Tyrese Haliburton has not been the same player for months for the Indiana Pacers, and against the Milwaukee Bucks that is a HUGE problem... #pacers #haliburton #pacersbucks
He came back too early from a hamstring injury in order to get the 65 game and minutes requirement. Similar to James Harden, was still playing at an MVP level but got a hamstring injury in the playoffs vs Bucs and tried to play through it, hasn't been at that level since. These players are so used to a range of motion for years, that rushing a hamstring injury completely eliminates. That's why Harden has stretches were it looks like he lost the ability to score despite still having a great handle and reliable jumpshot. His blow bys and stepback are significantly effected.
That's a huge over exaggeration of Harden or hamstring injuries. Harden decline comes from a bunch of things the biggest one being his age. Hes well past his prime. Also he spent his whole career learning how to take advantage of foul calls and get to the line then all of a sudden the nba implemented 4 new rules to stop that (which I personally like) so of course after 10 years of playing one way his scoring going to go down. Lastly his decline is also because since leaving Houstan he has never been the number 1 scoring option. He is talented enough to change his play style from a ball dominant scorer to an awesome playmaker.
Wtf dude every star player is playing same amount of games and playing through injuries . I said his flaws were he is not physical enough or aggressive enough to go at the rim so just jam him on the 3 point line I called it last year and mid season playoff games are different. He is not aggressive or going to the hole because he will get injured
As a pacers fan, I was desperate when I saw them rushing him back from injury. His injury was pretty simple, the only thing that could go wrong was not waiting until he is 100%.... and that's exactly what the pacers did. In the 1st game back he reaggravated the injury, missed a few more games and then came back a shell of himself to get the 65 game threshold. But now, not only has that affected his body, but a unique feature that he had, that seemingly 'unshakable' confidence and positive mentality is also gone, and thats the most concerning to me. Yesterday he seemed unwilling to be our primary ball handler and creator. The ball was as a hot potato in his hand, passing too quickly, not trying to drive or shoot. I'm terrified this goes on and Siakam leaves in FA.
Doubt many of the people that flat out took the Pacers over the Bucks are shaking, but last night added an other layer to the series. If Haliburton is not 100%, Pacers are in trouble. Siakam last night had 36 pts, but was taking midrangers all night. Maybe the Pacers wont shoot as bad as they did again, but this team was 30% from 3 in their four wins against the Bucks. Again, cant overreact to one game, but man...
I lowkey did bro I saw them going at least 1-0 to start seeing what happened the Pacers are cooked if Hali decides to ghost and Dame return to his form
People making excuses for him are more embarrassing than his play. He's a good scorer but not elite. He barely averages 20 points a game on 45% shooting. Tyrese can't be your best player on a true contender
@@lumpyrex007 usually when people just call out someone’s grammar, they have no real argument or point to make. You called out his grammar because you didn’t like or agree with his comment but you had no real arguments to prove he was wrong. Next time just put your ego aside and don’t comment at all.
Haliburton, Nembhard, Nesmith, Turner, McConnell. You could attack anyone. They were all absolutely horrible. Siakam was great. I think that Siakam has consistently exposed how awful the rest of the team is. Hield, when he could hit, helped identify the team. This team doesn't have an identity. The issue with Haliburton is that he is AFRAID TO SHOOT now. How can someone play well without confidence? I would like to first attack Nembhard, and lastly attack Nembhard. He should not be in the lineup. He is a ball hog, and tries to play hero ball. That is a Rick Carlisle problem. That is bad coaching. If someone is hogging possessions, you take them out of the game. Who won the title is Dallas? It wasn't Rick Carlisle. He seems to be an average coach to me who takes action too little too late. It is win now, not learn a lesson from a loss. That is the ultimate issue, Rick Carlisle.
Buddy is mid plain and simple this era quick to crown or champion to somebody that haven’t proven anything but he can have a good stint in the regular season 😂
Its not a Hamstring . He is 100% scared to shoot. He doesn't want to miss. Watch him Play and as soon as he has the ball he passes it unless its straight out open highway for a layup.
it’s clearly his hamstring. There’s actually a stat on it. He is taking significantly less shots that cause him pushing off his left leg. He doesn’t trust that hamstring currently and has also lost his burst that he had before the injury as well.
@@StrawberryDreamsicle obviously he’s not gonna admit to not being 100 percent because then people would say it’s an excuse. The stats back up the fact that he isn’t 100 percent. He is stepping back with his left leg significantly less
When it comes to being a more complete player....yes...yes he is. Dame is a better scorer. But if we're building a team around someone I'm taking Haliburton over Dame.
I think he’s way too consumed in stats and personal accolades, and that’s his biggest problem. If it weren’t for the personal accolades he would’ve rested until healthy, and during games it looks like he’s overly concerned about his stat line and shooting percentages. Maybe I’m buggin but I see a lot of others thinking the same thing
Playoffs where dawgs thrive hali just not a dawg. How tf you the franchise player & refuse to shoot even 10 shots maybe he's not 100% but even then why are you playing so passive
I think what a lot of people are failing to realize that when buddy left the team it allowed defenses to key in on Tyrese because they have no fear of Andrew nem hard

It isn't a haliburton problem Milwaukee showed up to play..Dame went off Middleton did his thing and Bobby portis definitely showed up .. nobody in Indiana really didn't go off but in saying that he does need to score more than 9pts
I’m so proud pacer fans getting a sense of realty tyrese is not a guy you can build around. They defend him like a cult deserves all the hate that comes his way if they lose this series. If he wins then I’m stupid
It's already over for this year but now they have to look forward. This off season they have to all get together and learn to play together. Maybe it's just a weird fit with Siakam but Hali has to figure his shit out otherwise Siakam is gone. He's great, he just showed it in game 1. A lot of teams think that they're 1 Siakam away from winning a ring.
Listen what haliburton says about buddy hield on Reddicks podcast. Will give u some answers on why he looks so uncomfortable. Nobody ever seems to mention it as it was overshadowed by the siakam trade
Well it is his first ever playoff series and defense gets more physical, he just looked lost and overwhelmed. That with probably still playing with banged up hamstring, its not a good time for him.
I can’t wait for this 65 win rule makes owners have to pay a secondary player like tyrese maxey a super max or ruin someone’s career from rushing or not reporting pain
Definitely lacking confidence since the all star break. Worst bit is he saw his team were playing sub par (Except Siakam) and was still avoiding taking shots. At some point as the #1, man just needs to take charge and lead by example.
Came back from injury just to make all nba and Gw he not making it second Half of basketball dude was terrible. This 65 game rule is good but we see players forcing them to play thru injury. Honestly he hurt his team because of this . Don’t be apart of team USA either go heal up . Yes buddy was a huge part of the team because they beat team by running and shooting 3’s now that Ben hurt . Buddy would be perfect
First, he just isn't quite as good as he was playing every in the season. He was always gonna fall back to earth a bit. More importantly his stupid ass should has sat and gotten healthy instead of being worried about All NBA. He punted the postseason for his team being more concerned about individual regular season achievements. But i feel he's gonna be like Embiid where every year the narrative is gonna be like " If Haliburton was 100%" or " If Haliburton was healthy". He's already had injuries issues just about every season and i don't see that changing much as he gets older.
Its definitely the injury i think he rushed back bc he wanted to get all nba bc be talked about it too thats something he wanted and be was two games away from not being able to and before his injury he was actually avg 27/4/12 on 52/44/89 splits that is insane not only was he a elite passer with low turnovers but he was an efficient elite scorer too he will probably make all nba but if he had stayed healthy and was avging that 27/4/12 he be like first all nba but I think he will fall to 3rd or not at all also with siakam coming in probably played a factor to but he shouldn't be this bad
