These 3 together are a proper panel of people debating games. They aren’t a wind up or a banter thing which is fine but they actually sit there unbiasedly discussing the situation and have their opinions
The fact that we have to debate whether a last man foul was a red or not just shows how fvcked the refereeing is in this league. Last man fouls should always be a red imo, we can’t be looking at players around the foul and saying he can catch up. A defender will most likely only make a decision like that if he knows the player is through on goal, there’s no other reason they’ll do it.
Really appreciate Fuad's objectiveness here. Cam's expression is valid, but the fact you have to go into that amount of detail over the decision shows in real time they should be refereed similarly. We also can't forget, it was originally a yellow for Saliba and VAR somehow thought there was enough to overturn Salina's but then not Tosin's.
You cannot decide if he will recover or not,,,Players have recovered with much more distance. Those two incidences are either red cards or both are yellow.
@@AmakaTyson Incorrect, you can decide. That is exactly what happens on all of these, they are judgment calls by definition. Both calls were 100% correct and I am a Liverpool fan, that was only a yellow for Chelsea
@stevezio33 exactly!!! If you understood the rules, you would know why you are wrong. They are judgement calls as you said I.E subjective and this is precisely the type of call that VAR is not meant to get involved with. VAR is meant for clear and obvious which contradicts subjective by default !!! The last time a yellow was changed to red (IN RELATION TO A GOAL SCORING OPPORTUNITY ) was 3 years ago
I agree with the point about signing Trossard and Jorginho at that point was perfect for where Arsenal were. But this summer I think we bought good players but we really needed to bring in that player or those players that would take us past the line. I guess it could be an PSR thing but next summer will explain it better, I reckon next summer we will more leniency with PSR and buy the luxury class players we need
not comparable at all. evanilson coming from an offside position ahead of saliba, so he dragged him down(not playing the ball) plus ben white wasnt even making any runs towards the goal/caught by surprise because it was backpass. raya retreated. whichever way you look at it is a red. i dont know why there’s so much discussion around it. saliba is the clearest red card in the league this season.
Liverpool were top of the table for a longer period last season yet they are never included in the bottle conversation. They also held a lead in 2018/19. I understand the fun of trolling but Pool and Arsenal both win the league 2 times if 115 FC did not exist
@@Rainer-8 I am blaming City... If City follow FFP they are unable to build the squad they did, and do not win the prem 3 times between 2012 and 2016. Without the titles they are not established as contenders for the league and Guardiola does not go to coach there. They have won 5 premier league titles alone since Pep joined. If you don't think City's trophy cabinet would look significantly different if they followed FFP you are wrong.
There was another player in the same area for the Colwell one and I'm a Liverpool fan so it was not a red. Saliba was the only defender there for Arsenal
@@stevezio33well at least jota had the ball under control at his feel. The Bournemouth player didn't have the ball under control . This season they said they were going th re ref the game less ... VAR should not be re reffing on subject calls - that is the point !
It's not going to be a two horse race this season, Arteta is approaching the season as if it is. I don't care what anyone says, they should be beating Bournemouth. Worse case should be a draw. Pulis ball in top football is trash.
It’s a shame we have to talk about a questionable red at every arsenal game. While arsenal have themselves to blame, the stupid things they do is within the limits of the game but the officiating is beyond atrocious!!
What is crazy to me is Tosin and Saliba do the exact same thing this weekend both are yellow card on field decisions VR gets involved for the Arsenal game but doesn't even look at Tosin challenge.... How??? It genuinely blows my mind and SO frustrating cus that ref decision had now made us 3/4 points behind 1st/2nd. Sorry but clear agenda against Arsenal cus these decisions makes no sense
I have a theory as to why Martinelli is trash now: the training is more focused on Pulis ball than attacking and fun. Flair players lose their life force in such teams. Even Hazard under Mourinho had to be treated like a special child (no hard trying or doing defensive drills) As we know with Arteta, he does NOT do special treatment; he played Saka to the ground last season, absolute madness.
Lovely theory but Saka is no less a flair player than Martinelli and his numbers are very good. 9 goals and assists considering he missed half the city game and the entire bournemouth one
Everyone saying Ben White would not have got back please go watch Arsenal vs Bayern and the tackle from White on Sane then chat to me please. Sane was gone and he's one of the fastest players in world football 🤣🤣🤣
Whether you think Ben White is Usain Bolt or not is irrelevant. When the player got brought down White was nowhere near it and that's the long and short of it. Case closed.
