Listened to this many times - the best version by anyone - exquisite touch on guitar and wonderful voice

This is the sort of ballad I love. Ger, puts his heart and soul into the delivery, but it's self contained and restrained and all the more moving for it. The guitar work is exquisite.

Its beautiful when music deals with a different aspect of love and that its not always about warm tummies and joyful moments of passion, but sadness also, usually at the end. The melancholy in the notes sound mournful...I think it reminds us that relationships are about surrender to an inherent vunerability...enemies can hurt you, but only love consumes you utterly

What the hell is that chord he plays in the first chorus. It’s incredibly subtle and sounds like an 11th chord and he doesn’t play it in chorus 2 or 3. Maybe it was a happy accident but damn it sounded good

Great rendition of this song, love it! Any chance we could get a quick guitar notation for your arrangement? Guitar tuning and chords would be most welcome and save me some time figure it out on my own. Standard notation or tablature would be amazing obviously, but I get that those take much more time.
