This song used to make me cry in my angsty day. But today it makes me cry for a different reason. About a year ago I lost my best friend Cecilia due to a fatal car accident. She was your biggest fan. She showed me your music and used to sing them at the top of our lungs while getting stoned and being reckless teenagers. The adventures we used to have will be with me forever. I just want to thank you for making music and being such an inspiration in her life. Your music made her want to help people and inspired her to keep going. Christopher Drew you are a good man. I just wanted to share with you how much your meant to her and how you are in my memories now. Thank you for your gift.

When I was in middle school I was singing this song to myself and my great grandmother overheard me. She was the one raising me and she knew I had a lot of problems, so after sitting there and listening to me sing for a while she asked me if I was singing something I wrote myself. Looking back on it over a decade later it's so sad. If I heard this song come out of my own kid I think I'd cry.

weird how this songs describes my life almost perfectly. i was 11 when i first started smoking cigarretes, when i was 14 i didn't give a shit about school and skipped classes all the time. by the time i was 16 i've already tried a lot of drugs, i loved weed and had alcohol problems, i almost died because of this. and when i hit 19 i left my home and started living on the streets and later in a van, watched all my friends leaving because of their university while i stood in that garbage town searching for food in the trash or finding a new place to stay every night
