Julia Laurich - Good to hear that. Remember...You will soon be establishing your adult life, earning your own money, creating your own circle of friends, building your own family if you want one. Your dreams will come true and the universe will give you gifts you could never have dreamed of. People will love you, respect you, trust you, look to you for leadership, and give you their thanks for being there for them.
They're wonderful parents, you can already see the love in their movements. That little Robbie is definitely in good hands. Hands on knees, that little kiss, and those looks they give one another ❤️
Robbie is one of my very favorite boys' names. And I agree, there is absolutely NOTHING on this earth better than having a son. My wife and I adopted 3 full brothers. What a feeling! Best of luck to both of you and to Robbie. I admire both of you for your love and dedication to each other and to Robbie.
How do you ruin a child? By not loving it. I can’t see anything other than love in this video. And I LOVE it! You guys are amazing! I really love the idea that this little amazing child will learn from the begining that love is love and a family is not just a mummy and a daddy. You look like two very happy parents! 😍
Children are so delicate and even a little action or behavior from their parents might affect them. I watched this video and all I could ever see was two lovely and kind dads who wants nothing but the bests, happiness and safety for their only beloved son. So I never understand why people care about the gender of parents? As long as child is happy and safe, i think it's okay. So go one 💗
What great Dads you are. Robbie Ray is so lucky to have you both. The love and happiness you share will be the best environment for him to grow up in. ♥️
I think you guys have done such a wonderful job in how you incorporate Robbie and your parenting journeys into this channel without violating robbie’s personal privacy ! You have wonderful family content and still showcase robbie’s adorable little personality without ever showing his face on camera which I just really respect! Side note now that the Olympics are done have you ever considered knitting tutorials?! 🤗
I have two girls (my angels) when listening my friends and other parents talk about how they get their kids to get dressed, clean up, shower and how it often turns into screaming and crying?? I made everything fun! “Do you think you can get d quicker than me? Then t them win and are out that you can’t believe they got dressed so quick, hop about a little while pulling on your jeans, gasp when they get their top on quickly. Aces to the car, counting the steps as you go up and down, ass they get older count in twos and so on. I never really had to shout at them even when they got older knew, that they had to do chain things and if they didn’t the fun stopped, the craft days, baking, sleep overs. As they got older it was no video games, tv friends over and I stuck to what I said. We had a bedtime routine, kids need well defined boundaries and structure. I worked with children for over 20 years and I enjoyed the fun just as much as they did, when your all rolling about n the floor 😂 there is no better soon than children’s laughter and smiles. Hope you and Robbie Ray share lots of laughter and smiles 🤗🤗🤗
Congrats again on your lovely little family, you can see the happiness Robbie has brought to your life. Also good on Pampers for giving them this sponsorship (:
Nothing compares to having a kid, not even winning an Oscar or World Championship. For me, that's so fucking sweet! You two are going to be great dads! Hope you show this to baby Robbie Ray he grow up!
Revisiting this video and it’s as adorable as ever. A follow up when Robert reaches your age, or thereabouts, would be adorable as well. Hope I’m around to see that.
As a therapist, when parents talked about their fears of messing up their kid(s), I told them they can only do their best and the kid can go to therapy when he/she grows up. (:
I’ve never in my life thought about the fact that there are no changing tables in mens restrooms but now I’m really wondering why. I mean that can not only be difficult for samesex dads but for all dads when they don’t have a female person with them.
Billy Ray Cyrus is a real country music star. He did play Hanna Montana’s dad because his daughter played her. One of his songs is called achy breaky heart
I thought Robbie was their puppy and they were just teasing about being dads. Like I honestly thought the baby shower was for their dog and he was just being frilly about it. Do they even have a dog? Congrats to papa and daddy!
I'm imagining at school: Bully: You have GAY DADS! Robbie: Well, one have an Oscar and another a lot of medals, including gold Bully: * leaving slowly *
Tom and Lance, I watched the video on gay fathers and thought it was great. As an older gay couple back in the 70's and 80's we were a young couple and we talked about having a family and thought of adopting a child since there were so many that needed a loving home yet after going through the meetings and paper work the answer was NO your gay. We are now in our 70's and know that our time has passed us by. So we have turned that love that we could give to a child towards each of us and new that some day it would change. Thank you and the others that took the chance to share their love with a child that needed them.... Love , Joe and Wayne
My heart melted while I was reading this. Your story is both so sad and so incredibly beautiful and I am so so happy you and your partner are still together, it makes me truly believe in love I have yet to experience.
Salmon Fish in some places we do have a baby change area that’s unisex. But as I haven’t been in a men’s toilet I did wonder how they changed their children.i just don’t get why they don’t have them inside
Lia Downes ah I see! I just wondered if they have them in disabled toilets and women’s toilets. Why can’t they put them in the men’s? It’s good that they do that
1978rharris I get that British is an all encompassing term. Depending on where he’s raised or who he interacts with, he could have a specific accent from Great Britain.
OK - Pampers deserves some real credit and respect for this. I am thankful to them for ensuring that diversity of families is important in their marketing and branding. The world is changing for the better. Love you Tom and Lance. Way to go Pampers!!!
They will be the best dads, I think the world should judge less and give more love, if the world revolves around love, everything would be better. I'm glad that there are brands that include diapers that sponsor them, it's necessary. We have to break the stereotypes, nobody knows what it's like to be a dad, that's what your life is teaching you. I love it, PAPA T and DADDY D.
I absolutely agree. Stereotypes create bad boundaries. It doesn’t matter if you have person who has a different gender, sexuality, race e.t.c, they are still a person, capable of anything.
Jack Powell Exactly, we homosexuals, we are human beings, we love and we want to be loved too. and what's more beautiful, than to give that love to a child. I think the world in general is understanding that we are all equal, and that there should be no differences between anyone.
These 2 have obsessive compulsive personalities given their success. I would not want to have to meet the expectations of either one of these guys as a kid. Talk about stress. They will not be able to help themselves
I mean... Lance isn't wrong #Daddy.... but also, kudos to Pampers for sponsoring this... and y'all are doing GREAT. It's both a hard and rewarding journey. :)
No changing tables in men's bathrooms is also incredibly sexist, what, kids with straight parents will always be out with mum? But anyway you guys are a well of positivity, love seeing how happy your little family is ^_^
Not exactly sexist, just reflective of reality. Things may be changing now, and changing tables in men's bathrooms, or family bathrooms, are changing as well.
@@bjornolson21 Its exactly sexist, thats because its reflective of reality, since reality has always been extremely sexist. The only reason why there were no changing tables in men´s bathrooms, and still mostly arent, is because of gender roles that associate women with taking care of children, not men.
Your chemistry is amazing. I’m sure you’re wonderful parents and Robbie will get so much love and happiness in his life. P.s. When I heard you named him Robbie Ray my Hannah Montana part was very happy
Y’all I don’t even care that this entire video was an add for a product I have no current use for. I have never seen lance act so cute and it warms my whole heart.
When my husband and I adopted our two boys (brothers) through LA county foster care system (21 years ago) they sort of decided on "Dad Jeff" and "Dad Scott." It worked wonderfully well. You might consider that.
"If you name someone with a "Ray" middle name, they might be a country music star. We're setting him up for success in the United States -- with a guitar, a banjo, and some cowboy boots..." LOOOOOOOOOL! Lance is too much!!!!!
