This song has that melancholy power chord grungy vibe of the 90s, but has the experimental nuances of Incubus. Especially the 1:12 to 1:18 Oooohh ooohh part reminds me of something Brandon Boyd would have done... same with 3:12
Rewind, let's take it back a second We side off in a picture with grey ink and a knife These scars are deep enough to see for miles My, oh my Maybe I've been here before without you Or maybe it's a heavy dose of deja vu Maybe I've been here before without you, without you Give me that medicine What a waste to suck that sedative There's no taste, there's no taste Ooh Ooh, oh-oh Ooh, ooh Daylight feels like a burden Got my eyes tight Just like that belt around my chest in the night I must've really done it this time Oh no, my oh my Maybe I've been here before without you Or maybe it's a heavy dose of deja vu Maybe I've been here before without you, without you Give me that medicine What a waste to suck that sedative There's no taste, there's no taste Ooh Ooh, oh-oh Ooh, ooh You need to understand It is my only friend Maybe I've been here before without you Maybe I've been here before without you, without y
I fucking love this song I can't stop listening to it Easily made it to my number 1 for the songs I listened to in 2019 and I only discovered it in July
Weirdest thing... Came here after hearing a clip of them on Sam Fenders story. Clicked this song and was like FUCK these guys are class, then noticed I'd already subscribed... Past me preparing for future me discoveries haha
saw this song live yesterday, ive heard it a few times before and i absolutely love it! to my personal preference the vocals couldve been louder/harder live :)
This song freaking rocks. Like i said on Twitter, i must have played it 6 times in a row driving home from dinner. You need to build a better website though. There's a website template / host service called SquareSpace. You pick a theme, put your content in it which is easy, and they host it. Costs about $120 USD or so per year. I believe they have templates for bands where you can show tour schedules. It also has a great CMS which is how you upload content. I can help you guys figure it out if you need help. Instead of building a site from scratch (we've been designing apps for 19 years) I chose to use SquareSpace for our website/portfolio instead of redoing our old one. Just a perfect solution.
