened but it was just the right time because I had been a wreck. When they said that I didn't feel better and suddenly wasn't sad but it really made me ok with it.
I have unknowingly been buying Josh’s products my entire life. From element to juicys and so much more. When I first saw raw, I glommed onto it and loved the quality and the innovative products
I'm so stoked I went looking for this episode. Josh, dude ! You have a way of telling a story that a person can not get totally pulled into your thoughts.. Thanks again for doing what you all do, Josh, Thomas, and not to forget Marty 👏 👏👏
I remember the first time i used a raw product. I had just gotten into smoking regularly, and a mentor of mine gave me a pack of king slims and a raw rolling machine. It saved me so much time and ever since ive been buying raw for pretty much everything i roll.
Fairly new sub to you guys, i just wanted to say thanks. i recently was in a motorcycle wreck, lost my job, and at the lowest point in my life thus far, im 23. thank you for giving people a place to come chill and vibe. much love!
For one fake charity?! I just wanna know this person of color isn't being abused wait why should it matter if cuz he's Spanish he's a person of color or not
@@gsisnotnovakdjokovicaheroandyo the glue is one of a dozen things they cant market anymore, like the made in spain lable, do more research cause they actually admitted that they are produced in france
The genuine happiness, empathy and overall just being an amazing free spirit, a lot of respect and thank you for becoming a pioneer Josh. Wish I had half the knowledge this guy holds.
First time I’ve actually watched your podcast and it just fills that spot in my brain that I feel like I’ve been missing, everything on RU-vid and netflix is becoming repetitive, this is a breathe of fresh air
I'm not going to lie I have been doing other things and watching other things this week and I'm just getting around to watching this but I can sit and watch this man talk for hours
Great podcast. A friend who saw my love and care in rolling recommended a raw cone he called an all day joint. This was in 2015. I’ve been a raw customer ever since.
