Aw, thanks Dave! Yeah, I must say...we were really blown away by the beauty of the coastline! That drive, around Big Sur especially, was really something I will never forget. I think one lesson we took away was to plan MORE time then you think you will need. There's just so much to see and do and take in! Thanks for always watching and commenting!
I love seeing that you both really enjoyed Monterey. It's a very relaxed place especially before tourist season hits us in April. Revival ice cream across the street from Alvarado street brewery has a chef create custom ice creams with local fresh and organic ingredients and has a line out the door 9 months a year.
Hey! We really did love Monterey..one of our favorite stops along the coast. :) We'll definitely keep the ice cream place in mind for when we make it back there!

I hitched up the PCH long ago and loved the whole Monterrey/Big Sur area. Your video brings back a lot of memories! I dig the music you choose for various moments. Always good stuff!
Wow...I'm sure that was a really memorable experience, Bill! We definitely loved the vibe in Big Sur and Monterey too. The drive up the coast is like no other drive we've been on! So scenic...and those winding roads were crazy!!
Hayyyy! Haha. The giveaway technically brought me over to RU-vid, but I’ve been meaning to catch up on your videos anyway! Hubby and I had a big California tour planned for July 2020 but it fell victim to all the Covid cancellations that year. Seeing the redwoods is for sure on our bucket list! I think you guys travel just like we would love to do it, so I really enjoy your videos. Can’t wait to drive along that coast someday! ☺️

I used to live in Monterey when my ex-husband was stationed at the Presidio of Monterey to learn Korean. I also worked in Carmel at Bank of America. That little town was expensive. I heard Clint Eastwood was the mayor at one time. I also thought it was always chilly. Of course, I was coming from South Texas! 😂.
You’re making me miss the Cali coast!!! Big Sur is so amazing! That wild old growth forest right on the pacific! We work camped at Half Moon Bay State Park!! Where are you going after this?
