The Parsee Cake Walk - Just So, performed by children's theatre. (2007) performers aged 8-19. Just So is a show based off of the Rudyard Kipling Just So stories, and is from the writers of Honk!
We're currently doing this show (on stage in a couple of weeks!), and I'm playing the Leopard. Have really enjoyed this number in particular, although I'd have liked to have heard him go up the octave on the chorus. Can't believe all you guys are under 19, really good!
@@may4ever504 wow I never thought someone would comment 8 years after I posted! I'm 22 now, Just So was my first show. I've done quite a few since then but Just So is still very special to me! I hope you make some great memories at camp :)
this show is kinda funny in a way, someone said the "M" word on purpose in the theatre on dress rehearsal day and everything was crazy ahahaha someone had a costume malfunction, someone passed out, many got hurt, and throughout the play everyone got sick ahahahaha!
hrm didnt notice, but couldnt songs be transposed to his range? I didnt notice anything wrong with it 0.0 I woulda been happier if he was actually parsee because auditioning for this role with an italian accent to go by doesn't seem too clever... 0.0
that's really too bad. Props, costumes, and lights though are only the finishing touches. As long as you put your heart into the performance and really get into character you'll be able to captivate the audience and make an excellent show! I hope your performance turns out well, it's a really fun show.
ok so how many times do you want to change key in this song? Dissapointed really. Especially as you decide not to sing some of it and just speak it. Accent keeps coming in and out aswell. Also dont think you played the character wild enough.
