The Pass Christmas Special (The Silly Season) 

This is the most civil pass session I've seen in ages. It almost looks like you could get a wave without any accidental death.

Been silly season out there all year round for at least 15 years

First surfed the Pass in 1965. A crowd was anyone else who turned up. . You could camp where the carpark is now. Camped there for a month. Great waves most day.The banks seemed better then.A walk around the goat track to Wategoes looking out for snakes.

Why do total barns think they can sit behind the rock and take off with people that can actually surf? It’s like getting on Bathurst during the 1000 and doing 60 over the top of the hill 🤦‍♂️

Remember was working there in '06 and scored nice waves, not batshit crowded. That was like the last year before the Great Enshittening of Byron picked up speed. Great natural beauty, but the fake culture, and overpriced cheeselord's paradise it's become makes me glad I left the joint in '19. No tears...

What a zoo!

Why do the paddlers keeps paddling to the outside of the riders and then get in their way? If you are that close, man up, paddle to the inside, cop some whitewater and allow the rider a free path.
