I surprisingly love this like I hate like reality type of shows but like it was so good but watching everyone try out literally made me nervous like I was one of them I mean I wish I was one of them😂 I would be honored to just stand in the room

The onlys one paid are under contract lol. Dancers in general are not paid much considering they dedicate their years to it. But yeah dancers get paid once they get the contract, but during this "audition" no ones paid. But like they say if your picked you get a great reputation which helps for finding more professional work (with artist like chris brown for example), so its a nice way for beginners to get a "resume" or sorts and experience on the stage that will help find more work.

Yes, The dancers that make The Palace Crew are under contract for 1 year and are paid. Opportunity comes from being noticed, winning and referrals.

wow, what you folk do is dope! I grew up in South Auckland in the 90s when hip hop was starting everywhere. Unfortunately my white butt had no talent. But to see what you cats are doing with these young people. Giving people a shot to do something great is one of the coolest things I have seen in decades. You all have this middle class, 44 year old business / family man as a fan. I hope my 2 kids one day have the passion you guys possess.

A fair process, sounded like “fear process” and what it sounded like seems more accurate. I get needing to be on top of your shit busting your ass and a work ethic known by everyone around you to be above average but having already proven yourself without a hiccup to audition again for a place you’ve already proven yourself for...it would be awful to get sick not just for auditions but in general for this dance crew. The best is the best until it isn’t.
