Yes. My intention was not going so further back on this video. But we can see the relation of Eostre and Ester, Astarote, Astarte, Ishtar and Inanna. Back there in Mesopotamia we will find the first mythological tale of resurrection in Inanna's descent to the netherworld
Whatever William; IGNORANCE is for those refusing to CONNECT TO ALL LIFE. Christ is within YOU, and Jesus only demonstrated the reality of such connection. Be blind ignorant, apparently it balms your prejudice pattern of being less than your design THEE CREATOR MATRIXED in YOU! Free will, love FREE WILL! Not a puppet to prejudice religions gaslighting, will be my destiny!
Ēostra (the West Germanic goddess of dawn, not fertility, and likely not Spring either) has lent only her name to the holiday in exactly the same way that other Germanic deities have lent their names to our weekdays in English. Nothing more “pagan” than that. Neither eggs nor the hare were associated with her - both are a considerably later addition to her story/mythos. The Easter Hare ( not a bunny or a rabbit - that’s a considerably more modern version) comes from the Lutherans of Germany (yep, the Easter Bunny is a _Protestant_ thing). The Easter Hare, however, does not symbolize a thing. None of the egg-bringing animals of folklore are in any way ‘symbolic’ of any one thing, any more than the Tooth Fairy is symbolic of anything. The hare is not symbolic of ‘fertility’ nor of anything else. These are supposed attributes which have been repeated so often, they have become accepted as legitimate truth. Indeed, the hare is not known to be as “prolific” as the bunny or rabbit. Hares are also known for constructing nest-like structures in fields and meadows - not a huge stretch for parents to tell their kids that’s where all those colorful eggs they were going to hunt came from. There are a lot of folktales regarding the Easter Hare, some of which are still told today. The Easter Hare came to America by way of German immigrants to Pennsylvania in the 1700’s. As for eggs at Easter, they were forbidden food during the Lenten fast. Eggs are the product of a warm-blooded animal, all of which were forbidden during Lent; the fish being cold-blooded was an allowed food; hence the association of Lent with eating fish. Because eggs were forbidden during Lent, on Easter Sunday, eating eggs was regarded as a ‘treat’ of sorts. This was especially true for poorer people who did not keep animals for slaughter and could not afford to buy meat. In anticipation of Easter, in many traditions, the eggs were colored during the last days of Lent to mark the end of penance and fasting. In many countries, the colors used are highly symbolic - the traditional red of the Eastern Orthodox tradition, for example, symbolizes the blood Christ shed for mankind. The secular traditions and customs of Easter are deeply rooted in the past, but that past is firmly rooted in an early Medieval Christian Europe past, not an ancient pagan one. The story of Eostra/Ostara and the bird transformed into an egg-laying bunny, by the way, dates to the late 1800's - it's no older than that. It's a relatively modern folktale.
FINALLY someone that knows 'the pagan origin of Easter' is a modern made up thing! The only 'forbidden truth' about the association is that it's false. Much (all?) of these 'pagan origin' claims are traceable to a 19th century book written by Alexander Hislop, "The Two Babylons", whose claims have been refuted by scholars (but, alas, fully embraced by those who wish to dismiss religion in general and Christianity in particular. The plot twist is that bunnies and eggs--and, yes, the Christmas tree--are of Christian origin. For those interested in a scholarly treatment of the subjects, I recommend looking into videos by ReligionForBreakfast and Dan McClellan.
You can't link Easter to Ishtar - it's historically, culturally and linguistically impossible to connect the two (though it hasn't stopped people from trying, and in some cases making some rather valiant attempts) .
Actually Ishtar is directly linked to easter and to the goddess Eostre as well. Both are related to the dawn, to spring, love and to the morning star. Ishtar is the first mythological account of resurrection. In order to resurrect she changes the place with her beloved Dumuzi, the sheperd. On this sense she was live again ans the sheperd has been sent to the netherworld. Everything here is connected. I didn't link this dots because I would go to the anunnaki topic and this will be made only on Anunnaki Ancient Mystery Channel. Here I will bring historical, mythological and philosophical videos but without link anything to the anunnaki. And the idea here is to complement the work I'm developing there.
There is nothing remotely pagan about easter. Easter is about the resurrection of Christ. However, the real name of Easter is Pascha. We should stick to that.
More hash-tagging of the Easter pagan claims? Ostara/Eostre celebrations? Such detail coming from one ancient source that doesn't describe any celebrations for this goddess.
1:05 There's no such thing as a "Judeo-Christian Calendar". There isn't even a single Christian calendar: most of the world uses the Gregorian calendar, created by Pope Gregory XIII of the (Roman) Catholic Church, but Orthodox Christians still use the Julian calendar. Both of these calendars are solar. For religious observances, Jews use the Hebrew Calendar, a lunisolar calendar and completely different. The entire notion of "Judeo-Christian" is inaccurate and useless anyway, but especially as pertains to calendars.
Life is a gift, but if you use it for evil, you lose it. It was to teach the importance of righteousness, and thus prevent having to met out the death penalty.
The lamb's blood was way of (layman's terms) of giving the Egyptians the "birdie". It was considered a sacred animal by the Egyptians. As such, a sacrifice was punishable by death. It was done to demonstrate Israel's G-D was more powerful than Egypt s graven images.
You don’t have to like it but, would you rather people to die over a lamb dyeing. God isn’t thirsty for blood, if he was then he would have the Israelites kill all of the sheep and lambs. For them to spread the blood of the lamb on their door posts was to let the angel of death know where they were and was also perhaps a pointer to Jesus’ death. He is known as the lamb of God and because of his blood spiritual death cannot touch us who believe in him.
The very first line in this video is wrong. Easter is not derived from the Hebrew word for Passover. That's so obviously false. It's derived from Eastre, the Anglo-Saxon goddess.
I understand but those imagens has been bought for my use on these videos. You can't use them unless you have the proper license. I mean that you would have to create your own images on midjourney and buy other images on envato elements
6:02 No Jewish Messiah is going to lay down his life in a vicarious atonement for sins! The Messianic age will be a world wide era of peace, an in gathering of Jews to Israel, a re building of the Third Temple in Jerusalem,and a universal knowledge of the one true G-D. Sorry folks, Jesus doesn't meet that criteria. 7:14
nothing wrong with the word Pagan; I was born a Pagan to a military Protestant (Father) and Roman Catholic (Mother) until I was old enough under stand religion; I am Spiritual but I have not forgotten my up bringing: a military Protestant Roman Catholic (a Unicorn);
But Paul says we become “former gentile” and grafted into the house of Jacob. Also - we are to uphold the law - romans 3:31. The Father in Heaven says in Jeremiah 10:2 - don’t even ask the pagan nations how they worship their gods - you’re not to worship me how other nations worship their gods. Acts 19:19 - they burned their pagan books. Constantine - let’s incorporate paganism and the Almighty Elohim!
@@bibleisholy7170well there is iaw (law) which I call : Idiot Iaw and there is Law which for the Hebrew speaking ones : Moses Law; much like in the United States with the Constitution of the United States being the supreme Law yet people follow and obey the Idiot Iaws created by the States and Congress and upheld by the Idiot Judges; civil (idiot ignorant or not military) more than likely will follow the iaw (Iaw) where as military obey and follow the Law: disobedience in the military could mean Death or a Life time banishment with a price on ones head; What I have found that Numbers are Universal and hold importance in three things (could be more): 1) Spiritual, 2) religion religious, 3) military War; the higher is all ways: more powerful, stronger; more dangerous to ones enemy; born Day is is a Number: Time born, born Weight, Place born; religion religious Book Number Verse Number; Words are a Number since all letters are a Number; I do not use the word “former” especially if some thing is earned and I am out standing with the Letter to Number Science since I am a military Commission Officer (I was an Enlisted Marine);
Question should be why do they love making these people white when in these times there weren't any white people. These people in the Bible all had hair of wool which were all black including The FATHER!
This narration got it wrong in the first 10 seconds. Easter does not derive from the Jewish word Paycock. Easter derives from a Germanic word. An Easter is not the time when the Jews sacrificed a lamb. Jews don’t have Easter Christian shouldn’t have Easter it’s paganChristian should celebrate what Yeshua celebrated which was Passover. We could then celebrate his rising from the dead, but this Easter thing is incredibly pagan.
Soto's Trump why do you think he's hocking Bibles in Cope land has a war room Network😂 I hope you gave more to the Evangelical Church this year than you did last year because if you don't you won't prosper 🤔
😊😂😂i see there's plenty of bible thumpers protesting true facts once again 😂😂😂 don't tell them Christmas is another pagan holiday 😂😂 they will go crazy
