My great grandfather remembers the day he faught in the pacific he wakes up and a japanese soldier ask him "do you speak japanese" and he wondered why the japanese soldier ask him do you speak japanese even tho the japanese soldier can speak english. He thought he was gonna die but being the main protagonist of the story saves him by plot armor and he also remember the time he takes an stg44 from the hands of the japanese he is still confused until today how the japanese get their hands on an stg44 he is 96 years old today
I don’t know why everyone bashes the “Do you speak Japanese” line, it could be that’s the only thing he knew in English, it doesn’t mean he’s fluent- I don’t think that it’s that unbelievable that some Japanese soldiers were taught a bit of English going into war.
COD: world at war, the pacific theatre in Peleliu and wake island and also in the Okinawa in the Shuri castle, plus the escort merchant convoy mission using PBY catalina flying boat
@@daltonbrooks5882 they did that in WAW and it worked marvelously, far better received than this dumpster fire. Having faction correct weapons doesn’t make anything boring
@@Brainwarts99 I totally agree tho, I was a big fan of cod 3 when there was really like 10 guns, it was definitely nice but I just mean in general people wouldn’t like it, and see it as boring.
The U.S. ARMY's 92nd (Italy, "Miracle at St. Anna") & 93rd were both black divisions. 81 divisions total, 21 of which fought in the pacific. Not to mention the separate Regimental Combat Teams & in Europe, Pacific, Mediterranean & CBI China, Burma, India theaters. Like the 158th RCT Bushmasters, 112th Cavalry RCT, 147th "Cavemen",475th & 124th Cavalry (Special), Mars Task Force & 5307th Composite Unit "Merrill's Marauders",
"Only dead weight, they just gonna slow us down." I don't think any American soldier would realistically say that to another a fellow soldier out in the field.
0:55 Do you speak Japanese? Sniper! (in 1940s?) English was popular in the Japanese military at that time😂😂 I think they used google translator To be exact, 狙撃手(sokecshu) is the correct
i still think cod4, mw2, mw3 black ops 1, world at war stuff way ahead of its time honestly the only thing gotten better in video games is graphics and Ai campaign stories were much more creative back then and actually memorable everyone remembers soap and captain price everyone remebers nikoli dempsey richtofen and takeo and teddy bear and samantha
Compared to COD WAW, doesn't this work seem to be too quiet when enemies scream when they are hit by a flamethrower? I feel that the intense audio expression is becoming less intense as the visuals have become more situated.
my grandpa was one of the war veterans during WW2 and took part in the infamous “ Bataan Death March “ and he was an amputee bcoz of the bullet that severed his left knee💁🏻♀️💯 and im proud to be his grand daughter for he is one brave soldier who fought for his beloved country 💁🏻♀️🇵🇭👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 RIP gramps
same my grandfather fought for America and got the congressional medal of honor for taking out 7 Japanese pillboxes by himself with a machine gun I'm proud to be a grandson of a patriot
Gaming communities have 2 kinds of gun nuts: - Those who exaggerate the possibilities of jamming when holding the mag - Those who think it wouldn’t jam the gun AT ALL + tacticool points
0:20 What a bloody slap😢😢😢 and IS THAT A JOHNSON 1941?? Oh the flag behind... Why didn't they put the Imperial Japanese flag?? 0:57 Hmmm... A Japanese soldier asking the POW if he speaks Japanese in English... Makes sense 1:19 using a flamethrower against a little group of japanese soldiers🤦♂️ What division is that? In 1943 The USMC already had helmet covers 2:54 Where did he get that grenade from? 3:25 Damn, finding a SMG Mag so easily. Also the Ammo box is next to the river, doesn't sound like a good idea... 5:01 "Go!" Simply like that and he knows exactly what to do 6:59 Is that an A6M Zero? 8:02 C'mon!!!! Is that 700 RPM??? 8:28 WHY A STG44!?!?!?! WHYYY 12:06 How did they die in there?? 12:45 Lmao, they simply just took it Damn just like Star Wars!!! 13:19 Now that's suicide 14:10 The pain is gone... 14:55 It would require a lot more mans to clear those tunnels 15:29 So fast and dangerous!!! Yet he took no damage 20:03 They could AT LEAST LIE DOWN!!!! 22:34 MG34???? THE PLANE ALREADY HAVE A MG!!! Infinity ammo 24:30 Why caps...
@@alvarocalderon3582 I'm sure they'll give up before noon. "They're not talking. I'm gonna kill them both! No, there's still time. It'll be a while before the American soldiers get here. (voice in background) "I don't smoke. It's bad for you! Then say so from the start! "do you speak Japanese?" (explosion) What do you hear? Sniper! Get down! Get them out of here! Get after them! (gunshot)
War veterans are probably laughing at this game. Sherman tank with that cringe long canon, MG42 and more german weapons in Pacific, downright cringe dialogues, stupid strategies and worst writting. You name it. I would not have a trauma if i just saw a false portraying of history, I would cringe at it and be mad that it isn't portraying it right.
If you can’t tell the difference between this and real life you might need to go outside. It’s still got some years to go before we’re even close to that level.
Oh my god that would be feaking awesome!! InfinityWard leave call of duty going to WWII!! Make Call Of Duty go to WWI! A Call Of Duty World War 1 game must be called........ CALL OF DUTY: WWI! #GIVEUSCALLOFDUTYWWI
@@ArthurCallahanSolos Easily most brutal cod and realistic in the horrors of war, but not realistic as a whole, cod isnt realistic in general, still many missions in waw are based on movies.
