I've been drawing parallels with O.J. and Trump for YEARS now. They are both narcissists. Both celebrities. Both total ass clowns. Both criminals. Trump hasn't killed anyone as far as we know, but he's still a criminal. And one of the biggest similarities, their supporters know they are shitty people, but continue to support them just to piss off "the other side".
i love you chris always have since your early mornings on cnn. however i thought that i wouldn't like this video i thought it was going to just bash trump. but between these 2 men i voted for trump the first round then covid came and i felt he didn't take it that serious and my son has major medical issues and i didn't want him to get it and trump was trying to get rid of all the things we were told was helping us at the time so i didn't vote for biden i voted to get trump out but major mistake he ruined america and he doesn't even care. he would rather help ukraine than us he wants to secure there border but fuck ours . i would never vote for biden again ever so trump has my vote this time and i do feel biden is telling his justice to prosecute him because he knows he is going to lose
Except OJ spent his time in custody til trial was over. Trump is walking around free on bail while his trial is happening. That is the difference between the two
This is why we have bail reform now . But they don’t like bail reform because they believe the elite should be home with their children waiting for trial and the rest of us should be locked up .

OJ could not accept rejection. Two people died. His life trajectory which was soaring with great wealth and success came to a grinding halt. There is nothing more to say. He accepts rejection and moves on. Forgets about the past. Turns the other cheek. So many positive things would have happened.
I disagree with you on the Georgia case. The GBI does not investigate cases without just cause. The DOJ also saw the need to investigate. Also, keep in mind that one of the vote counters refused to cooperate in her second interview without her lawyer. This delayed the investigation causing panic within the Administration that the election was actually being stolen.
I defended O.J. from my coworkers, my siblings, i used to get into lots of arguments over the that trial. I really believed he was innocent. I really thought he was framed. I was one of those people cheering when they said NOT GUILTY. Until he wrote his book IF I DID IT. It wasn't til then that i realized omg he did do it. I was so disappointed 😞. When i heard O.J. passed, it really did bother me. I loved O.J. i grew up with the Juice. Of course im upset he passed. I think he paid his dues for those murders in one way or another. And to die the way he did was not easy. So yeah karma got him at the end. May god have mercy on his soul. R.I.P.
OJ was found not guilty. It’s a combination of the LAPD’s laziness and crookedness that he was found liable in the civil case. There is no way OJ could have carried out both those murders in the manner they were with his bad knees, arthritis etc. He was the one in the wrong place, wrong time. Let’s not forget that Nicole Brown was a cocaine addict along with her friends who owed the drug cartel a lot of money. We all know what happens when you don’t pay them. Stop pretending that these people, meaning Nicole and Ron weren’t involved with shady characters in more than just the drug world. People such as Brett Cantor, Michael Nigg, Charles Minor to name a few, all murdered within a year of Nicole and Ron, oh yeah and they all had connections to them, as well as the restaurant where Ron worked, which was a cover for drug dealing. Nicole and Ron was dealing in some very shady business within that restaurant that cost them their lives and OJ was the fall guy. As for Fred Goldman, Ron’s dad, he is out for a money grab. He and Ron were estranged for years and wasn’t even speaking to each other at the time of his death and I won’t even go into the drama with Ron Goldman’s mother and her connections to illegal activities. I hope Fred Goldman doesn’t get one penny.

Therefore, while it may be argued that Trump is facing prosecution for actions that others commonly engage in, this argument is immaterial. The essential truth is that some individuals do face legal consequences for their wrongdoings, and Trump exemplifies the type of person who should be held accountable by the justice system.

OJ Simpson was found "not guilty" NOT because he was black and the jury was mostly black. He was found "not guilty" because the prosecution DID NOT prove their case "beyond a reasonable doubt." I watched pretty much the entire trial. The jury didn't get to see or hear what was going on in the courtroom outside of their presence the way the viewer did and that's the part of the trial I think so many white people forgot about and that's why they were struck so dumbfounded upon hearing the verdict. I'm a white male, 39 yrs old at the time, and if I had been on that jury I would have to have found OJ '"not guilty" as well simply because the prosecution's key witness Mark Fuhrman was caught lying on the witness stand and the glove HE FOUND outside a bedroom window on the side of OJ's house did not fit OJ's hand. The prosecution team lost the case. It's their fault.

I genuinely believe that the wealth gap is the problem. Politics gets more insane, as politicians defend the corruption, by the owner class. If money was taken out of politics, you'd not be in this situation, as regards Biden and Trump.
Very insightful Chris but claiming that there are actual parallels between these two is stretching things don't ya think? Superficial similarities, maybe, but that's where it ends. The former is an unconvicted murderer and unapologetic felon while the latter is an unabashed grifter and unapologetic rapist. The only "parallels" between the pair is one was nicknamed 'Juice' while the other's complexion resembles the fruit that is squeezed to make it. 🍊

OJ was innocent. Nicole and Ron Goldman were killed by 3 gang members (seen walking towards Nicole's place at time of murders) using 2 separate knives (one serrated, one not) due to a cocaine drug deal (along with Nicole's friend Faye Reznick) gone bad. OJ was the money man for the deal, so he knew what happened but couldn't say anything or he and his children would be in danger). Plus, cops framed him -- and even if convicted, OJ would have won on appeal since search of his residence was illegally done without a warrant.
@@Merrikatt What makes you think the threat of the Mexican drug cartel "was long past" - and you really think that OJ would admit that he was involved in a drug deal that ended up with two of his cohorts being murdered? Also, the civil court in LA ruled years ago, following the civil case, that any profit from books written about the murders, had to go to the victims' families.
Until listening carefully to this video, I had not accepted the premise that these Trump prosecutions are selective prosecutions, so thank you. Justice may not be blind but justice should be served, so I'm still in favor of these cases moving forward. People are made into examples by the system all the time. Is that fair to the "example"? Maybe not. Is such a person guilty of a crime? In many cases, yes. Is this complicated? Yes. Once again, thank you. I'm more self-aware than before as I look forward to these cases being adjudicated. I see myself more clearly in the mirror but im not ashamed.
The whole world is terrified. The US is a very evenly split country, Trump may very well be elected. Only one thing is certain, he will never concede to losing. Not ever, not for anything. That alone makes him unfit for office. Anyone who cannot or will not admit defeat, no matter which side of the political aisle, is not fit to be put into power.
I remember I was still in school when the verdict was put out, The Faculty of the school was playing it live on the loudspeaker and we all had to stay quiet while the verdict was being read and I remember my teacher getting excited when they said not guilty.

I also think the prostitute case should go to trail because I think prostitution should be legal and it's cases like this that might change that. Both sides abuse the law a little or a lot to attack the other side. If one side does it then the other side will get creamed if they don't do the same.
