You’re not going to believe this but I was prepping for another reaction to this movie and then this dropped. RIP NATASHA RICHARDSON

I just realized when Hallie says to Annie after cutting her hair, "Honey, ya never looked better," she's imitating Chessie. 😭

This is my ultimate comfort movie. I was so sad to hear about Natasha Richardson when she passed. I always thought she was so elegant and beautiful. 💕

Natasha Richardson would’ve honestly made the PERFECT Princess Diana in a biopic back then. RIP. She would be THRIVING. Everyone deserves a Chessy in their life. I ❤️ Lisa Anne Walter. Also the fact that both Lisa Anne Walter and Elaine Hendrix are besties…I need Lisa and Elaine to play wives in a Rom-Com.

Martin the butler is def bisexual. As one myself I can attest. He cries a lot, he wears mostly black clothes, as well as a James Dean leather jacket and tight pants (I bet they were cuffed too), he knows fashions, experiences short bursts of impeccable confidence that are immediately undercut by painful awkwardness and clumsy-ness, bad at flirting, he had an instant crush on Chelsea because he sensed that she's bi too (c'mon) therefore they'd have a lot to bond over. 👏

Wes' thirst for Dennis Quaid is both hilarious and adorable. This was such a fun watch along with you both! Love that you covered a non-horror/suspense movie, and a stone-cold CLASSIC at that!

Even as a 34 year old adult, trumpet girl makes me laugh 😅😅😅 that is such a Disney goof-ball moment.

You can actually tell which twin is which on the camping trip without the script. Halle is the one leading the group since she has been on the trails before. Annie is the one who continues to mess with Meredith, with the lizard, rocks etc 😂😂😂 She also uses her real accent with Halle when talking about pushing Mer off a cliff. Annie is not innocent, she is Meredith's main nemesis for real

My best friend and I watch this at least once when I visit her in her state each year, it’s one of our favorites and we can’t get enough of it! Any time I hear any of the songs from this movie I get emotional thinking about how much I miss her.

As a kid I was convinced she had an actual twin. Her British accent was pretty good ngl

I am English and a very harsh critic when it comes to Americans doing an English accent but I can confirm I have always been impressed by Lindsay’s, especially given how young she was! 👏

Well tbf, Lindsay wasn't talking to "nobody". In order to shoot each of her scenes as Annie and Hallie, production used a look-alike body double (Erin Mackey) who I'm guessing would rehearse lines with her. You could even see Erin in a few shots, like in the scene when they're leaving the hotel, and when Nick is looking at both twins trying to tell the difference, you can see the difference between the actresses by the shade of hair color from the back of their heads.

This is a comfort movie for me. I loooooved watching it as a kid and I’m so happy you guys are covering it on the channel!

I love the Parent Trap - this one and the one with Hayley Mills. The parent trap II from back in 1986 had filmed parts in my elementary school which was my first introduction to these movies. Love Dennis Quaid since I was little, so I get you Wes! Lisa Ann Walter is love, she was the reason I got curious about Abbott Elementary, then the whole show just captured me whole LOL

I was so surprised to see this upload. This is such an amazing movie. Lindsay Lohan is one of my most favorite actresses of the 2000's and seeing how she's thriving once again makes me so proud! I say just watch her filmography in order imo and we can all just see her grow and become even more iconic throughout the years!

I forever love this movie -- I love everything about it. So watching this again with you guys made this a PERFECT experience. It is a perfect movie -- we get Lindsay Lohan absolutely killing it as Annie and Hallie, we get the hottest couple ever with Natasha Richardson (RIP, she was so talented and lovely and warm) and Dennis Quaid, plus the wonderful and adorable Martin and Chessie! PLUS the incredible vineyard PLUS the incredible London townhouse! Everything is so gorgeous and swoonworthy. Sigh. Thank you for reacting to this! I'd love to see you react to Freaky Friday or Mean Girls (if you haven't already). She was also terrific in Altman's "A Prairie Home Companion" (Meryl Streep talked about how talented she was in that, too). Cheers!

Before watching this video: Looking back, it's crazy how much we rooted for them but then again Natasha looks SO MUCH like Princess Diana...I'm not sure if that's a coincidence or if Nancy looked at how sad the world was and thought maybe we can get a vicarious/pseudo happy ending that we were robbed off when the people's princess Diana was killed in that infamous car crash.

I grew up watching the original Parent Trap (1961), with the iconic Hayley Mills, and it was my favorite movie growing up as well! Hayley Mills is so beautiful and I always loved her accent, I wanted to be just like her, lol.. in the Parent Trap, she has the most beautiful blue eyes and perfect pouty lips, I just fell in love at first sight! 😍🥰 I would love for you guys to watch the original Parent Trap, and also another good movie of hers is Pollyanna! 🥰

My experience with summer camps was underwhelming in comparison to this. I've been to three, and 2 of them were very religious, actual Jesus camps, but I enjoyed them at the time even with the queer guilt. Looking back, I just want to rescue my bi-curious ass and explain my brand of queerness without guilt and stamp out my taught homophobia earlier. The other was for Campfire(co-ed boy and girl scouts pretty much), which came the closest and was mostly all fun, though we prayed before meals in song. Including horseback riding, canoing, and archery. Too bad my troop shut down in my region when I was 12.

I love how chessy says "she's so beautiful" like obviously you already would know that because she looks exactly like Hallie and she would know they are identical. But she is truly seeing her as Annie a completely different person and I think that's one of the things that makes that scene even more touching

The only bad parenting in this movie. I watched this as a kid and thought it was just funny. But now as an adult and rewatching it. I am seeing a lot of red flags. Like what they never called the other kid or sent a birthday card or wished them a merry Christmas. There is something seriously wrong with these two parents. And what's up with everyone keeping it secret or quiet all this time, Grandpa knew, Martain knew and so did Jessie. I mean everyone knew about these two twin girls. Yet they were never told about them. I mean what kind of parent doesn't check in with the other kid. I mean how sad is that. I don't care what kind of situation they were in as a couple; you don't turn your back on your other kid for 11 years and 9 months later until she shows back up pertaining to be her twin just because you didn't find the time to send cards or phone calls or even say hey, I love you. for all they knew they felt unwanted by the other parent all these years. I can't be the only one who thinks this way or feels like this. But at the same time, I know it's just for the plot for the movie, and it is funny and it's a good story. But I am just being honest.

This was so much fun!!! I love this movie. You guys should most definitely do a reaction vid to the OG Parent Trap with Haley Mills.❤

Fun fact the actress who plays Meridth also played Alexis Carrington for a bit in the new Dynasty and a headcanon for me is that she changed her name and moved to Cali and being a gold digger to begin with she "fell" for Nicky and hated the girls so much cause she left Fallon and Steve behind in Alanta and didn't really want to be a mom so she was so mad that there were twin girls she had to take care of now both of which remind you of the girl you left behind.

I recently rediscovered this movie and I just adore it. It never gets old! Imo it's better than the original. Lindsay was much younger than Haley in this (these) roles.

I have memories of watching the orginal with my mom so I was glad that the remake was good as well. Same with the original Freaky Friday and the remake. They did a good job casting LL in those roles.

Not me loving this movie so much that when asked to pick my little sisters middle name I went with Hallie (but it ended up as Halle), then a year later my parents divorced. Made me view the film differently but still love it.
