The guy definitely harbors some resentment for giving up his dream and probably other stuff too as he said. He probably felt she was holding him back as he looks ready to move on in the show. It’s a sad situation, you can’t control how people feel. Idk if coming on the show was a good idea for someone’s emotional well being and mental health after a fresh break up (4 months is not enough time to move on after 13 years lol)
Yes! 4 months were too much. 13 yrs was like a marriage. How could anyone get through that and try to act like a stranger. I guess he convinced her to be on the show but they had diff idea. He wants a fresh start while she thought they can get back.
As much as i appreciate their love, i kinda feel they shouldnt get back together, everyone feels bad for dahye, i do too but i feel more pain for the guy, he wanted to be an idol as well, but he gave up on that dream and even supported her through all the years even becoming her manager and taking her places, i kinda felt that he lived life for her and not for himself which he also said that for once he wants to live for himself. Also being in a secret relationship is extremely hard, and he did it for 13 years, i felt trapped and frustrated even hearing it, i cant imagine how he must have felt not being able to do anything w his gf in public.

I really am just watching this show in the hopes that it ends well for Dahye. I dont even care if she finds a partner. I just want her to be happy and hopefully heal enough to move on.
13 years of relationship is a lot and they only break up 4 month ago 😳 I think he is so ready to move on but she’s not, I hope she can start a new life and not necessarily with a boyfriend just find happiness with herself first, I think she’s not emotionally ready to start a relationship with nobody yet
People.really do disregard dahye's sacrifices as well. They were caught dating while they were both part of sm, and both of them left the company for eo. Not only dongjin. She got accepted in a smaller company.but he didn't(maybe bcz he had to do military service or smthing) and it is difficult to start training and debut after certain age. She also did everything she could to keep the relationship going. To not sleep in b/w schedules and all. People only talk abt sacrifies made by dongjin but a 13 year relationship doesn't work if only one person is making efforts. I think dongjin checked out of relationship a long time ago that's why he is even able to think abt getting tgt with someone else. You can see their goals dongjin to be with someone else and dahye to get over and move on.

It’s hard when one’s self can’t recognize his/ her own identity! Since it’s new, I guess they need more time and space so that they will know the value of having together for 13 years.
Watch this show solely for Dahye. Hope she'll leave the show happy. Doesn't matter who she end up with. Changjin or Dongjin or even leaving the show solo.
Now that I finished the ep13. I believe that it would be better for both of them not to get back together. They'll just end up hurting each other more, especially our Dahye. Both of them are nice people but the way Dongjin is behaving now towards Dahye is truly irritating. Edit: Dongjin is getting harsher towards Dahye to the point that he sometimes forgets how to speak politely, or at least show a little bit of respect to her.
Yes!! I actually like him for her too. He has such an open mind, relax and funny. She needs someone like that now. But it look like he missed and wanted to be back with his ex.
It’s a sad and beautiful story… they are both good person. hope they will both find happiness. I kinda want them back together but I feel like it will not happen. Never date a someone for 13 years, especially when you are young. Never ends well… use that energy and focus on yourself. Discover what YOU want your life to look like and aim for that. Not some young love relationship that will take a toll on your older self.

I am sometimes really annoyed by Dongjin... Why is he so rude to Dahye? He gets more and more rude every episode. His words are straight up disrespectful. He is just using the fact that Dahye still loves him, but nah. He just tries to be the best gentleman for every single woman except Dahye.

Honestly everyone feels bad for Dahye but if the genders were reversed and it was the girl who followed sacrificed 13 years to be the guy's manager while the guy pretended to be strangers when fans recognize him, they would straight up be cursing out the guy and encouraging the girl to move on. It took me a year to be ok after ending a 5 year relationship. I cannot imagine going on this kind of show after only 4 months. I think 4 months in was when it started to really sink in.

I really don't understand Dongjin's behaviour, in the beginning of te show he Clearly saod he had came to the show to move on from his ex and he was doing things accordingly, dating different girls literally hurting his Ex (*Dahye) but suddenly he was upset amd angry at Dahye jist because Dahye had a date with Changjin and she was happy, wth is that??? And he will literally do things to hurt her intentionally and i just can't accept his excuse saying its for the betterment of Dahye everytime, wtffffff And his connection with Hyewon, oh my goshhh, rather than a couple they give me off an uncle an niece vibe not gonna lie As much as i know that Dahye is desperate to get bck together I don't want her to get back with Dongjin and start anew, she deserves someone better
