Yeah, the car is great, but has anyone complimented that driver? I mean, in the wet at nearly 180 mph? Boy's got way bigger huevos than I do, I'll tell you that.
@@kurtcocktoasten4592 fair enough. I'm good, but I'm no Senna. He was the master of the wet. In the wet, the only thing I accomplish is wetting myself. It terrifies me. Being able to predict the physics - on a surface nobody knows how slick it is in any one place - goes right out the window. Along with my huevos. And I'm too pretty to die.
Well 2, maybe 3 seconds? It is just starting to rain on like 10 percent of track, it makes you lose some confidence etc., but this is not changing the situation much, this is not a damp track.
Honestly, in some cases. Rain can help with faster lap times. As far as understeer and oversteer, only true pros rotate the car with mainly the pedals! Both are your friends when it comes to shaving tenths or one-thousandths off your flying lap.
Faster then a model s plaid track pack in the rain and not using GoodYear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3Rs like the plaid had to do. Which for those who dont know arent street/track hybrids. They are pure slicks only used for tracks.
Der Porsche Nürburgring Nordschleifen-Rekord ist wirklich beeindruckend. Der Fahrer verwendet die Lenkung nicht als dritte Bremse, was beim Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid ohnehin keinen Vorteil bieten würde.
Awesome driving by lars! But I do got a question-- is that roll cage something you can buy from Porsche? If not it seems a little iffy to outfit the car with a custom roll cage, and a bucket seat, for the lap.
Setting a world record with a track prepped car. Roll cage and race seat, that's just what we can see. I like Porsche especially the front engine cars. This however is not what you're going to buy at the dealership.

@@ERTZZTRE wegen der Hitze? Dann fährst du eben nur genau so schnell wie der Panamera, dann überhitzt der Karren auch nicht, bis der Akku leer ist, der bei gleicher Geschwindigkeit wie der Panamera ca. 3 Runden halten sollte. Wobei man als Kunde nach einer sowieso wieder raus muss.
As awesome as Porsche is, I don't see the point of running a car like this around this track. Almost nobody is going to use one like this. It would be like taking the new 911 to B&Q to see how much stuff you can put in the back.

👀 It’s unfair to compare EV performance to combustion vehicle output if that’s what these tracks times are indicating. This would never occur in FIA’s Formula One series. Too many unfair comparisons & advantages between different classes of cars.
Fake: Turbo, This car has absolutely not a Turbo ( German Turbo from: turbine l ) exhaust gas recirculation system. Electric cars have no exhaust at all. Now Porsche says: Turbo is our Topmodel
