Backstory of the Eli/Envy rap battle: This was for a rap battle high school show called "The Iron Mic". There were some rules of the show since it was televised in school. Mainly, you can't curse or say anything super vulgar. Being that Eli started off by dropping some n bombs, the in studio crew told him to stop immediately, then cut the music. This is why the audio was cut, but for some reason they didn't cut the video. You can't hear this in the video, but the crew, which included teachers told him that he couldn't curse and he would have one more chance to freestyle. The rest you can see play out as the video shows it. Here are some things to know. 1.) Eli, like you may have suspected, is indeed crippled. 2.) It is widely speculated that Envy wrote and rehearsed his rap beforehand. 3.) Eli won that battle hands down and gave us one of the best/funniest moments in freestyle history.

The Cannibus and Disaster debacle reminded me why big mainstream rappers never publicity battle real street battle rappers. They don't even battle anybody come to think of it.

The craziest part about the Canibus freestyle is that at some point he raps a diss track called Second Round KO that he did back in 1998 for LL Cool J, the only diffrence beeing that instead of saying LL's name he says Dizaster

17:40 in all my years of watching this battle, it's only today I realised dude in the Bulls hat is Supa'Natural. Nat is regarded to be top 3 best improv rappers in the world (yes, BETTER than Eminem), he is able to construct verses off the top that legitimately sound written. I am certain that Canibus was one of his greatest inspirations to rhyme how he does. Being there that day would have broken his heart.
