Thanks for the comment and watching the video. It was a great honor for me to make almost 40 videos with Ralph Robertson that I filmed over a two year period. Since his passing in December they have been a surge in his video views here on RU-vid. The series was first posted a few years back on Facebook but at that time the RU-vid Channel only had about 2k subscribers. The greatest generation is slowly fading. The saddest part is that one day their stories will be gone forever.

It’s so sad when elderly people are taken out of their home and environment, they go downhill so fast. It’s like they leave their heart there and desire to just go home. It’s necessary to get them help when they need it but they’re rooted to the land. God bless his family and blessings to you John. You brought a lot of joy and respect to Ralph’s last few years.

It is amazing that a man that had such a hard life and grew up in the hard times yet he lived 97 years. Clean living. No preservatives in the food. Smoked until the end. God Bless ya. Rest In Peace ole Man. You lived a good long life.

I would highly recommend anyone who hasn't seen Ralph's vedios. Go on and watch them. A true old country man the last of the last. Just a pure old soul that only knew that you get what you put into it. This is what got me hooked on your vedios Jhon. But now I'm hooked on all of them vedios. He earned his wings in to heaven.

Never got to meet Mr Ralph but felt like i knew him. Love his stories his smile his laugh. He will deeply be missed. Maybe in time we can still see videos of the robertsons.

I am crying watching this. Mr Ralph reminded me of my precious uncle who passed away several years ago. He was a lot like Mr Ralph with his humor and treasure trove of wisdom.
